3 Things to Expect from the Game

1: Georgia’s Spike Shoulder Pads get some use

The Bulldogs have used the spike pads quite a few times this season already. However, after Tennessee turned the ball over six times against the Florida Gators, Georgia should have a hay day with the Volunteer offense. The Bulldogs have caused eight turnovers this season and expect them to have at least three turnovers against Tennessee.

2: Bulldogs Defense Stops the Run

Georgia’s defense usually stops the run with ease. However, this season that hasn’t been the case. After allowing giving up 172 yards to Missouri last week, I expect Georgia’s front seven to shut it down against the run. I don’t expect Tennessee to get over 100 rushing yards or many passing yards at that.

3: Kirby Smart is a man on a mission

Smart wasn’t happy after the Missouri game due to the lack of physicality and undisciplined play by his team. This week at practice has been quite intense and I expect Smart and his team to come out and punch the Volunteers in the mouth. Georgia needs to come out and prove they deserve to be No. 2 in the country and that last week was a fluke.

SL’s Score Prediction

Georgia defeated Tennessee 41-0 last season in Knoxville. After the hail mary incident two years ago, the Bulldogs want to completely dominate the Volunteers. Jake Fromm and all of his weapons move the ball all over the Tennessee defense and D’Andre Swift and Elijah Holyfield each rush for a touchdown. The Bulldogs get back on track after Missouri and defeat the Volunteers 45-0.
