UGA Announces Non-Conference Home Football Schedule for 2019

Red “G” precedes the Red Team

UGA announced their non-conference home schedule for the 2019 college football season and the Bulldogs are slated to host Notre Dame, Murray State, and Arkansas State.

Murray State will visit Athens on September 7 followed by Arkansas State on September 14. Notre Dame will play the Dogs in Sanford Stadium on September 21.

Georgia and Notre Dame have played only once before, back in the 1981 Sugar Bowl game where the Bulldogs came out on top 17-10 and finished off an undefeated and untied season resulting in a national title. This season, Georgia will travel to Notre Dame on September 9th.

Arkansas State has been to six consecutive bowl games as a member of the Sun Belt Conference. The Red Wolves have played Georgia twice in Athens. The Bulldogs won both games, 38-7 in 1997, and 45-17 in 2001.

Murray State and Georgia have played only once. The Bulldogs defeated the Racers, 49-0, in Athens in 1945.
