During the SEC Championship teleconference, wide receiver Terry Godwin talked with Ben Beaty about the upcoming matchup against Auburn. The game is not only a rematch from a couple weeks ago but the SEC Championship. Godwin talked about how motivated the team is and how they’re on their heels. He mentioned how the team’s prepared for anything.

He talked about the entire team and how they’re not going to let Auburn or anyone else do what the Tigers did to them a few weeks ago. Godwin says they will come out with their A game and be ready to rematch Auburn.

I mean, we’re very motivated because, I mean, that game just goes to show that we can’t relax and just be on our heels,” Godwin says. “We’ve got to always be on our toes and be prepared for anything. I mean, there’s just the thought inside of the receiving room, we’re going to come out and not let anybody else do that to us or even Auburn do that to us again. We’ve just got to go out there and be on our “A” game.”

It seems like Godwin and company are ready to face Auburn for the second time and on an even bigger stage.
