UGA FOOTBALL RECRUITING: 2020 Prospects on Official Visits in Athens this Weekend

The University of Georgia is set to host several 2020 prospects on official visits this weekend. Two of the Bulldogs’ verbal commits for the 2021 recruiting class that did not sign during the early signing period back in December will be in Athens.

Offensive linemen Broderick Jones and Sedrick Van Pran have had their official visits scheduled for this weekend for a while now. Joining them will be 2020 UGA offensive line signees Austin Blaske and Tate Ratledge.

In addition to those four offensive linemen, Colquitt County running back Daijun Edwards will be in Athens on an official visit as well as recent 2020 defensive lineman offer Cameron Kinnie and Irwin County athlete DJ Lundy, who Georgia coaches recently visited in-home. Lundy is being offered as a linebacker. Whether or not the UGA coaching staff adds a second running back in this 2020 recruiting cycle remains to be seen, but they have continued to recruit and stay in contact with Edwards.

And there will be a few prospects taking unofficial visits this weekend with the Bulldogs too. IMG Academy, Bradenton, FL junior wide receiver Agiye Hall is one of the 2021 prospects taking an unofficial visit in Athens this weekend.

What about 2020 running back Zachary Evans?

As the Evans recruiting saga still turns…

I’m not afraid to admit that I have no clue, no idea what Mr. Zach Evans is thinking or planning on doing, but there has been a flurry of activity around the North Shore running back again over the last few days. There are rumors of him potentially taking a visit to Athens, but nothing confirmed. I’m taking the stance of waiting to see what happens here. And even then, I would just encourage Dawg fans and those that follow college football recruiting to just wait and see where he enrolls at.
