36 – I personally don’t dislike FT but do feel as if he uses his prior celebrity status to freely share his opinions on matters on which the “common man” (including myself) had no voice. However, that’s not uncommon in our society as many actors use their time in the limelight to share their own political views, many of which I disagree with.

  2. Bansai buckeroo

Haha….believe me I thought about it. We see each other ocassionally, sadly mostly at family funerals….

  3. DawgDaddy

Bansai buckeroo Hate to see that you have not kept in touch, I was going to ask if you could get him to get me on Augusta National, lol.

  4. Bansai buckeroo

First I’ve heard about it…yes he is my cousin but haven’t kept in touch much since we were kids……not sure you can always believe what you read on Facebook but I could be wrong.

  5. Bulldawg36

For real…he is your cousin? UGA fans that support UGA Facebook fan page. They think Payne and Tarkenton had richt fired. Lol. That’s what I’m getting from them

  6. Bansai buckeroo

Billy Payne is my cousin…..first I’ve ever heard of anyone disliking him….where are you getting your info 36….

  7. PatriotVeteran

MMCSDAWG If there is evidence that Eason is 1% better than the other 2 who have had time to achieve their effectiveness, than Eason should start.         Experience is great if you can use that experience, but there was no greatness shown by Lambert in any game last year that guarantees his experience is warranted.      With NC and Nichols State are first 2 games, he should be completely ready to face Missouri and show his ability to gain experience from the first two games.       Eason has to start sometime’s and wasting  time watching Lambert won’t help.        The NC game will be CKS’s first game as a Headcoach, should be wait until game 2 to let him take control?   No, you’re the HC and No, Eason shouldn’t be sitting on the bench when our 2016 first game starts.    Start Eason for the good of the fans, IF, he is ready,

  8. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Bulldawg36  Bandit should be a racoon’s name, Rocky? next you’ll be wearing orange###

  9. Hobnailboot aka RobG

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole  if that is their strength they are in trouble

  10. Hobnailboot aka RobG

BenKellam Greg Poole  If Kirby thinks he’s vital then absolutely…..kid is a beast though, if his work ethic is half as strong as they make it out to be he’s one of those guys that gets better and better every year all the way through his NFL career

  11. BenKellam

Greg Poole No offense but can a 3* OLB really be considered “vital.” Vital to me means that the entire fan base that knows anything at all about recruiting will be rioting in the streets if we don’t get him.

  12. 75tranzam

Bulldawg36 People dislike Fran because he was outspoken that CMR had to go when it seemed only the AJC was beating that drum last season.

He also represents to me the “country club” culture so many people who aren’t UGA fans point to as a problem at Georgia.

I don’t feel that way myself, IMO he’s a DGD who stepped up to the plate when UGA was asking for contributions for the new IPF last year.

  13. RobDawg

I do not know anyone who dislikes either of the two. Fran is outspoken I grant you but I don’t know anyone who dislikes Billy Payne. Where is your info coming from on all the people who dislike them

  14. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg36 idk to me he just seems to try and rile stuff up like finebaum

  15. DawgDaddy

DawgLink Really hard to imagine any of them better than TG3, injuries and suspension were the only things to stop him in college.

  16. Bulldawg36

Can I at least get one reply! And no my own reply to my question doesn’t count!!!!

  17. Bulldawg36

True! Lol. I would like to see him get attacked by a raccoon & possum and a muskrat all at the same time

  18. Bulldawg36

Some of our fan base really hate Fran Tarkenton and Billy Payne. I don’t understand why? Anyone have an opinion as to why?

  19. DawgLink

I don’t agree with several on the list. Knowshon was good but not Gurley good.

  20. DawgLink

No one is guaranteed NFL. Although I think he would have been good. But if had the insurance you spoke of, it would have taken care of him.

  21. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole I like the new drone seats that you mount laying face down under the wings like fighter fuel tanks.  The drones race up and down the field for the optimal birds eye view.

Teams are rewarded extra points if their punter can nail and dislodge a fan.   QBs are rewarded bonus checks for doing the same.

  22. Bulldawg36

I don’t understand why Texas A&m and penn st are ranked ahead of us…that’s just ludicrous!!!!!!!!!

  23. Bulldawg36

We should be number one. One day when I have season tickets we will be the number one fan base

  24. MMCSDAWG

    godawgs678

I’m going with Wynn and Catalina starting at RT with Pyke dropping back down inside to OG.

  25. godawgs678

Who is our starting LT game one? Catalina, Wynn, Kendall Baker, Pat Allen? I’m going Catalina.

  26. dsw61

Bulldawg36 Speaking of Georgia pine needles; I need to get a bunch of bales to spread around my house. My daughter’s BF has forty acres covered with pine needles, but he lives in south Georgia and I have no way of transporting it in a way that would be cost effective.

  27. MMCSDAWG

AlphaDawg Good for him!   I hope they use him like he should be used and he excels in the NFL!  Don’t run him between the tackles, get him out in space and let his speed show!

  28. Brooklyndawg

Bulldawg36 Smart man….sounds like you have your priorities lined up properly. Having your own child, 24/7, is unlike any experience you’ve ever had. And you’l find that you’re always dealing with “situations”. The last thing you and your wife need, are unnecessary distractions of a family pet, especially one that needs its one tending-to (vet bills, food, etc).  Plus you’ll be thinking about buying a house. As the time gets closer, don’t panic!

  29. Bulldawg36

I might go to that Georgia mountain egg fest this sat!!! I bet that will rock!!!

  30. Bulldawg36

He’s smoking Georgia pine needles and drinking red lava kool aid baby!!!!!!!!!! DSW Rules!!!!!!!

  31. Bulldawg36

Well it will be like having two babies!!!! Naw I agree with you I should wait. Plus they’re so durn expensive and then you have vets bills. Everytime I think about getting one- those expenses put the halt to it.

  32. Brooklyndawg

Bulldawg36 Why count your chickens before they hatch? Wait until the baby is born, nice and healthy and normal, and your fatherly help will be sorely needed, those of us with kids can tell you. You have plenty of time in the next couple or 3 years to get yourself a dawg. Right? First properties, first.

  33. Bulldawg36

All good advice fellas. Don’t think the wife will let me have one. With the baby coming along. I’ll see if she will let me get an English bulldog tho. It’s time for me to have another one!!!!!!!!

  34. RumRunnerDoogie

Bansai buckeroo oh that heals all for me :).  scientists just refuse to say its good for people#

  35. Brooklyndawg

MMCSDAWG Bulldawg36 Let’s vote…#36 should change his BI name to Koonhound.

  36. Brooklyndawg

MMCSDAWG Brooklyndawg Bansai buckeroo That’s right, but in clinical allergy/immunology, not anti-psychotics##

  37. MMCSDAWG

Brooklyndawg Bansai buckeroo You should know….  you were a pharmaceutical guy for a long time right…  ###

  38. Bulldawg36

I think I’ll buy me a Raccoon and name it Rocky! That sounds like a good coon name what y’all think?

  39. MMCSDAWG

dsw61 MMCSDAWG  Like you’ve said numerous times, as long as they (Chaney) don’t start using those idiotic throwing drills, I think he will be fine.  Rewatching the G-day game a few times now, I see his release point and should tilt being adaptable and fluid, which I happen to like.  He is able to get plenty of zip on the ball from a short drop or on the move.

  40. dsw61

So…Max Wray is going to convince Lawrence to sign with Georgia. Then…Wray and Lawrence are going to convince Zamir White to sign with Georgia. Then the three of them are going to get Jamaree Salyer to sign.

  41. BahitsAgain

dsw61 MMCSDAWG We need to start referring to him as Old Fran whenever his name comes up.

  42. dsw61

MMCSDAWG Just imagine what Fran’s opinion would be on Eason if he actual watched the G-Day Game.

  43. dsw61

MMCSDAWG Looks like Eason has a little shoulder tilt going on in the inset image of him with this article. Hope he keeps heading in that direction.

  44. MMCSDAWG

This is one of the few things I tend to agree with Sir Francis on…  Eason starts game 1.

  45. MMCSDAWG

Dawgnation4 Amen to that one!  We need something to break and preferably nothing Negative like an arrest!

  46. BenKellam

Greg Poole BenKellam Yea I totally meant that as a good thing. These guys better hop on the train soon or they’re gonna get left at the station.

  47. Greg Poole

BenKellam …and that’s a good thing. Better to have to turn some away than to scramble to fill slots on NSD – and after.

  48. BenKellam

Greg Poole So it kinda seems like were gonna have to start turning guys away on the O line. (knock on wood) Pittman is a magician.

  49. BahitsAgain

Looking through the top 50 players on 247, I see that 32 are uncommitted.

Just looking at each uncommitted players top five choices, how do the schools rank in recruits that list them?

    25 – Bama
    13 – Free Shoes U
    11 – OSU
10 – The Good Guys!  GEORGIA!
    7 – ND, Michigan, Clempson
    5 – Butches underperformers
    4 – Texas, Miami, Florida
    2 – LSU
    1 – Auburn and a few others

Well, a few remaining top recruits have a lot of shared interest in a few schools.   I thought it was interesting.

    http://247sports.com/Season/2017-Football/CompositeRecruitRankings?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool

  50. MMCSDAWG

dsw61 More like a Great start!  lol!   If we could land that duo, we would definitely be looking good!  I too watched his films and the key for me is the footwork, he is still raw, but for a kid his age and level of competition, he is looking very good!  The feet and the punch are keys to pass pro from the LT!  I too believe we got a good one in Wray!

  51. dsw61

Did a little research on Max Wray. Didn’t realize how good he is. Several pundits believe he has tremendous upside. They rave about his length and athleticism. Sounds like he has the potential to be a really good player. I watched some video of him and he really uses his arms well. He’s a well spoken kid who is reportedly well grounded and puts in the work. He and Lawrence would be a good start to the 2018 Class.

  52. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole AlphaDawg pump in knock out gas into their living quarters after 10:30pm.   Or, require they all have a nice (spiked) glass of milk at 10pm

  53. AlphaDawg

Bulldawg36 Nike must really hate us for those power ranger outfits we ripped on social media

  54. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole AlphaDawg haha nope. It will mean more time getting into things they probably shouldn’t.

  55. dsw61

AlphaDawg godawgs678 We typically keep cinnamon raisin bagels and cream cheese in the house. Good combination.

  56. AlphaDawg

RumRunnerDoogie AlphaDawg dsw61 Greg Poole Would it be a demotion? It would be lateral, no?

  57. Bulldawg36

On the live chat with Chip Towers I asked him about the “silver britches ” and he didn’t answer my question. I will never asked him another question again. It’s plain ridiculous that MCGARITY can’t get UGA the real silver!!!!!!!!!!!!

  58. Greg Poole

AlphaDawg They are college students. I doubt that cutting back on practice will result in more sleep – jus’ sayin’

  59. RumRunnerDoogie

AlphaDawg dsw61 Greg Poole idk where all these rumors came from, why would he take a demotion?

  60. RumRunnerDoogie

AlphaDawg BahitsAgain godawgs678 sausage biscuit and hashbrowns mmmmhmmm

  61. MMCSDAWG

BahitsAgain AlphaDawg godawgs678 I had a single banana as well…  feeling kind of left out as well!

  62. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole I thought you said no politics.  Why did you post that picture of Hillary?

  63. BahitsAgain

AlphaDawg godawgs678 now you did it.  My banana breakfast doesn’t feel so fillingnow.

  64. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole Maybe, the IMG experience and time away from home will have the same homesickness affect on him as it did with Nauta.

That definitely worked in our favor.

  65. Greg Poole

BahitsAgain Good questions but as a percentage of the total population a small problem to be addressed. It is not going to happen anyway, thus sweating the details is moot.

  66. BahitsAgain

AlphaDawg Greg Poole What if the kid gets a serious injury?  If schools hold back on offering because they are instantly used if the kid signs, then the offers become more valuable.  Saban had no problem “grey shirting” kids as they got hurt during their senor season, but Richt did and he would stick with them.  How will Kirby handle it?  How would offer/sign affect the grey shirt strategy of some coaches?

  67. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole AlphaDawg or Butch Jones will need to find a way to sign 400 players

  68. Greg Poole

AlphaDawg It would change the mass offerings, however. If every offer is commitable, schools would be far less likely to extend them as now.

  69. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole LOL they never win early. Butch always pads the 2nd half of the seaon

  70. MMCSDAWG

AlphaDawg Greg Poole Been saying that for a while now…  Win, and they will come!!

  71. Greg Poole

AlphaDawg I guess. Certainly, winning promotes more winning but if that were it not streak would ever stop.
Not arguing but there is more to it than recruiting.

  72. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole My assumption is that most kids would end up waiting until the end anyways since they know they’ve got more offers coming down the line and need to make visits. It would only make things different for those who really want to go somewhere and only one place.

Plus with the coaching changes going all the way into May now, it’s not going to change a late ‘mass’ signing, imo.

  73. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole AlphaDawg The wonderful for Bama is they don’t have to worry about getting a great recruiter. The championships market themselves. Get the person you think can do the job well.

  74. Greg Poole

AlphaDawg Yes, that reasoning was posted, but, from what I heard last year , there would have been some serious changes made by one of them for that to happen.

  75. Greg Poole

“A year ago, Rodriguez began exploring the idea of eliminating National Signing Day and allowing colleges to sign players at any point during their high school careers. This notion sounds counterintuitive to people who don’t understand how recruiting works in 2016, but it would slow the process because each offer would correspond to one of a school’s 25—or fewer—scholarships a year. Think about it this way: If you had to present a diamond ring the first time you said, “I love you,” how long would you wait to utter those words? “It’s an easier solution than looking at changing the recruiting calendar and visits,” Rodriguez said. “Most of the other issues can be tied directly to that.”

  76. AlphaDawg

dsw61 Greg Poole I read that’s exactly why he was going to go. Anywho, glad he’s sticking with the Dawgs

  77. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole If he doesn’t want to be a Dawg then ND would be a great choice.   Good education and they are not a SEC team.

  78. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole How many of though with Harbaugh attend?  I spotted at least 12 days of multi camps.  It could turn on him if two or more big recruits attend different camps, you know they want to feel “the love”.

  79. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole Nice!  I want to see both Max & Trevor in red & black.   Go get him Max.
