Senior tight end, Jeb Blazevich spoke to the media on Monday and mentioned how much he appreciates the fans. He mentioned how crucial it is for the Bulldog Nation to rally on away games and what it means to the team.

Blaevich talked about how big of an advantage it is when the Georgia crowd fills up 60 percent of the road stadium. He mentioned how crucial it was to win “home-field advantage” at away games.

Just talking strictly football perspective its a tremendous advantage. To hear their stadium get loud when it’s their offenses third down is just such a rare thing. I love our fans and our fan base and I love playing at home games. It’s such a huge advantage to take home games on the road with us and I think that has been incredible.

Georgia has won most of it’s away games with ease this season with the exception of the 20-19 victory over Notre Dame in South Bend. But even in that close, nip-tuck affair, Bulldog fans made the Irish’s stadium feel more like a neutral site 50-50 crowd. When your fans show up and take over 60 percent of the opponent’s stadium, that says something. It’s special.
