[su_spacer size=”20″] Senior inside linebacker Jake Ganus talks about what it felt like to play for the first time in front of 90,000 plus fans in between the hedges at Sanford Stadium wearing the red and black in Georgia’s first game of the 2015 college football season against Louisiana-Monroe.
[su_spacer size=”20″]

It was awesome. Just seeing all those fans and that atmosphere is something I looked forward to for a long time.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Ganus is what it is like being part of Georgia’s line backing corps:
[su_spacer size=”40″]

We’ve worked hard … since January when I got here. We’ve been working for that game, and we all had a really good fall camp. We put ourselves in a good position to have a good game and a good season.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Jake told the media that he didn’t feel nervous and that he felt good playing Saturday.
[su_spacer size=”40″]

I didn’t feel many jitters. I just went out there and played.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Jake says he is excited to get into the heart of SEC play:
[su_spacer size=”40″]

I’m excited to get this thing rolling. I’m excited to head to Nashville this weekend and play the first game.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Jake talks about even though he and his fellow teammates at linebacker felt good about their performance versus ULM, there is definitely room for improvement. He stated that it is on the defense allowing ULM to score 14 points on Georgia.
[su_spacer size=”40″]

Overall, we did a good job, but there were a lot of little things we need to clean up on the defensive side. I think there is a lot of room for improvement.

[su_spacer size=”40″] And what was Jeremy Pruitt’s message to Jake Ganus and his defense after the victory over Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday?
[su_spacer size=”40″]

Don’t be satisfied because we haven’t done much yet.
