  1. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Bulldawg Bob2 BahitsAgain  my worst injury from being high on pot is heartburn….LOL

  2. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Bulldawg Bob2  If you get a kid hooked on fishing I promise he/she will never have enough money to buy drugs

  3. RumRunnerDoogie

Brooklyndawg Bulldawg Bob2 field yes, track not so much. LSU and UF from what i know still rule SEC track and field

  4. Brooklyndawg

Bulldawg Bob2 UGA knows how to recruit in both men’s and women’s track and field.

  5. Brooklyndawg

Greg Poole Brooklyndawg Weren’t you an Eagle Scout, ALWAYS be prepared???

  6. RumRunnerDoogie

Greg Poole RumRunnerDoogie yalls version of raggae friday differs from mine

  7. Greg Poole

My gallery from the track meet is up. You can view it now by clicking on Hollifield’s picture Elijah Holyfield’s picture at the top of the homepage

Customer service is great but they treat employees like chit. Had two kids and several friends work here in Florida for the. Often with held benefits even though they published them and promoted them to their employees. My son was never n paid for his FLA. And instead had to take a ” Voluntary” leave or risk being terminated for ” excess absence”.

  9. RumRunnerDoogie

its almost 5…so that means raggae friday! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8ULIw0Zgaw

  10. TeeHDawg

Bulldawg Bob2 TeeHDawg George and Glover are very similar.
George is a more dynamic runner of the two while both of there passing is on par with the edge going to glover

Overman has a stronger arm and is a better athlete. Even though he doesn’t have break away speed, I could see him being recruited as a RB if QB doesn’t workout

  11. DawgByte

Bulldawg Bob2 DawgByte Obviously not happy to hear the news about Rivers. He could have been a positive contributor in an area of need. I’m concerned about our DL!

  12. Bulldawg Bob2

TeeHDawg  Bulldawg Bob2  Aye. With Lambert’s final year this season and Robinson transferring coupled with the fact that Ramsey has only 2 years of eligibility left, it would not surprise me to see the staff take 2 QBs in 2017.

Fromm being the primary target and guy for 2017 right now, and then getting a kid like Glover as the second.

Three similar guys to Glover that UGA

UGA has looked at  Brandon George out of Jones, OK and Wayne Overman out of Ocean Springs, MS, but a guy like Glover could add some good depth. Here are Brandon George’s highlights

    Passing 3373 32TD Rushing 1002 15TD – Brandon George highlights – Hudl http://ow.ly/lBHK300b5cM

  13. TeeHDawg

Bulldawg Bob2 TeeHDawg Thanks.  He seems to me like a player that won’t scare away Lawrence if he wants to commit. He would be for depth purposes and could play if we needed.

  14. Bulldawg Bob2

TeeHDawg  Bulldawg Bob2  Reminds a lot of Nick Robinson, the PWO from the state of California that is transferring that came to UGA last year, except Glover is a little faster and more fleet-footed running with the ball.

  15. Bulldawg Bob2

TeeHDawg I don’t know why Glover doesn’t have more D1 offers either. He is a solid player.

That being said, how high is he on Coach Chaney’s board as far as QBs for 2017? That may explain why he hasn’t been offered by Georgia as of yet, but the staff is still evaluating players for 2017 and making offers. It is possible he might get an offer before fall. It maybe a PWO offer though and not a straight up scholarship.

  16. TeeHDawg

Bulldawg Bob2 Afternoon. Hope the wife is doing well. Had a question about Ryan Glover, QB from Woodward earlier today.

  17. Brooklyndawg

BahitsAgain Brooklyndawg Greg Poole I remember the sinking feeling of it seemingly happening more to American racers than to any other country. Maybe because of the TV exposure….

  18. Brooklyndawg

Greg Poole I see extra holding onto the dang ball drills coming up for him. Not a good thing to do with your coaches looking on. Of course, it could have been a bad handoff. How many American Olympians have dropped the baton?

  19. Greg Poole

I have to start processing photos but just a few notes from Jefferson:
Talked to Tucker and Sherrer each for a few minutes. Nothing important just, Hey, How ya doin’?
    Tucker was taping kids himself.
Talked to Holyfield, Mecole, Tutt and a couple of other recruits. Mecole dropped the baton in a relay, disqualifying his team. I may have a shot of it.

  20. Bulldawg Bob2

BahitsAgain Bulldawg Bob2  Hahahaha. Aye. Not saying no one has never gotten injured being high on pot. I just never saw it at the ER.

People are more likely to do stupid things or get hurt when under the influence, but generally, people do way more stupid “stuff” drunk on alcohol than high on pot.

  21. Brooklyndawg

BahitsAgain Bulldawg Bob2 According to my “source” who claims he was was right there in the room with him, Robert stumbled over a chair near the window, he didn’t just decide to jump. Of course, this same source told me unequivocally that DRob was coming to UGA….LOL

  22. Bulldawg Bob2

RumRunnerDoogie Bulldawg Bob2  LOL! Hey man. I’m right there with you. I like my beer and bourbon.

  23. Brooklyndawg

Score Check Easy one….Dumb and Dumber. What a very sad waste of a lifetime.

  24. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole Score Check I hope for his sake, it was some good weed.

    smh, what a waste.

  25. Greg Poole

Score Check I was in Jefferson standing with Radi, J. Reuse, and J. Rowe when that broke. We just shook our heads.

  26. BahitsAgain

MMCSDAWG Bansai buckeroo I have very mixed views.  I don’t like the power that the “war on drugs” has given to the central authority, but I also want some type of taboo to be kept in place that will stop many kids and adults from trying or consistently using various drugs.

Not many things are perfect, and our drug strategies don’t really have a hope nor prayer of ever reaching that plateau.   God help us and those addicted, their family and friends, and anyone that has a negative dealing with someone high on one thing or another.

  27. deltonadawg

Score Check I guess changing coaches did not change some of the behavior of players.

  28. BahitsAgain

Bulldawg Bob2 Well, there is Robert Kimchee and his jumping out hotel windows…..

  29. Score Check

    Bulldawg36
Seriously I hate to see him blow his opportunity.   But he knew what the rule was when he joined the team, but chose to break them multiple times.

  30. Bulldawg Bob2

Yes. I do trust the modern studies.
But I trust my experience in several different ERs more. I save many patients come in with drinking problems who had alcohol poisoning or had been injured in MVAs due to the fact theywould rather drink and drive then make the decision to not drink.
I even saw a couple of people come in with nicotine poisoning.
I never saw one person come into the ER from smoking weed, and no one in the ERs I worked with had either.
Alcohol was the number one drug that was problematic. After that it was meth and heroin.
I didn’t say pot couldn’t be addictive, but pot itself chemically is not as addictive as alcohol or nicotine. With anything else, there are individuals that are predisposed to becoming addicts. Those are the people that could get addicted to pot, but they are just or more likely to get addicted to another vice.

  31. MMCSDAWG

Bulldawg Bob2 Hope the Mrs. is doing better BB2!  let her know we are all praying for her!

  32. Bulldawg Bob2

Checking in from Emory. Hope everyone is having a good day, a good Friday the 13th. Muwahahahahaha

  33. MMCSDAWG

BahitsAgain Bulldawg36 I too won’t get into the legalization of pot…  but I will also add that the Marijuana that is being produced and smoked today is NOTHING like what we used to smoke back in my day.  The natural THC levels of MJ are not anything near what they were back in my day.  The “New” pot farms have used genetic engineering to develop pot now that contains up to 500% more THC/mg than what was most commonly available back in our day.

note:  I just read Bob’s comment while I was reading this.  You are correct Bob.  But, do you really trust the studies that your referencing?  Kind of like those same studies that were done by the tobacco companies back in the day.   The Addictive Personality is the key to any addition.  like I mentioned earlier I have first hand experience with such a person.  My son.

  34. Bulldawg Bob2

Leonard was a good player, I wouldn’t call him a sack master. Who is going to be Georgia’s next Jarvis Jones or Justin Houston.

  35. Bulldawg Bob2

Pot is not as addictive as alcohol, nicotine or gambling, studies have shown this, but as with any other drug or vice, it can be addictive for some that have an addictive personality.

  36. BahitsAgain

Bulldawg36 My biggest gut feeling against legalizing pot centers around seeing people not be able to give it up even when it is massively against their best interest.

It screams to me that it is an addicting drug.  I know people will say that it isn’t dangerous or as dangerous as alcohol, but grief, if you are a full scholarship UGA football player and you can’t put that crap down for 3 or 4 years……SMHS

  37. Bansai buckeroo

Obviously the early stages of dementia are setting in….top what were you thinking?..##

  38. MMCSDAWG

Bansai buckeroo Oh, trust me, I hadn’t read your comment when I posted.  I too believe we spend WAY too much time incarcerating the end users and not nearly enough time, money and/or effort in actually finding and stopping the big fishes.  I have had first hand dealings with Florida’s tough stance on minor drug possession and use.  I have one son that had a serious drug problem, which allowed me to see how our judicial system operates from the inside and believe me it is ugly and ridiculous.  I could spend all afternoon venting my displeasure and disdain for our criminal “justice” system.  It is a joke and lead by politicians that only have a political future to worry about vice someone or anyone that truly wants or cares about the prevention of real crime and the protection of our citizens.

  39. Bulldawg36

Ledbetter…and Rochester better get it together. We don’t need the DL getting any thinner!!!!

  40. Bansai buckeroo

@Chief….Didn’t say I had an argument…just the way I feel… I guess the saying you can’t fix stupid applies here…..

  41. Bulldawg36

Go dawgs!!!! Stop the bleeding!!!! The season needs to hurry up and get here!!!!!!!! Gawd!!!!!

  42. MMCSDAWG

RumRunnerDoogie Bansai buckeroo Said he was also parked in a Handicap zone…  So obviously that argument about Pot not affecting your mental faculties is getting abused in this case.  how freaking stupid do you have to be to be parked illegally in a handicap zone with obviously a large amount of pot in the car (felony).

  43. RumRunnerDoogie

Bansai buckeroo is weed considered a controlled substance? rum yea well sometimes yes lol

  44. Bansai buckeroo

@Rummy….I hope not….I don’t think anyone should go to jail for smoking pot….selling yes…smoking no…jmo

  45. Bulldawg36

Some guys on the Georgia sec rant page would say they would always see rivers downtown high. I didn’t believe it but I guess it’s pretty accurate

  46. Bansai buckeroo

I hate this time of year…why?…because this is the kind of news we get..

  47. Bulldawg36

I guess a small college will take a chance with rivers. Well at least it opens up another scholarship

  48. RumRunnerDoogie

Bansai buckeroo he will be lucky to not face jail time with that felony they charged him with, granted it might get reduced but at the same time its not his first time

  49. MMCSDAWG

” A UGA spokesman confirmed Rivers’ dismissal. UGA’s student-athlete drug policy calls for that after a third violation.”

  50. Bansai buckeroo

I feel sorry for the young man but he obviously has his priorities all wrong……

  51. MMCSDAWG

Bulldawg36 Don’t think there is any doubt…  unless Kirby has changed the student code since his arrival, he is gone!

  52. DawgLink

I know it would not take 3 times to learn my lesson. Amazing how some of these kids think that they are invincible

  53. Bulldawg36

It’s obvious rivers as an addiction to weed. Just very disappointing. Doubt he ever plays another down of football for UGA

  54. MMCSDAWG

Bansai buckeroo Just stupid!  I know this generation doesn’t look at smoking pot as a crime or in a negative light, but when your given an opportunity like he was given and you can’t or WON’T take the necessary steps to take advantage of that opportunity, then do we really want him on our team?  I know I don’t!  I am all about giving guys second chances and I hope Kirby is able to get his message across to these young men in a little better manner as our new HC, but for me, he is done.  Good luck C. Rivers, you were a very good recruit and one I looked forward to watching develop at UGA, but you have not lived up to your own personal end of the deal.  I hope he gets straight and can make something of his life, but I have my doubts.

  55. Red Dawn

You are right. My bad. I thought arrest #2 was after Smart started. I was thinking of Ledbetter.

  56. RumRunnerDoogie

Red Dawn well fairness to smart he wasnt the coach yet after number 2. but yea 3 times in what 6 months? doesnt seem to care

  57. Red Dawn

That’s what I am saying, don’t give them a chance for #3. He should have been gone already.

  58. Hobnailboot aka RobG

I’m all for second chances but this young man obviously could care less, CKS should dismiss him IMHO, He has shown he is not going to stop smoking pot

  59. MMCSDAWG

Bulldawg36 Not sure I would classify L. Floyd as a Sack master…  His stats were pretty ordinary last year for sure.  I think a lot of that had to do with how he was being used vice his abilities, as obviously the NFL scouts saw enough to draft him 1st round top 10…   Look out for D. Walker(Lb) and M. Barnett(DE) and of course we are all hoping that L. Carter will have a monster year.  I think kirby will design more blitzes and personnel packages to get pressure on the QB.

  60. Brooklyndawg

I order quite a bit from Amazon. Their service is hard to beat. And back when they were forced to list all or most alternative prices, for that kind of one stop shopping, they’re hard to beat. I always check EBay though even though rogues do list there

  61. Brooklyndawg

Too bad they were 100% wrong on DRob….lol. Psychologically speaking, you’re right of course.

  62. Brooklyndawg

I had read that he needed a couple of A’s in order to make an adequate GPA for eligibility. Guess that’s where the clearing house comes into the picture.

  63. RumRunnerDoogie

Bansai buckeroo auburn is going to do a satellite camp at alabama state prison im sure

  64. Hobnailboot aka RobG

I’d only do that if there was no chance of me hitting concrete, we would jump off of Browns Bridge at Lanier quite often

  65. Brooklyndawg

I was going to guess it is Arnold speaking in “terminator”, “I’ll be back”!

  66. BahitsAgain

MMCSDAWG BahitsAgain It is a link to this page.   I generated it with a bookmarklet I wrote a couple of years ago.

I just noticed the demo image on the page is broken.  Funny how web stuff gets all messed up if you don’t watch it. lol

    http://bahits.azurewebsites.net/bookmarks/qr.cshtml

It is a cool tool.  I use it to transfer a page I am looking at to my phone so I can text it or email it.

  67. MMCSDAWG

RumRunnerDoogie MMCSDAWG Dawgnation4 TeeHDawg He kept him for a moment, then finally let him go after another incident while at Alabama…  So you know this kid did something pretty darn bad!  No thanks!

  68. RumRunnerDoogie

MMCSDAWG Dawgnation4 TeeHDawg he did keep that one player UGA tossed after his second domestic didnt he? taylor i think

  69. MMCSDAWG

Dawgnation4 TeeHDawg Not happening…  Reports from an Alabama site are there was physical violence involved and if Saban is kicking him off the team, then you Know it was serious.  May not have been reported to the police, but directly to the Athletic department after the A-Day game.  Just what I have read elsewhere.  We don’t need that to win.

  70. BahitsAgain

meant cow containment….  need more coffee!

Site sure is quiet today.   We need a commit.

  71. Frankly

    Greg Poole
That is pretty amazing but I guess understandable given that online has always been their focus.  They are so large that they are setting up their own delivery system and may no longer need UPS, FEDEX or the USPS.

  72. BahitsAgain

btw, no, I have never been foolish enough to wiz on an electric fence, although, I have been zapped by them countless times.

We have used them for 30 years for dog and deer containment and deer deterrent.  I hate getting zapped and can imagine the pain of leak on one.  I heard about people doing this long before youtube.   A story went around my high school – Henry was rural back then – about one of our friends that accidentally did it.   He was mocked endlessly.

  73. TeeHDawg

Greg Poole Watched film on Ryan Glover out of Woodward Academy, why doesn’t this kid have more D1 offers than what he has now? Solid decision making, adequate arm strength, and solid game manager. He may not be that explosive of a duel threat but if we still want to bring in a 2nd QB that a duel threat and miss on our other targets, does he get an offer, preferred walk on, or what? It seems also that Tray Bishop doesn’t want to play QB.

  74. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole MMCSDAWG Yes, I’m not exactly sure what is required of the Clearinghouse either, but I’ve seen it written somewhere that they were involved.

  75. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole Enjoy your trip up to Jackson county!  Spent most summers of my youth 40+ years ago in Jefferson with my grand parents!

  76. Greg Poole

MMCSDAWG IDK if he has to make that step but there was a test of something, right?

  77. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole Imagine that…  Wonder if Kirby can get such a rule in place in Georgia?

  78. MMCSDAWG

ZippyMorocco Me too!   Once he gets his grades I wonder how long it will take the NCAA clearinghouse to make a decision on his eligibility?

  79. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole aka, the suicide ramp.   Jump too hard or not hard enough and splat.

It should be required for all gang initiations.

  80. ZippyMorocco

    Greg Poole
I buy almost everything from Amazon. Their customer service is outstanding.

  81. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole you can often find products you want at cheaper prices either on the manufacturers website or other locations, but the convenience, familiarity and both safety and perceived safety is what has turned Amazon into a juggernaut.

  82. TeeHDawg

Morning guys. Depending on what he was dismissed for or ran off, can he enroll at another SEC institution without losing eligibility?

  83. dsw61

Good to see Robert Cooper featured above. There doesn’t seem to be many elite DTs in Georgia in the 2017 and 2018 classes. I guess it’s still early to tell what the in state 2018 DT talent level will be.

  84. Greg Poole

The Alabama High School Athletic Association has passed a rule that will limit satellite camps in the state – posted above – refresh to see

  85. Greg Poole

Completely off topic but I found this fascinating. This is what Amazon’s sales look  like compared to other large retailers:

  86. UGADAWGII

I note the post from yesterday that UGA is getting a lot of crystal balls recently for Nate McBride.  While I acknowledge that they are often wrong it feels better to have them going UGA’s way than some other.  McBride is the type of recruit that in the past it seemed we lost too often.  I certainly believe that you must “coach them up” but I’m also of the opinion that it is easier to train Secretariat than a plow horse (unless for plowing).

  87. Bansai buckeroo

Yeah…..loss of draft value insurance is something I don’t know how they could determine…just too many other factors could come into play.

  88. Greg Poole

Bansai buckeroo  The premiums do not see that high to me either for the total disability side. That one is clear – if the injury is clearly from football and the player must retire from the sport. However, the loss of draft value insurance has the same premium level and is open to endless litigation to define any loss and value it.

  89. Bansai buckeroo

I guess I don’t think these premiums are high at all considering the payout and high risk of injury in the sport…..

  90. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole With that 5*  rating either Ole Miss or Auburn will gladly take him in.

  91. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole That is like something I would do when I was young and drunk.  Crazy!

  92. Greg Poole

UGADAWGII Early to bed early to rise makes a man…an old dude who is exhausted by 9 PM
