  1. UGA fan

I don’t care who gets the carries, I want the best players on the field at each position. I will let the coaches decide that. If he is fifth string or first string matters not to me.

  2. Bansai buckeroo

Rummy, I don’t think you can start too early on these kids….they want the attention.

  3. RumRunnerDoogie

Bansai buckeroo least they are from college and not straight from the pros

  4. Bansai buckeroo

I’m with you @Bahits….CBS and yes even Grantham had me exited at one time…. But no more….you are going to have to show me something before I jump on this wagon….

  5. BahitsDawg

RumRunnerDoogie BahitsDawg Greg Poole Bulldawg36 I am thinking the same, but the OL seems to be coming together.  I know we have really good QBs, but only one was a starter and nobody but his family and friends want him as starter….. and CBS….  🙂

I think play calling is still a wildcard, too.  How good will our coaches be?

  6. Bulldawg36

I usually drive 60-70 on the interstate. Just don’t feel comfortable going over 70 anymore. I don’t like that feeling of not having control. I used to be a speeder. Back 2002 I went to fast around a curve and went off the road and down a hill and hit a tree. I tell ya now it was pretty scary

ZippyMorocco Bansai buckeroo Back in the early 60’s my brother and I used to drive our John Deere tractor to the swimming pool.  It was very old then and we probably could have walked the 4 miles quicker, but at our age then, walking just wasn’t cool.  Can’t believe we thought driving the tractor WAS!

  8. Bulldawg36

Maybe mentally.. Because we have beaten them by something like over 100 points combined in like the last 3 meetings. Lol

  9. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg36 kentucky might be able to, they can probably beat mizzou, vandy, and maybe south carolina in the east. Cant be too hard to bounce back how bad they were last year lol

  10. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg36 well everyone down there has jaguars, benz, masaradi, pretty much any car that costs over 50k

  11. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg36 im not to worried about WR after the spring game,  the rising sophomores looked great

  12. Bansai buckeroo

@Rummy… I-285 around Atlanta use to be like that when the speed limit was 55… it’s 65 but you better be in the right lane….haha

  13. Bulldawg36

That’s pretty sad. Some just see driving as a game. If they would of had a couple of major wrecks like me then maybe they would slow down.

  14. Bulldawg36

Grudges are great!! I hold one against every elite player that didn’t choose UGA. Lol

  15. Bulldawg36

Brandon Adams of the AJC said that auburn is his bounce back team. Also said that Kentucky will make a bowl game. Lol

  16. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole Bulldawg36 I watched his highlights last night and was impressed with his balance, power, quickness and speed.   Some of the runs resembled Chubb.

I am feeling a lot better about our RB situation.  Depth is looking a little better, now.

IYO, what are our top 2 weaknesses on offense?

  17. Bansai buckeroo

@zippy.. I enjoy going to the concerts in the square in the summer….Fun time.

  18. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg36 dont go to the boca raton area. if u are going 100 mph on I-95 u will get run over for going too slow

  19. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole Speaking of OSU’s roster management, how is the guy we picked up last year from their mistreatment working out?  How is he looking?

  20. Bansai buckeroo

I have no interest in Tunsil since he didn’t pick Georgia…..Yes I do hold a grudge…haha

  21. RumRunnerDoogie

Greg Poole i dont think he will have any issues in the NFL, he will be around for years

  22. Greg Poole

Bulldawg36  Exactly why “barring injury” is not based in reality and quality depth is important at every position.

  23. Bulldawg36

We will see what Herrien can do. Hope he tears it up. Would like to see a UGA back be very productive for 3 years and stay relatively injury free and not get suspended. But the RB position is highly injury prone just like it is at every school.

  24. Greg Poole

Bulldawg36 Barring injuries and suspensions, UGA might have 2 recent Heisman winners.

Herrien could very well be ahead of Crowder and Douglas by midseason and free Sony to be used in a role that suits him better than  running TB isos. Holyfield and Herrien give the team a couple of TBs that can wear a D down.

  25. Bulldawg36

Barring injury. I don’t see Herron getting much carries his first two years at UGA. He will come in behind-Holyfield . Wilson. Crowder. Douglas. Sony. Chubb.

  26. Bansai buckeroo

What I am looking forward to the most are the shore lunches where the quides fry up what you caught that morning……mouth is watering as I type….haha

  27. Hobnailboot aka RobG

When you go up to Canada this summer make sure you keep some walleye for the table they are fantastic eating

  28. Bansai buckeroo

    @RobG….I’ve been to a couple of practice rounds….just a beautiful course…

  29. Bansai buckeroo

@36….not sure you are talking to me but I’m in Marietta close to Roswell…..35 years now….but have lived all over the city…

  30. Bulldawg36

lol! Even when I was going 50 in the slow lane in Alpharetta they were still pushing!

  31. Bulldawg36

I understand that. I like a medium sized city- not too country and not too city like.

  32. Bulldawg36

For real? It’s pretty rough. People pushing me down the RD. I was trying to site see and I was going under 40…they didn’t like that much. I mean it’s sat! Why are people in such a hurry?

  33. Bansai buckeroo

Since I retired I am more flexible about when I drive. Try to stay out of rush hours. But now it’s pretty bad much of the day…I’m an Atlanta native so am pretty use to it.

  34. Bulldawg36

It’s pretty there in metro Atlanta but I didn’t expect traffic to be that bad on a sat. Lol

  35. Bulldawg36

I drove thru Suwannee…johns creek…Alpharetta..Cumming and Deluth…Lawerenceville!!!! Man the traffic was insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  36. Hobnailboot aka RobG

DawgDaddy Greg Poole  One of these days I’m going to make it to a Masters

  37. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole Haven’t seen that offered at Augusta.    I am happy with the pimento chesse and egg salad sandwiches though.

  38. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole RBs have a short NFL life because of the pounding, KM will always be a DGD.

  39. TtownDawg

I read the article about Brian Herrian on Dawgnation and I must say I’m impressed with him, He seems to be a good kid who knew what he wanted and earned it. I also like the depth that he is going to help with.
