Warren Easton High School senior Sedrick Van Pran from New Orleans, LA announced his decision to commit to the University of Georgia shortly after 9:00 p.m. CT.

Van Pran holds over 22 scholarship offers and committed to UGA over Alabama, LSU, and Texas A&M. The Bulldogs were one of the first major programs to offer “SVP.” Georgia Offensive Line Coach Sam Pittman identified Van Pran’s talent early on and the relationship he developed with ‘The Big Easy’ ‘Big Man’ was a key part of his recruitment.

247Sports ranks the 6-foot-4 and 305 lb Van Pran a 4-star prospect offensive lineman and the No. 3 center in the 2020 class, the No. 3 player from the state of Louisiana, and the No. 101 recruit overall nationally. Rivals ranks Van Pran as the No. 1 center in the country and the No. 72 recruit overall nationally.

“SVP’s” commitment is UGA’s 17th, and he will join a talented 2020 offensive line class for Georgia that includes 4-star OT Joshua Braun (Suwannee HS, Live Oak, FL), 5-star OT Broderick Jones (Lithonia HS, Lithonia, GA), 4-star OT Chad Lindberg (Clear Creek HS, League City, TX), and 4-star OT Tate Ratledge (Darlington School, Rome, GA).
