The Bulldogs are looking to bounce back against their fierce rivals the Florida Gators and these three players will be worth keeping an eye on as the Bulldogs prepare for this game.

3. Natrez Patrick and Roquan Smith

The situation surrounding these two players is definitely a troubling for the Bulldogs coaching staff because of the lack of depth that the team has at inside linebacker. It is my belief that the Bulldogs will most likely handle the situation surrounding these two players internally, but if their run-in with the law leads to any sort of suspension, then the Bulldogs will have to fill two crucial spots before their game against Florida.

2. Jonathan Ledbetter

Jonathan Ledbetter played his first game of the season after serving a 6 game suspension and played a very solid game against Vanderbilt. Ledbetter will definitely see some playing time against Florida but how he performs in practice could play a large role into how much playing time he actually sees. He is a very talented player and it would not shock me at all if he had a strong week in practice and earned the start against the Gators.

1.Deandre Baker

Deandre Baker had to work hard to crack the Bulldogs starting lineup and his hard work in practice definitely played some sort of role in earning him the starting job. However, Baker was injured and unable to go against the Vanderbilt Commodores and it will be interesting to see if he is healthy enough to go against the Gators. Baker has done a great job since earning the start and I think he could be a very pivotal player for the Bulldogs if they want to walk out of Jacksonville with the “Okefenokee Oar.”

Defense made all three spots on my list because of all the question marks surrounding these positions. However, players like Isaiah McKenzie, Nick Chubb, and Jacob Eason will also have a huge part in helping lead the Bulldogs to victory.
