On Monday, October 28, 2019, UGA running back D’Andre Swift discusses the upcoming Georgia vs. Florida game and last week’s bye week.

Did the tailback from Philadelphia, PA know how big of a game, how big of a rivalry Georiga-Florida is before he got to Athens and UGA?

“I think I was in high school. I believe it was my sophomore year when I truly realized how intense it was,” said Swift. “I noticed the atmosphere of the game and how seriously the coaches and players took this game.” 

Given the intensity of Georgia-Florida, what is it like to play in the game?

“It is amazing. It is one of the best ones that we have. The atmosphere is incredible with all the red and the blue,” said Swift. “You walk out for pregame warmups and look in the stands and just think wow, this is crazy.”
