1mandawgpack Greg Poole Me too, definitely a buy!  Might not pay record dividends this year, but UGA is definitely a stock on the rise.  I want to get in now before the base price go up!

Jesse1 Greg Poole And they play them the week before coming to Athens!  This might be the only time in my history of watching SEC football that I wouldn’t mind seeing UF win!  lol

DawgDaddy The worst part is the headache from no coffee or breakfast.  Last July I was in the ER with what I thought was a heart attack late at night.  I was admitted and they did a stress test, but they didn’t get it done until after 3 PM the next day.  I had ice chips and nothing else until then.  Plus I had a nitro glycerin drip which is the headache from hell anyway.  That first cup of coffee was heavenly!!

Morning DDaddy……I’ve learned you have to make those appointments early if you are having to fast…haha. You having any symptoms or just routine exam?

Greg Poole  I’d buy – not for short-term gains, but for long-term potential.  CKS is relentless in his recruiting and work ethic and it won’t take more than a couple of years for him to build the type of depth that he is seeking and to which he is accustomed.  I know he hasn’t coached a single game as a head coach and will certainly have some growing pains, but his teams will arrive prepared and ready to play.  For those reasons, I think UGA is a buy and hold (long-term) stock that will produce substantial gains in the next 3 – 5 years.

Top ‘o the Morn to Dawgs Everywhere!

I am having a chemical Stress Test today at 11:30 so the doctor told me not to eat or have anything to drink other than water this morning. Not having my coffee is awful! That is why I tried to sleep late so as not to have to face not having my cup or 3 of black joe.

rugbydawg79 Greg Poole Jesse1 AMEN! to that one, these past two years have been unbearable!  The last of which got was the nail in the coffin of our previous staff!  #ATD (Attack the day & Attention to Detail)!!!

@Chief …..No whipping….maybe because of my age and the sheer stupidity of leaving a gun where I could find it…. I think relief was the emotion mostly felt..haha

  9. MMCSDAWG

Bansai buckeroo OOOOOOHHHHH….   Did your Butt hurt after your daddy got a hold of you?  My dad caught me messing around with his guns one time, about age 10 or so, I didn’t walk right for a week!

Greg Poole Jesse1 When a team beats you in a close one, and gets pole axed the next week, you’re on the way. “Organized and rattles teeth.” I would add relentless and angry, those could be in the organized catagory. A team. And that is what most of us want to see. Not just the usual collection of great athletes who play when they want to.

Jesse1  Georgia fans should be more interested in how this team plays rather than the record. The key to a successful season, to me, is to see a team that goes on the field 12 times ready to play, looks organized and rattles teeth.
There are weaknesses in the depth chart that could hurt badly with the wrong injuries but effort and talent are not the same thing.
I want to see a team that, if it loses, makes sure the opponent does not want to play it again.

Comment intended a soliloquy rather than a response. 🙂

Greg Poole Stop the press. Special edition coming. Flounders interested in a UGA player? Miracles never cease.

  13. Jesse1

Greg Poole Probably. But, if this squad jells, comes together, and plays like it, who knows? Unbeaten season? Practically impossible. 3 of Bama’s last 4 nattie teams had a loss.

  14. Bansai buckeroo

I did that at age four…Shotgun standing in the corner of the closet. I found it and pulled the trigger. Bansai is a very lucky fella…

And if Georgia were a stock, I’m not ready to buy. Why would you? Kirby Smart might be another Will Muschamp. Or he might be another Mark Richt, who won the SEC in his second season in Athens. And who knows what true freshman Jacob Eason will do at quarterback, provided he wins the job.
Florida has a lot of question marks. Georgia has a lot of questions marks. Tennessee has some question marks, but not as many as the Gators or Bulldogs.
The Vols have built a program that looks great. Now it’s time to produce. And for Tennessee, anything short of an SEC East title would be unproductive.
