Luda for AD.  He bailed UGA out of another embarrassing PR situation.  Even McGarity’s statement after Luda wad announced was confusing.  UGA reached out to several music contacts,  but Luda was somehow unaware of this until after UGA announced there wouldn’t be music?  So either Luda’s agent/manager didn’t run it by him or UGA didn’t reach out to Luda to begin with. I just dont see how UGAAA can continue to stub their toe like this without the board doing something.

  2. RumRunnerDoogie

BahitsDawg haws1178 PTCDawg more for u. hey at least u upgraded from that icehouse or whatever u had that one time haha

  3. BahitsDawg

haws1178 PTCDawg lol, I got it in a can tonight.  My wife loves root beer but hates beer.  She said she would try it.   She hates it.

  4. Reddawg13

I talked to my contact for Tyler Clark. She said, Tyler is still stoked and the coaches told him the D line needed help. He is doing all his workouts really hard and at the Doctor today weighed 310. They will be here this weekend!

  5. Hobnailboot aka RobG

haws1178 PTCDawg  those things taste like Root Beer without alcohol, would have been dangerous for me as a minor

  6. DawgDaddy

Bulldawg36 Just had ours out for 3 and a half days here in Milledgeville,  we had water for 2 of those days but had to boil it for drinking/cooking.  Wasn’t too bad on us as I had just bought 3 cases of water on Friday so we were in good shape.  Sunday the stores sold out of water.

  7. haws1178

Hobnailboot aka RobG haws1178 y’all might cover it . shunt trip cuts the power supply so you don’t add air to an area they smoke has been detected in and return delays keeps the return fan running for a short time to clear smoke and heat to help with evacuation

  8. Hobnailboot aka RobG

haws1178 Hobnailboot aka RobG  I don’t start school til the fall, I missed the Spring sign up

  9. haws1178

Hobnailboot aka RobG haws1178 they are tie ins with power supply and fire protection. I was just wondering if y’all were covering that part of HVAC

  10. haws1178

Hobnailboot aka RobG haws1178 not sure. It used to be in house guy but they just started subing it out

  11. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Bulldawg Bob2 Hobnailboot aka RobG haws1178  I had to drive the flatbed with the tanks and recovery machine down there to the cotton mill

  12. Bulldawg Bob2

PTCDawg and get ice cold to where there it is not frozen, but ice crystals start to form. Good stuff PTC.

  13. Bulldawg Bob2

Hobnailboot aka RobG haws1178 Dang! And I take it they use a big truck to fill the and recharge the refrigerant on this puppies then. Wow!

  14. Greg Poole

RumRunnerDoogie I understand that to be the case. The whole thing was poorly handled from the PR POV. Actually, it was not handled at all.

  15. RumRunnerDoogie

Hobnailboot aka RobG RumRunnerDoogie haws1178 Ahh so a repair man of more advanced mechs

  16. Hobnailboot aka RobG

RumRunnerDoogie Hobnailboot aka RobG haws1178  Commercial?Industrial Mechanical services…..pumps, boilers, chillers, A/C stuff like that

  17. haws1178

I wasn’t to happy about the school idea but once I started I loved it . we do continued learning sessions I try to get to as many as I can.

  18. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Bulldawg Bob2 Hobnailboot aka RobG haws1178  A LOT!!! heck it holds 3600 lbs of R-11 refrigerant, to put that in perspective your typical house unit holds about 10

  19. Hobnailboot aka RobG

haws1178  yeah they would only give me 2 years credit so I’m a 3rd year, but luckily I’m being paid way more than scale… I’m actually looking forward to getting back in the classroom

  20. Bulldawg Bob2

Hobnailboot aka RobG haws1178 Holy smokes! How much does something like that weigh I wonder? For that matter cost?

  21. haws1178

The job scope changed big for me too when I joined. I learned a lot of new stuff my first 5 years

  22. Hobnailboot aka RobG

haws1178  yeah, I’m getting to work on some really unique stuff. I think I’m really going to like the union too, there are a few perks

  23. Hobnailboot aka RobG

haws1178 I got my first taste of a chiller that requires 4160v to operate… that thing was massive

  24. Greg Poole

Hobnailboot aka RobG Ludacris will be pre-game. Halftime will be short because the TV window is 2 hours.

  25. Hobnailboot aka RobG

RumRunnerDoogie Hobnailboot aka RobG  I wonder if the admin is dizzy from all the about faces they are doing on this situation

  26. RumRunnerDoogie

Hobnailboot aka RobG i would be surprised, its just a spring game so i doubt the half time will be long at all

  27. Hobnailboot aka RobG

RumRunnerDoogie Bulldawg36  well it is only a couple of weeks after spring break, it could be his beach tan ##

  28. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg36 well the roster must be wrong because the only 98 they have is blankenship haha

  29. RumRunnerDoogie

lagadawg well im sure the recruits will like it a lot more than country or some band from the 70s lol

  30. Bulldawg36

Don’t think it will help recruiting much. But I’m fine with the music… It will be ok

  31. lagadawg

For the people that don’t like the idea of Luda playing a few songs.Think what it could do for recruiting after  the recruits post pics of them self with Luda all over the internet. The other recruits that wasn’t there will eat it up.

  32. DawgByte

BahitsDawg I would not advocate such a plan. Two of the three have seen SEC action and as has pointed out we’re not about to risk the franchise QB to some freak G-Day injury.

  33. DawgByte

Greg Poole When you rewind the tape of Chubb’s injury in Knoxville it’s hard to believe he had progressed this quickly. Truly remarkable.

  34. Bulldawg Bob2

DawgByte Bulldawg36 I don’t know. I would like to think not, but you never know.

But no matter who UGA were able to get, there were going to be a certain number of the fan base who just were not going to be happy with it.

Everybody has different tastes in music. Not everyone likes the same thing.

  35. DawgByte

Bulldawg Bob2 Bulldawg36 Hope it’s closer to 2 minutes. I wonder if this selection will turn any off and on to EPSNU?

  36. Bulldawg Bob2

Greg Poole Even though I am assuming ya’ll saw him just run drills, that is still impressive and good to hear.

  37. Bulldawg Bob2

Bulldawg36 In regards to Faton Bauta being given the start in the Florida game last year, that is all pretty much mute then since all but 2 of the previous staff are no longer at Georgia and will not be making those decision in 2016.

The coaching staff will do their best to determine which QB gives them the best chance to win and that is who will earn the start and play. And who starts in the first game could change by the 6th game of the season. We’ll just have to wait and find out.

  38. Bulldawg Bob2

Greg Poole Are we sure there wasn’t a 3rd gunman. Perhaps a lone gunman on a hill outside of the apartment? ####

  39. Bulldawg Bob2

ZippyMorocco MMCSDAWG Sorry to hear about that Zippy. That part of getting older sucks.

  40. Bulldawg Bob2

RumRunnerDoogie Basically anyone that files an open record request may have to wait longer than they did before. It went from the time a entity had to respond to an open record’s request from less than a month to now having up to 90 days.

Keep in mind, that doesn’t mean UGA or any other public institution or entity has to wait the full 90 days to respond to the open record’s request. They can choose to do so sooner.

  41. ZippyMorocco

    MMCSDAWG ZippyMorocco
When I was young I went to a lot of weddings. Now I go to funerals, at least 6/year. He was my SIL’s brother.

  42. Bulldawg Bob2

RumRunnerDoogie I know he and a number of other journalists are really ticked off over the new rule / law. And specifically the AJC.

Keep in mind, UGA coddles the AJC a little too much IMO, or at least they did under the previous staff. Not so sure they are going to get as much love as they used to under the new staff, and they are not happy about it.

  43. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg Bob2 RumRunnerDoogie would be shocked if he doesnt know that. probably just trying to rile people up from his high horse

  44. rugbydawg79

RumRunnerDoogie Bulldawg Bob2 PatriotVeteran Hey RRD just FYI
    Hey old guys,
The SEC Sevens Championships will be live streamed this Saturday, which UGA
has qualified for as the #5 seed.
“Purple Moose media will be our on-site media presence this Saturday. We
have arranged for the live link to be managed directly through our
conference website ( with a copy to be uploaded
to YouTube directly afterwards. Please direct your parents, friends, and
supporters to our site if they are unable to attend in person.”

  45. Bulldawg Bob2

RumRunnerDoogie I think one or two did, but I am surprised he didn’t get blasted over it. He should know that too.

  46. Bulldawg36

If the staff thought so highly of lambert then why did they risk their jobs by starting 3rd string Bauta vs FLA in the biggest game of the season. Lambert may of had a good record as a starter but we beat nobody good last year- heck. Our 10-3 season got richt fired.

  47. Bulldawg Bob2

Bulldawg36 just bring you some ear plugs you can pop in, and you’ll be able to make it through it.

  48. Bulldawg36

Yep. That’s why lambert is the safe pick to win us some ball games. Lol. I just think lambert is just more ready than other guys

  49. Bulldawg36

Zeier and Stafford didn’t start the season as true freshmen and so I think the same will happen with Eason. I think Eason will start by the 4th game but I wouldn’t bet on it

  50. Bulldawg Bob2

Bulldawg36 The music is only going to be for half an hour at most I believe, probably closer to 15 minutes.

  51. PTCDawg

So our QB that was one miracle play in Knoxville of going 11-1 last year is consigned to the trash heap of third team behind one guy that has 74 career pass attempts with 4 TD and 4 Ints, and another guy who has never been on the field of a live college football game and was last seen 4 months ago finishing his high school career in Washington.
    Okey dokey.
Who Kirby starts against UNC has nothing do with what the safe choice is, it has nothing to do with who has the most experience or the best arm strength or who might win the SEC CG. I am quite certain the one and only factor that matters to Kirby Smart as to who will start at QB against UNC, and against every other team is…who does Kirby Smart think gives the Georgia Bulldogs the best chance to win that game.

  52. Bulldawg36

Well he is just an average qb who won’t take over a ball game but protects the ball pretty well….and commands the huddle. It’s his job to lose I believe. If he performs badly I’m sure Kirby will pull him in the Unc game

  53. Bulldawg Bob2

Bulldawg36 You don’t think the coaching staff will go with the QB that gives them the best chance to win?

  54. Bulldawg Bob2

MMCSDAWG In order to see that,  they would have to play an actual game against another opponent. While a scrimmage attempts to simulate game action, there is no substitute to the real thing.

  55. Bulldawg Bob2

BahitsDawg Even if the coaches allowed the QB’s to be hit in a scrimmage, G-Day is still not going to be the same as an actual game. In other words, you risk the QB getting injured without really learning much more about your QB.

You never really know how well a player is truly going to do and react to getting hit till they experience during a regular game when everybody is flying around the field and an opponent isn’t holding back.

  56. Brooklyndawg

It’s fascinating to hear that it appears as if the O-line can do the job, when none of us have seen anything yet. This must be the la-la land so often talked about.

BahitsDawg I said the same exact thing the other day!   I would like to see them in action and by that I mean in Real Game action.  Not green jerseys!

  58. BahitsDawg

Bulldawg36 Hit is one thing.  It is how they are on follow up plays that concern me.  Something rattled that man’s mind in most games last season.

  59. Brooklyndawg

We well know what happens when Ramsey and Lambert are pressured and are hit. So, what’s new there? And you’re not going to risk the franchise by hitting a guy still making HS mistakes. You forgot your ###!

  60. BahitsDawg

Bulldawg36 There you go.  Summer 2015 all over again.  BD36 – GO LAMBERT!  LAMBERTs the  MAN!

I feel like I am suddenly in a time machine.

  61. BahitsDawg

With 3 healthy and competing QBs, wouldn’t it be good to lift their black no contact jersey’s and see how they react after being hit?

We sure will find out game 1 in the spring.   Some guys rise up, and some guys slink.

  62. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg Bob2 PatriotVeteran yea no point in naming a starter with the season so far away, keep up the competition

  63. BahitsDawg

Bulldawg Bob2 RumRunnerDoogie granger35 I don’t have ESPNU, so I will try to stream it.

It would be fun to be there…. and see some Ludacris football!

  64. BahitsDawg

PatriotVeteran He says he still is making a lot of High School style mistakes.   Maybe, he just wants to iron those out before tossing him out there and possibly breaking his confidence.  I believe they will bring the young man along when it is best for him and the team.

  65. PatriotVeteran

Trent Smallwood PatriotVeteran      Good reason and thanks for correcting me.   I don’t have all the good info you have, but I really am out there for UGA.   Hope McBride does well at the camp.   GO DAWG

  66. Bulldawg Bob2

PatriotVeteran Kirby Smart stated that we would see Jacob Eason play on Saturday for the G-Day game in his last post-practice presser.

But they are not just going to give him Eason the job either. They still have summer and fall to battle it out.

  67. Bulldawg Bob2

RumRunnerDoogie granger35 And it will be live streamed on WATCH ESPN as well as carried on the Georgia Bulldogs radio network too.

  68. PatriotVeteran

CKS keeps saying there’s not much difference between the 3 QBs.   If that’s true – why would you wait given Eason a chance to get some experience, from day 1.     He’s going to have to get experience anyhow and yes, he will make mistakes, but Lambert is still making mistakes and so is Ramsey, who is doing the punting.      It appears the Offensive Line can do the job, Jacob can throw the ball long or to TE’s and anyone can hand off to great RB’s, so there’s no doubt, Jacob should be given the chance to lead UGA to an SECe Championship and higher, if the Team can provide both a great Offense and Defense.         I for one, am ready for change, not a repeat of last years “could of been season” when we should have beaten the Gatoraid Team..       Play Jacob and let'[s see how he does in front of 93K.

ZippyMorocco Sorry to hear about the funeral…  Hope the family of the deceased is well and prayer lifted.

  70. Bulldawg Bob2

Bulldawg36 Who do you think is going to perform with Ludacris?

Lucas has a whole line-up of inflatables ready to go for the show ####

  71. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole AlphaDawg Stream using youtube live streaming.  You can do a 24/7 camera or schedule events.  You can have the BI watermark on the bottom right.  For a fee….  lol

Seriously, I set a couple of cameras up for a biz recently and have got their Canon Vixia ready so they can stream classes.   The great things about youtube are; speed and concurrency, free, search and find capability of  people finding your video (google and youtube), automatic archiving of video after streaming ends, “DVR” capability of the live stream for up to 2 hours in the past, and extremely easy embedding of videos on sites.

  72. ZippyMorocco

Glad to see you boys mostly kept it between the ditches while I was gone. I went to Albertville, AL, this morning, then to a funeral in Douglasville this afternoon.

  73. Bulldawg36

Pelzer charges 90$ a month for water no matter how little water you use! 90$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today the water has been out all day because of digging!!!! They are ripping us off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AlphaDawg Greg Poole I see Kirby looking for a new PR person ASAP!  Wouldn’t be surprised if someone new is named as a PR/Marketing head within the next month!

Greg Poole Saddle up our Horse and let’s take him to town!  We got a show pony and he might not have a lot of experience and I’m sure he is going to clip a few gates along the way, but he will make plays that non of the others can or will, so let’s get him out there and get him ready for when we really need him later in the season and Next season!

  76. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole AlphaDawg lol once again, UGA fails miserably at publicly communicating? Say it aint so!

  77. websater

AlphaDawg Wouldn’t surprise me if migos, ace hood, etc come out too. Recruits are going to love this.

  78. CLTDawg

MMCSDAWG CLTDawg Plus it makes this season of “Hard Knocks” that much more entertaining! lol

CLTDawg MMCSDAWG Yes it could!  I only like the Rams because of Gurley and I don’t like the Titans because they are in the same division as my Jaguars.  So, I’m hoping it works out ok for LA and not so good for the Titans, but that sure is a lot of high draft picks the next 2 years!

  80. CLTDawg

MMCSDAWG CLTDawg They must know that Cleveland is targeting the guy that they want, so they had to get in front of them.

They gave up a lot, but if you look at the Rams roster, they have just been a QB away for so long. Their defense and skill positions are in great shape. Just gotta get the guy under center.

On the other hand, the Titans are about to load up on some good players to put around Mariota. Could work out well for both teams.

CLTDawg MMCSDAWG Exactly, me either.  Definitely no Winston in this years draft.  Time will only tell, but I think they gave up way too much to get a project QB.  I could be wrong, but dang,  Couldn’t they have traded into the #3 or 4 slot and gotten one of them for much less cost.

Backwudz MMCSDAWG AlphaDawg When your a person in as high a profile as Percy was in college, yes I believe it makes you a dope head.  Every time you light one up, your not only getting high, but your jeopardizing your future in college and your selfishly effecting the other 84 players on your team.  Let’s see where Treon harris is 2-4 years from now.  Him and Tabor have been busted twice now and that only the times they have been reported.  If your a person that has the opportunity that these young have to better not only themselves, but their families as well and you chose to smoke weed and jeopardize all of that, then yes I classify that as a Dope Head!

  83. CLTDawg

MMCSDAWG CLTDawg Yeah I didn’t think this year’s QB class — at least the top 2 guys — was as good as last year with Winston and Mariota. But now it looks like they’ll be the top two picks again.

Good for the Falcons, and everyone else, though. Moves all the position players back a spot in the pecking order.

  84. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole AlphaDawg Yup well I suppose that’s what happens when a app gets used by professionals when it wasn’t intended to be used in that setting.

  85. Greg Poole

AlphaDawg Yes, it is, but it only benefits periscope. My gripe is that it doesn’t move traffic to the site, at least, it only does so as a secondary benefit.

CLTDawg Goff is already a California boy, so why not go with him…  However, most experts are now expecting them to pick Wentz.  Not sure I would have given up that much for either one of them!

  87. CLTDawg

Big trade in the NFL. So who do you think will be handing the ball off to Gurley in LA in the fall? Goff or Wentz?

  88. ed603

Bulldawg36  Come on, 36…make the city proud of you…start a commit to the P campaign! One day, there will be a sign at the city limits: “Home of Bulldawg 36, great patron of the city, and a DGD!”

  89. Greg Poole

Brooklyndawg  The slogan was not Kirby’s. Another issue resulting from not having a PR office to coordinate the message

  90. AlphaDawg

MMCSDAWG AlphaDawg DawgLink Unfortunate. I know Pruitt is what brought him to UGA, so I would bet Bama, UGA, and Miss/Miss St (home team) will be in play

AlphaDawg MMCSDAWG DawgLink That might have been the initial take…  Pretty sure it was academics and eligibility.  He has offers from almost all the SEC schools now for 2017 Juco…  He’ll be back, maybe not to UGA but he’ll be in the SEC most likely.

  92. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole AlphaDawg It’s great for those quick recruiting chats for beat writers to hold. However, they need to make you capable of filtering bad language.

  93. DawgLink

Did anyone see the SDS article about UGA offering a cb that had left? It would not open for me. Idk who it is

  94. Brooklyndawg

Hmmmmm….interesting. Does CKS not know that the stadium holds less than 93, 000? I see more ammunition for negative recruiting…”The UGA coach doesn’t even know….”

  95. Brooklyndawg

I already did that YOLO. Remind me to distribute ~2000 points if DRib commits here. But he won’t share the spotlight, IMO.

  96. Greg Poole

AlphaDawg  That’s and the fact that periscope does nothing for the site are the reasons I have not used it.

  97. Bulldawg Bob2

BenKellam AlphaDawg Yes. It worked out for him, but he “peed” away a lot of money because of it too. Cost him millions.

  98. Bulldawg36

It’s a long story my friend. Also I just chalk it up to one of the many mistakes I’ve made life already. Lol

  99. Reddawg13

MMCSDAWG Reddawg13 AlphaDawg Okay, I agree, lol! But how does it work and which muscle groups? Btw, you a mess!

  100. BenKellam

AlphaDawg Hopefully grantham sticks there too. Never like lousiville. Now I have a real reason to hate them.

  101. AlphaDawg

Chip Towers doing a Periscope right now answering questions and people are hammering him with inappropriate language. He’s spending more time blocking people than answering questions.

  102. RumRunnerDoogie

i see that Trent Smallwood finally got a avatar to match his 2nd job of mowing at midnight

AlphaDawg Bingo!   Those UF boys are nothing but a bunch of dope heads and have been since Urban was here.  Percy harbin was the biggest stoner of them all!

  104. RumRunnerDoogie

AlphaDawg him or one of the bama guys, cant think of any other 1st wrong corners in the SEC

  105. dawgmum

Dawgnation4 MMCSDAWG dawgmum Probably, but that Kool-aid was just so delicious, I had to give it a shot.

  106. Dawgnation4

MMCSDAWG dawgmum Dawgnation4 I thought about adding the ’16 commit but I think he holds out. I see him wanting the light to himself when he commits and not being overshadowed by other commits.

  107. Greg Poole

BahitsDawg At this time of year it doesn’t really matter, he’ll be good-to-go for fall.

  108. BahitsDawg

Trent Smallwood BahitsDawg PatriotVeteran How bad is his hammy tear?  He made is sound minor, but the kid is tough.  Something that would put most of us in a wheelchair for a month might only be viewed as an inconvenience to him.

  109. Trent Smallwood

BahitsDawg Trent Smallwood PatriotVeteran He had the opportunity to come to Atlanta instead, but had a track meet. Just the dates he had open, that’s all.

  110. Bulldawg36

Sounds about right. I wish a lot less would of showed up… Because hate Clemson- Gard being surrounded by their obnoxious fans

  111. Greg Poole

Bulldawg36  you better get across the bridge into Georgia, where thinking of blowing them up

  112. Greg Poole

BahitsDawg They will not announce 93k because the stadium doesn’t hold that many people. They will announce that it was full and I am confident that it will appear full – therefore, it will be full

  113. Greg Poole

Bulldawg36  BTW – Patrick Garbin was at the Clemson spring game. He tell me that the announced crowd of 55,000 was completely bogus. He estimated the crowd at 30,000. He actually was sitting near 2 Clemson sports information guys and heard one ask the size of the crowd, the other responded, “I don’t know but it’s going to be 55,000”. Sure enough, a few minutes later a tweet listed the crowd at 55,000.

  114. BahitsDawg

Trent Smallwood PatriotVeteran stupid Rivals camp.  It is a conspiracy I tell ya!

Trent, you letting them do that?

  115. Greg Poole

The attendance marks aren’t just a point of pride. It’s all part of the massive recruiting pitch a few bus loads of prospects and families will see. That was a point Saban subtly made last week in a news conference pitch to fans requesting their presence at A-Day.

“That’s something we’ve been really special at,” Saban said. “But I think other people are trying to sort of copycat to their game a big thing so that they can say they had the most people at the spring game and all that. I think it’s important that our fans show that they have just as much interest and enthusiasm for the program as they’ve ever had, and that they continue to come and support the team at this time of year.”

  116. BenKellam

This defensive class, in my very far from expert opinion, seems like it could pretty easily be the best we’ve ever had.

  117. Trent Smallwood

PatriotVeteran He has to go to a Rivals Camp to be eligible for the Five-Star Challenge. That is why he visited last weekend.

  118. BenKellam

AlphaDawg So are they picking tun$il or one of the many no name QBs that will get drafted too early?

  119. PatriotVeteran

Was very surprised to read that Natt McBride wouldn’t be in Athens this weekend, but instead in Charlotte.    Decisions are made for reasons.

  120. PatriotVeteran

Dawgnation4 Reddawg13     IMO, any player should know in their heart if they Want to Play for UGA or not.     If they do, they should end the process of being bothered week after week and do what’s in their heart.      COMMIT TO THE G.     GO DAWGS.

93k GDay would be a great day to show the fans, you’re a DAWG

  121. AlphaDawg

ronaldo77 godawgs678 Did you burn your clothes after? That Bulldog Inn is a little sketchy

    dawgmum Dawgnation4 I like your kool-aid dawgmum!  Little Triple-sec added for flavor!lol

  123. dawgmum

Dawgnation4 I’ll have some of that Kool-aid! How about FIVE Commits this weekend, 3 for the ’17 class, 1 for the ’18 class, and a big one for the class of ’16!

  124. Dawgnation4

Trent Smallwood Dawgnation4 What is your insider gut telling you on commits this weekend?

  125. Dawgnation4

Reddawg13 Dawgnation4 I would love to see Stevens and Gibbs shut it down this weekend. That would be HUGE!!!! but i give that at chance of .05% of both committing this weekend

  126. Reddawg13

Dawgnation4 Reddawg13 Yeah, I was messing with ya! I hope you are right! Great time to be a Bulldog!

  127. Dawgnation4

Reddawg13 Dawgnation4 I dont have any insider information just gut feeling. I think Poole commits, Herring Commits, and then out of left field commit for ’17. For the class of ’18 could be anyone. But I think we will have one from the class to go with Wray

  128. Dawgnation4

BOLD G-Day Prediction for recruiting: 4 Commits this weekend, 3 for the ’17 class and 1 for the ’18 class.

Ill begin to pass the Kool-aid around now.

  129. Reddawg13

Jesse1 Bulldawg Bob2 AlphaDawg Gunna do Varsity on Friday! I try and eat well and keep somewhat of a shape, but I don’t get close often!

  130. ronaldo77

godawgs678 Under. one this weekend and one the next. (No insider information, just stayed at a bulldawg in last night)

  131. Bulldawg Bob2

Trent Smallwood MMCSDAWG Bulldawg Bob2 ronaldo77 Thanks Trent.

I like Abram. He is a good kid and a good player. Hated to hear that he is having to go through that though.

  132. Trent Smallwood

MMCSDAWG Bulldawg Bob2 ronaldo77 He had a sick family member that he wanted to be closer to. Kirby wanted to keep him.

  133. Bulldawg36

Softball dawgs put a whipping on tech!!!!!!!!!!!! That will teach em not to run their mouth!!!!

Bulldawg Bob2 ronaldo77  Good for him, I guess his grades weren’t right and hopefully he’s gotten his academics in order and can come back to the SEC and hopefully back to UGA!

  135. Bulldawg Bob2

The Rivals Network’s Trent Smallwood just tweeted out on Twitter that they had confirmed 39 prospects visiting for G-Day so far.

Going to be huge recruiting weekend for UGA.

  136. Jesse1

Bulldawg Bob2 Jesse1 AlphaDawg 185-190 is the ultimate goal. Not going to be easy though. Wake up hungry. Tough sticking to half a bagel and 1/3 cup of cereal.

  137. Jesse1

AlphaDawg Mercy ruled in five innings. Maybe swearing off mustard  explains the success on the diamonds vs the vermin. Good mojo.

  138. Jesse1

AlphaDawg Bulldawg Bob2 Would be nice to have more than one field stretcher on the field at the same time.

  139. Greg Poole

Bulldawg Bob2  You can bet that CKS has, at least, one hip-pocket commit waiting to be announced in conjunction with G-Day. This regime is extremely conscious of the value of publicity and the motivation provided by a big event.

  140. Bulldawg Bob2

DawgDaddy Man. Oh man. I talked about that with Dawgmum last night. If D-Rob and William Poole were to both pull the trigger this weekend, we might just party on through the weekend through the week till next weekend.

  141. DawgDaddy

Bulldawg Bob2 I would love to see both of those guys commit.  It is exciting time for UGA football right now.

  142. Bulldawg Bob2

BTW and ICYMI last night, Deangelo Gibbs is now coming to Athens for G-Day. Huge news on the recruiting front and battle for Gibbs for Georgia here.

  143. Bulldawg Bob2

AlphaDawg Good about to head out for a morning jog to try to chip away at some of this weight I’ve put on.

  144. Bulldawg Bob2

Greg Poole Hahahaha. Yep. And they sent the Bugs there with bats up their keesters to boot.

  145. AlphaDawg

Bulldawg Bob2 AlphaDawg Morning bob! Sluggish. Had a few drinks last night at a work party making it hard this morning

  146. Bulldawg Bob2

There does seem to be a buzz around some of the prospects I’ve talked to that there are going to be some commitments this weekend. Who they are and how many, I have no idea. I also am not sure if it is just these kids being excited about this weekend or if they actually know something is going to happen.

That being said, I would not be surprised to see Georgia pick up a couple of commitments this weekend.

William Poole definitely is on commit watch.

    So is Demetris Robertson.

  147. DawgDaddy

Colonial Dawg morning cd, I take comfort that he is attending G day.  Were I a recruit who was going to be commiting to another school in a few days I do not think I would be visiting one of their chief rivals  while waiting.

I am hoping for a G day commit.

  148. Bulldawg Bob2

William Poole is a big time high school football player from the state Georgia, and not surprisingly, he has had an offer from UGA since his freshman high school football season. Ever since, the Bulldogs have been recruiting the talented cornerback from the Atlanta metro area, who plays for Hapeville Charter, hot and heavy. So how close is William Poole III to making a decision and announcing his commitment? Pretty darn soon.

  149. Bulldawg Bob2

    Colonial Dawg LOL!

I’m 93.2467 % sure he will commit to UGA between Friday night and May 1st.

  150. Bulldawg Bob2

Don’t forget about the Meet and Greet with Keith Marshall and Malcolm Mitchell on Saturday before the G-Day game at the UGA Book Store.

  151. Colonial Dawg

Bulldawg Bob2 Colonial Dawg I read that but I want some comfort as to him picking the good guys.  I guess I want a guarantee that everybody we go after will play for us!  How’s that!

  152. Bulldawg Bob2

Rickpope2330 You will be able to get autographs from Keith Marshall and Malcolm Mitchell, but not any of the current Georgia players.

  153. Greg Poole

Bulldawg Bob2 Hey Bob. Post the Bookstore ad photo for the signing, please. I’m doing the twitter stuff.

  154. Colonial Dawg

Any feel for what Poole is likely to do?  Are we VERY concerned about the lizards or do we feel he will be a Dawg?

  155. Greg Poole

Rickpope2330  If you mean current players, no.
Mitchel and Marshall will be autographing stuff at the Bookstore.

  156. Rickpope2330

Does anyone know if they will hold an autograph section or a meet and greet at g day?

  157. Greg Poole

crazydawg87 Like all construction jobs, they seem to take forever to get the grading, foundation and utilities right – then poof, the building is up. Right now they are still in the can’t-see-much-progress faze

  158. Bulldawg Bob2

Greg Poole I like the idea as long as schools can keep their traditional SEC rivalry games, which it sounds like they would be able to with what is suggested.

  159. Greg Poole

Whadda you think about this plan for shaking up SEC schedules?
Ditch the divisions and put everyone into the same 14-team pool, or “table” for you soccer fans. Instead of crowning East and West division champions, you crown a “Roy Kramer Trophy” winner for best overall record in SEC play and a “Mike Slive Trophy” for the runner-up. These two teams meet in an SEC championship game. This is simple and orderly and provides more opportunity for the two best teams to meet in Atlanta.Establish five-team permanent scheduling partners for each SEC school. This creates three additional “rotating” conference games without changing the current eight-game conference schedule. Not being bound to divisions provides for lost rivalry games to be resumed while protecting existing ones.
