Travon Walker Stays Home and Signs with Georgia

Georgia gets good news from another five-star this morning as Travon Walker is officially a Bulldog. He is the latest to send in his paperwork and will join the Bulldogs this summer.

According to 247Sports, Walker ranks as the No. 24 overall player, the No. 2 DT and the No. 5 prospect in Georgia. He holds 15 offers. Walker runs a 4.97 40-yard dash and a 4.54 shuttle. He participated in the Nike Opening Finals and will play in the All-American Bowl.

Walker initially committed to the Bulldogs on July 24, 2018. He took his OV on Dec.7. Walker was another that after Mel Tucker left for Colorado questioned his commitment. However, he decided to stay home and play for Georgia.

He is a huge pickup for the Bulldogs and will be a big asset to the defensive line next football season. Walker is the fifth to send in his paperwork this morning.
