Kirby Smart is hoping for this team to become more successful in both aspects of the Bulldogs offense on a more consistent basis.

The Bulldogs offense this season has definitely had its days of inconsistencies and poor performances. This offense often times would have one aspect thriving, while the other aspect of the offense may struggle immensely. This plays back into the idea that Smart has conveyed before in that, the Bulldogs have different pieces playing their best game, but as a whole unit, there is a struggle.

Smart understands the importance of not becoming one-dimensional on offense and how establishing a running and passing game is a key component to teams having victory in the SEC.

Smart is looking in the coming weeks for the Bulldogs offense to not only play their best game in running or passing the ball but rather their best game as an offensive unit. Great play in the Bulldogs next game is especially pivotal because it is the type of game that could help the fans pass judgment on if this season was an overall success for Smart or a disappointment.

The Bulldogs have definitely had growing pains this season and it will be interesting to see how they cope with these offensive growing pains for the remainder of the season.
