Indoor Practice Facility has a Home

Overview
[su_spacer size=”20″] After floating several possible locations for Georgia’s new indoor practice facility, athletic director Greg McGarity told reporters at UGA Day in Albany than the building will rise from the grass practice field directly behind Butts-Mehre.

The new facility has been reported to be 80 yards wide and 140 long. As you can see from the measurement superimposed on the photo above (with the help of Google Maps) the facility will not fit within the existing grass practice field. The photo below shows the minimum space need for a 140 yard facility. It is going to be a tight fit but most fans are probably saying to themselves, “Just Do It.”
