They manage one hell of a home field advantage…so loud, seems RIGHT on top of the field, and makes use of… let’s say…well-allocated fan-types into the most advantageous sections (for noise and advantage on D). It’s smart, and no cowbells needed (another story, but how is that legal)!
I imagine it’s as something like “Cud’un Leroy’s” [Cunningham, presumably] brainchild. It’s like Seattle’s stadium innovations and noise impact…minus the use of tech and acoustics breakthroughs…plus backwoods ingenuity and elbow grease.

  2. RayRayDawg

Greg Poole my little brother won state title in the 800m there. that was a great day.

  3. CLTDawg

ZippyMorocco CLTDawg Right, but his time is running short. Lost a bunch of snaps in the last couple of years, and he could be third in line behind Moats or Harrison this year to play opposite of Bud Dupree. Very likely he moves along because he doesn’t do well on special teams.

  4. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Greg Poole  “That’s why you put your phone on vibrate when the movie starts”…..LOL

  5. Brooklyndawg

    THIS MUCH? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole you have to love an over confident player who has never lined up against a SEC team spewing such bull.  They are still not a very deep team.  Injuries have a way of popping up at the most inopportune times, just as us.

  7. Bulldawg36

I hate the SC Yard birds! They stink and always will!!! Dumb mascot and ugly uniforms!!! Williams Brice is a dumpster fire!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Brooklyndawg

All this loudmouth did was provide fire and brimstone locker room poster fodder for all Vol opponents. I hope some vol games are televised so he can be seen crying like a baby on their sidelines.

  9. Reddawg13

MMCSDAWG AlphaDawg so now Auburn can have electronic dummies to go with the real ones, Gus has to be smiling now!

  10. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole “Tennessee has lost 11 straight games to Florida and nine straight against Alabama”
Dang, didn’t know it was that bad.   rotfl

  11. Greg Poole

I’m looking forward to hearing what CKS allows in Macon tomorrow night. Pretty sure we will not get any face time but there are usually some good questions from the audience. I’ll post the entire thing to SoundCloud immediately after the event. Bob will post it here.

  12. Reddawg13

MMCSDAWG Reddawg13 Bulldawg36 Agreed. We have Blount, give me Holloman and Webb and I am happy!

  13. BahitsAgain

AlphaDawg Greg Poole Well, we have them on good turf this year.  Lets see how that works out for them.

    Chubb’s Revenge.

  14. MMCSDAWG

Reddawg13 Bulldawg36 Another point I would like to throw out there…  Can anyone tell me again exactly how many Pass receptions and total yards did this 5* actually have during his senior season at a private school?

  15. Trent Smallwood

Greg Poole Honestly hate it for AJ Johnson. Have known him since he was 13 years old and always was a great kid with an excellent head on his shoulders.

  16. Reddawg13

Bulldawg36 when the best looking girl in the bar turns me down for a dance I will dance with the second best one all night! Good riddance, I moved on when no was my answer! and had more fun because she really wanted to dance with me, just saying’!

  17. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole LOL!   Kongbo better learn his place!  keep believing that young man.  You haven’t played a single down of SEC football.  Talk to me this time next year.

  18. BahitsAgain

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole The irony is that we appear to have 4 QBs that could start somewhere in the league.  crazy

  19. MMCSDAWG

BahitsAgain Brooklyndawg Greg Poole Trent Smallwood The only way to change that culture and scenario is to replace them at the top of the “Bump chart”…  and the only way to do that is to win a championship or 2 or 3!!!   If we win a championship, players like Trey Blount will be 5stars instead of 4 stars…  Times are changing and I like where we are headed!

  20. Bulldawg Bob2

TeeHDawg   I would think so, but that is up to Coach McGee, Chaney and Smart.

  21. BahitsAgain

Brooklyndawg Greg Poole Trent Smallwood The got 2 five stars to commit.  That is going to be hard to duplicate.  Gumps headed to another number one class.  🙁

  22. TeeHDawg

So he is basically a take if he wants to commit. With his size, speed, and vision, he might be a top 5 by the time his Sr year is finished. He has Gurley potential.

  23. MMCSDAWG

Bulldawg Bob2 MMCSDAWG TeeHDawg Mine doesn’t like my fat fingers when I try replying on the board when I’m at home monitoring either! ###

  24. Bulldawg Bob2

MMCSDAWG Bulldawg Bob2 TeeHDawg   my phone doesn’t like my accent. Using the voice to type feature lol

  25. Greg Poole

MMCSDAWG Watch the video I post tomorrow. Training offensive lineman on pulls and other difficult blocks is very difficult without actually doing it. The problem is that you don’t want your corners and other db getting blasted while drilling linemen. . Remember, this can evade.

It looks like it could have some very practical benefits — and money is not a concern at major colleges.

  26. Bulldawg Bob2

TeeHDawg   Chuba is the real deal. He’s in my top 10 as far as running backs for 2010.

  27. Greg Poole

dawgmum It is the same thing that happens to prospects when they commit. The game is over. However, for the brother the game is over forever. His 15 minutes have expired and he wants some time back.

  28. MMCSDAWG

dawgmum Trent Smallwood Bulldawg36 Exactly!  like Greg Poole  has said a couple of times, if I were the teacher, he would get the grade he needed!  lol

  29. Bulldawg Bob2

Bulldawg36  Most Georgia high school students will be taken finals this week and next; so, not long after that. Most kids will have their final grades by the end of May.

  30. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole MMCSDAWG I know, just don’t really see the practicality being worth the initial capital required to invest in this particular “New” device.  Now, I have seen those new 3-D virtual reality googles that some teams are using to help train QB’s, RB’s and receivers…  Now that is something I believe could help in training players to read and react without having to put 22 players on the field and moving at full speed.

  31. Brooklyndawg

Ditto….the only relic may be a term of endearment, we were demetrified….lol.

  32. Greg Poole

MMCSDAWG As you know teams have used blocking and tackling dummies forever. I got a broken thumb holding one in the 9th grade. It think it could be valuable tool. Remember that there are going to be more restrictions on hitting.

  33. MMCSDAWG

dawgmum Trent Smallwood Greg Poole Bulldawg36 I really, really, really hope we have, I know it’s hard to pass on a potential talent, but honestly, I don’t see the potential being worth the risk, so I sold this stock already!

  34. dawgmum

Trent Smallwood Greg Poole Bulldawg36 Yeah, what’s with his brother saying “anything could happen” after they had made it perfectly clear his decision was going to be final? They need to move on, and so do we.

  35. MMCSDAWG

    Trent Smallwood Greg Poole Bulldawg36

AMEN!  We have more important tasks at hand!  Moving on up and moving on out!

  36. Brooklyndawg

Once the coaches and players hit the field, for any gsme, I’ll feel less unsettled

  37. Trent Smallwood

Greg Poole Bulldawg36 I am not believing nothing with that clan…………and honestly do not care. Lol

  38. Greg Poole

Bulldawg36  I’m not 100% sure of anything, but Robertson is 99.9999989999999899999999999999999% gone – forget it.

  39. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole MMCSDAWG I saw something about these a few weeks ago…  Mobile Virtual Players….  Not sure how you learn blocking skills and or DT skills with one.  The game is still won and lost in the trenches for me.  Minimizing unnecessary contact has been in practice at all levels of football for a few years now.  It sounds good and it looks cool, but honestly, I don’t see a huge upside to investing in this company! lol.  Is avoiding this artificial dummy gonna cause a RB or receiver to put a little extra angle or force on a ligament or joint? Concussions aren’t the only serious or lifelong injury sustained in football.

  40. dawgmum

Trent Smallwood Bulldawg36 He says he’s been working hard. I think getting his ACT scores up was probably the more difficult of his tasks. He should have no problem getting those last couple of points on his grades.

  41. MMCSDAWG

Trent Smallwood Bulldawg36 Is he a take if he passes the clearing house?  Do we take him immediately?

  42. Bulldawg36

You’re right!!! Now I have a new team I hate…the California golden bears!!!

  43. Trent Smallwood

Bulldawg36 He should be fine. End of course tests will be over next couple weeks. He is on the right track

  44. rugbydawg79

ZippyMorocco rugbydawg79 Greg Poole I was an eighth grade miler-believe it was called Jefferson relays back then -they invited top 8th graders I didn’t place but ran a 5:12 a long time ago–I was at North Springs

  45. Bulldawg36

I’m not a 100 percent sure Robertson ends up in California!!! Just a feeling but glad it’s over tho

  46. Greg Poole

MMCSDAWG They are marketing this as a hitting reduction device, I think. I gonna check out the company and post about it.

  47. BenKellam

Brooklyndawg I’m only just now getting used to Kirby as HC. It was very strange to me for a while.

  48. MMCSDAWG

    AlphaDawg
Looks like some GA may be getting replaced with electronic Dummies!

  49. Brooklyndawg

Major regime change in CFB is interesting. To me, anyway, it seems like all of it happened 5 years ago, rather than only 5 months ago, more or less.

  50. ZippyMorocco

    rugbydawg79 ZippyMorocco Greg Poole
My son ran the 100 and 4×100 for Marietta HS. What was your event?

  51. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole DanMathewsATL  If the only negatives he has includes Chubb and our QB situation….  I’m pretty comfortable with those.  The DL is going to be an issue and yes they are going to be young, but I trust our staff will have them ready to play come Sept…

  52. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole MMCSDAWG Pretty sure the same could be said about all the other teams in the East as well, exactly where would UTk be if Dobbs gets hurt and was out for 4-5 games….  They might have a slight advantage in depth at a few positions, but skill positions is Not one of them.  It should be a fun season to watch unfold!

  53. Brooklyndawg

Greg Poole Trent Smallwood We need some NOW. We’re back down to #6 on the 247 composite, and gumps jumped up to #3.

  54. Brooklyndawg

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole He’s a classic case of trying to build an empire using bricks made without straw.

  55. Brooklyndawg

TeeHDawg From what folks said yesterday, Chubb’s HS competition wasn’t exactly stellar, but I never followed him myself. Same thing for Gurley, did he compete against the best in HS? He never achieved 5* fame, but was he ever in real time CFB.

  56. Brooklyndawg

MMCSDAWG Brooklyndawg Reddawg13 Actually, this is a VERY tiny portion of my own collection. I’d be happy to give some to CKS!!!

  57. Trent Smallwood

MMCSDAWG In next 2-3 weeks. Georgia likely has 18-20 on the commit list by Aug 30

  58. MMCSDAWG

Brooklyndawg MMCSDAWG Reddawg13 Nothing like a few Cherry Bombs with short fuses!

  59. TeeHDawg

Afternoon guys. Anyone got an evaluation on Chuba, the RB from Canada? How would he rank in the current rankings? Love his film, but will the competition he plays against ( Nick Chubb) have a bearing on his ranking or eval?

  60. Brooklyndawg

MMCSDAWG Reddawg13 My avatar is now what could be CKS’ mantra: short fuse so watch out, I might go off like one of these!

  61. MMCSDAWG

Reddawg13 Hells Yeah!   Kirb stomping is now our mantra!  “You just got Kirb Stomped Booootch!”

  62. Greg Poole

Reddawg13 Email me so I don’t have to look up your address and I’ll send you a couple or three.  bulldawgillustrated.ecdawg@gmail.com

  63. Greg Poole

MMCSDAWG That’s true. A couple of injuries on the O or D lines could mean big problems, though. CKS is a couple of years away from the depth he needs to weather that type of thing.

  64. Reddawg13

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole do you also have fleas and drag your butt across the carpet? ##

  65. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole Man…  I know I have Dawg colored glasses and drink my fair share of Dawg Shine, but that schedule simply isn’t overwhelming…   I know we are in a transition year, but I still believe we can and probably should win the East!  #ATD

  66. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole Naw…  I hope they keep is butt around for a long time so we can beat up on them year after year.  They could really be dangerous if they were to get a really good HC!

  67. MMCSDAWG

Reddawg13 MMCSDAWG Greg Poole Thanks Red!  Kirby and Saban himself were fighting over this kid for a reason!  Kirby brought the helicopter to the school, even though he wasn’t at school…  he was out to lunch with N. Saban.  so what does Kirby do, he get’s his entire staff to meet up at Tyler’s house and they have that house party complete with a real live Bulldog in toe.  Kid is gonna be a player!

  68. Reddawg13

ZippyMorocco MMCSDAWG Greg Poole Didn’t McBride strain a muscle last meet?

  69. Reddawg13

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole I haven’t forgotten about him, he is going to help us a lot, great post Buddy!

  70. MMCSDAWG

ZippyMorocco MMCSDAWG Greg Poole I hope so… hehe    I hope Kirby is able to lock him down before NSD!  McBride is much more vital to our championship desires than the other one!

  71. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole I believe another incoming UGA star will be there as well competing in several of those same events..  McEachern High’s Tyler Simmons will be running too!  Let’s see who’s the fastest.  I think some of us have forgotten about the speedster we flipped from Alabama on NSD!  I know a lot of people are looking forward to Simms, Woerner, and Mecole reporting for duty, but don’t count out Simmons!  This kid is FAST and can get deep in a hurry!

  72. Bulldawg36

We’ll talk to u fellas later.. I’m going to listen to some Morris Day to calm my nerves down!!!!!!!

  73. Greg Poole

Bulldawg Bob2 I asked Jay if he has lost weight (he looked slimmer). He said, no – just in better shape.

  74. MMCSDAWG

DawgDaddy He lost them 2 games last year alone.  His decisions cost them the oklahoma and Florida games last year.  Not a very good in-game coach for sure!

  75. ZippyMorocco

    CLTDawg
They didn’t cut him. They just didn’t pick up the extension for $8.4M. They can still sign him.

  76. AlphaDawg

Bulldawg Bob2 Yup most of these kids like to get their voices heard so I’m sure Lucas can drop some DMs or the BI twitter account with all of those followers could get a response from these guys

  77. Bulldawg Bob2

Bulldawg36  Wonder what homelife for that couple is like when its South Carolina vs Clemson week…..

  78. DawgDaddy

@MMCSDAWG I’m wid ya MMCS, Booch still hasn’t won squat. I am impressed with his recruiting but less than impressed with his coaching abilities.

  79. Bulldawg36

Just got back from rite aid. Saw couple and the guy was wearing chicken stuff from head to toe. The girl was wearing Clemson stuff from head to toe. Disgusting!!! Know wonder I’m on blood pressure medicine and only 38!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  80. DawgLink

Don’t blame them at all. He broke the contract by not meeting the stipulations set there in

  81. AlphaDawg

CLTDawg Pics of him at Gday he looked like he was a WR. Was really weird how non muscular he looked.

  82. AlphaDawg

UGA did not send the $100,000 check following the show. They’re not willing to pay full price after stipulations in the contract — start time and length — were not met.

  83. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole That is billboard material for SURE!  Let’s just see how this whole UTk team reacts to being the hunted this season…  I have a willingness to Yolo again… lol!  If we could I would bet the farm that UTk does NOT win the SEC and/or the SECe for that matter.  Let’s see how those bricks hold up under pressure this year!  I can’t wait to beat the hell out of them!

  84. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole BOTH!  LSU is predicted to be atop the SEC this year and anything less than a visit to Atlanta would be all she wrote for Les.  Another 5-6 loss season for Gus and he is gone!

  85. Greg Poole

I posted this to the Big 12 expansion page on Facebook. Don’t know if they will appreciate the humor:

  86. CLTDawg

Looks like the Steelers are cutting bait on Jarvis Jones. Guy’s game just couldn’t translate in the league, which is odd because he was about as dominant a college player as we’ve seen.

  87. Greg Poole

Dawgnation4 When he gets some film posted let us know. We will be happy to run it.

  88. Bulldawg Bob2

Just FYI, We are going to start up the recruiting chat again on a more regular basis after Lucas gets done with finals; so, in about another week or two.

We also have plans to do recruiting podcasts this summer with prospects as guests. They will be shorter than the BD Illustrated On-Air and Breaking the Huddle ones, but should be really fun and good stuff.

  89. Dawgnation4

Greg Poole Dawgnation4 He has about 6 or 7 lined up so far and I am pushing to get him in a lot more. He is getting a ton of exposure with his 7-on7 right now. They played in Atlanta a couple weekends ago, and finish the year up at the national tourney at IMG. But I pushing him on the camps hard

  90. Bulldawg Bob2

Dawgnation4 Bulldawg Bob2 Greg Poole  7-on-7 is better than none at all though. Part of the recruiting process now-a-days with social media is just getting your name out there for the recruiting services and coaches to see.

If he has a pic in his football uniform, send it to me, and I’ll do him an edit.

  91. Greg Poole

Dawgnation4  It is that all of the major camps (even the regional ones) put on by the big services like Rivals are by invite only, according to the reply I got from Rivals.

What it boils down to is going to the pay camps and performing well to get ranked by the services in order to get ranked and later invited to the bigger camps.

He should be working toward next year by attending some pay camps this summer.

  92. Dawgnation4

Bulldawg Bob2 Dawgnation4 Greg Poole And I know 7-on-7 highlights arent what coaches want to see but, at least it gives them something to see.

  93. Dawgnation4

Bulldawg Bob2 Dawgnation4 Greg Poole His school throws the ball like 3 times a game, so he is making some highlights now of his 7-on-7 play to go along with it since he doesn’t get much exposure in HS. I have tried to get him to transfer schools, but he just wont do it…

  94. Bulldawg Bob2

Dawgnation4  Some of the camps are pay and go like Greg Poole and some are by invite. The other thing that will help is if he has any highlights he can put up on Hudl if his school or coach has an account.

  95. Bulldawg Bob2

Bulldawg36  I wouldn’t say needed, but he could have been a very nice addition to the 2016 signing class for Georgia and could have definitely contributed to the team

  96. Bulldawg Bob2

Wanted to post this up closer to the top, but this is in answer to Score Check’s question about who the next commitment could be for Georgia.

I expect a 2 or 3 in the latter part of May after the kids are done with finals. Who? 2017 DE – Malik Herring has been on commit watch and could very well be a silent commit, but there are a number of prospects that recently put UGA at the top of their list or in their top 3 like 2017 WRs Jeremiah Holloman and Mark Webb along with 2017 athletes Keldrick Carper and Jacoby Stevens.

Also, keep your eye on 2017 RB D’Andre Swift.

2017 OL – D’Antne Demery might be a silent and I have had him on commit watch as well. Same goes for Nate McBride.

Georgia is currently sitting at 9 commitments for 2017, and I expect them to go into June with 11 to 12 .

  97. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole I was in the stands.  Surely that is worth a free lunch or something.

  98. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole I was surprised they didn’t lock down the naming rights to the stadium.  Either them, Delta or Home Depot seemed more natural than the German car maker.

  99. MMCSDAWG

dawgmum Greg Poole Like the way we’re thinking here!  And from a per capita  basis it is true!  lol

  100. Greg Poole

dawgmum California, Texas and Florida each have more than twice Georgia’s population

  101. dawgmum

Greg Poole Of course, Texas is about three times the size of Georgia, so technically it’s a wash. ##

  102. Greg Poole

AMB Sports & Entertainment has signed Coca-Cola to a 10-year deal as a founding partner of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the new home of the Falcons and Atlanta United opening in June ’17. Financial terms were not disclosed, but founding partnerships are typically valued at seven figures annually. The deal extends to Coca-Cola serving as the exclusive non-alcoholic beverage supplier of the teams and the $1.5B facility. Coca-Cola, which is based in Atlanta, has served its products at Falcons games since the team’s inception in ’66.
The soft drink brand joins Equifax, The Home Depot, NCR, Novelis, SunTrust, IBM and American Family Insurance as stadium founding partners.http://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Daily/Morning-Buzz/2016/05/03/Coke.aspx

  103. Greg Poole

Georgia sophomore is set to explode?  New article posted above – refresh to see

  104. MMCSDAWG

ZippyMorocco Greg Poole Morning Zip…  Right, it’s those steroid chickens or something!  i watch my son’s team and I’m amazed at the size and speed of these kids now a days.

  105. Greg Poole

Dawgnation4  Just sent a DM to Rivals – I’ll let you know what they say.

  106. Greg Poole

Dawgnation4   I’m pretty sure those are invitational but I’ll check and  let you know.

  107. Dawgnation4

Need some advice from the Pros!

My little brother is finishing up his sophomore year, he is 6’3 almost 6’4 175lbs and runs a 4.72 40 right now. Just the last season he truly got serious in the weight room and improving his speed and agility. My parents recently hired a WR/speed coach for him to work on his routes.  I do not think he is the talent level for top DIV1 schools, but who knows. (no offense to him)

However, how can he get into some of the bigger camps? Currently he plays on a travel 7-on-team and plays in a different state every weekend pretty much right now. However, the camps have all changed since I played and was recruited over a decade ago now. Any advice from those that frequent the camps?

  108. Reddawg13

BahitsAgain Greg Poole Reddawg13 Yep, take their money and send them back north! lol

  109. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole Reddawg13 In the mean time, local businesses should cash in on the traveling northerners!

  110. Reddawg13

AlphaDawg Reddawg13 Yes, agree. The staff he was able to hire as a first year HC was amazing to me.

  111. Reddawg13

MMCSDAWG Reddawg13 Greg Poole I totally agree. And Ramsey is a wild card as you say. Lambert is NOT the man.

  112. AlphaDawg

Reddawg13 I think most HCs live and die by their coordinators. Good hires, good discipline, good recruiting.

  113. MMCSDAWG

Reddawg13 Greg Poole Yes we do Red!  I am still predicting Eason as our starter game #1!  He has 4 months of additional time to learn a playbook and expand his connection with our team.  The only wild card I see is Ramsey.  If he is somehow able to put it all together this summer he could be our starter, but I still believe it will be Eason.  Some people believe Lambert gives us the best chance to win game 1…  I don’t understand or agree with that assessment.   I believe our best opportunity to win comes from starting the QB with the most talent period.  Will Chaney and Kirby manage the playbook and the system to minimize turnovers and limit his reliance on throwing into unexpected coverage’s?  I believe the answer is Yes.  We will have a pretty darn good running game with Chubb, Sony, Hollyfield, etc.  Last I looked it’s not like UNC was a top run stopping defense in the country.  We are LOADED at TE and I loved the formations that Chaney put out on the field during G-day that lined the TE’s up in multiple positions both on and off the LOS, split out, etc.  My final decision is based on 1 simple question.  The dawgs are trailing UNC by 4 points, there is less than 2 minutes on the clock, we have only 1 timeout remaining and the ball on our own 32 yard line needing a TD to win.  Who do you want as our QB and who gives you the best chance to drive the length of the field in under 2 minutes.  Who can make all the throws you need in this situation?  The answer for me is Eason.

  114. Reddawg13

Kirby learned from the best. Kirby has more personality. Kirby works just as hard or harder. Kirby is an alum. Kirby is in Athens not Tuscaloosa. Kirby has more talent close by. Kirby has better looking uniforms. Sounds like a recipe for some great success to me! Of course time will tell, but in my mind time is as excited as the rest of us!

  115. Greg Poole

Reddawg13 My prediction is that these events will drop out of the news radar quickly

  116. Reddawg13

Greg Poole MMCSDAWG, it appears you and I think alike about a lot of stuff on here!

  117. Reddawg13

Greg Poole Yes we will see multiple QB’s at the opener. Number 10 will be on the field and the other three will be on the sidelines, but we will still be able to see them, so the answer is “yes.”

  118. BenKellam

Greg Poole Part of the reason why a dash cam is such a valuable investment. I may have gotten out of the car after that and given him a real reason to be laying on the ground.

  119. AlphaDawg

DawgDaddy AlphaDawg dr was 4 hours behind so the surgery was a lot later than expected. Last I heard she was in recovery and resting. Thanks for asking. I’m dependent on my aunt right now to give me updates and I would feel more confident if you gave a 5 year old a phone to text me updates

Nice to see UGA in front of these satellite camps; Whether anything comes from them or not.

Getting Swift and Webb would be great pickup of a package deal. Both look very legit. Watching Webb highlights the QB can throw a nice ball too. I bet that kid is getting serious looks from lots of schools

    On Kirby’s law:
“Under the existing law in Georgia, and almost every other FOIA law in the nation, there was no firm deadline on how long they had to get me all the documents. Courts have awarded penalties (usually attorney’s fees) in cases where the institution is clearly stonewalling. And a court may make the state show what affirmative steps it has taken to gather and provide the information. But at no time has anyone in the UGA Athletic Association been under a duty to get me all  the information which I seek within 3 days. Never. And there is no firm guidance regarding what information is immediately available.”

There is an interesting story published in the Recruiting News section above about a new school in South Carolina that is trying to put together and IMG-type program.

    Frank Beamer:
“I think the SEC will be there for a long time,” Beamer told SEC Country. “You look at the stadiums, the passion that’s in southern football. Not many of them are fighting other elements — pro football is not a direct conflict — so I think just the whole setting, what it’s become, the stadium sizes, the competition. It’s probably, from top to bottom, the best conference going. I think all these things lead to that.”
