Javon Wims has emerged as one of the Bulldogs top receivers this season and a very reliable target for freshman quarterback Jake Fromm.

There is no doubt that the Bulldogs quarterback situation is a huge topic of conversation for the team, but it has put the team in a great position. The Bulldogs now have what they believe to be two quarterbacks that they can rely on in any game situation, but the decision on picking one is the issue.

However, this does not seem to be an issue with Javon Wims who has experience working with both of these quarterbacks and has helped make life easier for both Jacob Eason and Fromm. Wims has done a great job of making plays in game, but he’s also done a good job of developing a strong relationship with the freshman quarterback.

“Both Jake and Jacob are doing very good,” said Wims. “Absolutely, That’s my guy (Jake Fromm). On and off the field he’s a very good kid, he’s a very good quarterback so yeah we have a very strong relationship.”

Wims great size makes him such an effective weapon for the Bulldogs offense and he should continue to play an integral part in their offense no matter who is under center for the team.
