Throwing sense into this?! Brilliant!! We are going crazy over this drake album! Can we get a countdown clock for it??

  2. Brooklyndawg

Bulldawg Bob2 RumRunnerDoogie They lost again, this time 2-1. Not a good weekend for the good guys and gals.

  3. Brooklyndawg

66DAWGnNC Bulldawg Bob2 I suppose, but if he’s already ruled out ‘Bama, then signing FA papers with them is pointless.

  4. liliverson03

66DAWGnNC liliverson03 lol hey I let it grow for a little while but didn’t want my bulldawg illustrated family to get to riled up about this drake album coming out ha

  5. 66DAWGnNC

liliverson03 Why do you have to ruin a good discussion by throwing out logic into the discussion? Don’t you realize this is Bulldawg Illustrated the most nonsensical discussions on the planet? Unless it is dealing with all things DAWG, then it is the most logical information you will read. BTW – I’m just messing with you.

  6. 66DAWGnNC

Bulldawg Bob2 Probably means the date he is going to sign another one  of those financial aid papers that he has signed with a few schools. In other words, it don’t mean anything.

  7. liliverson03

discussion below about drob 4 29 16 views. He may be referring to the rap artist drake album release day on 4-29. The album is called “views from the 6”

  8. Brooklyndawg

Greg Poole Brooklyndawg Google says that this is a tiny town of 2000. Is it like Pelzer?

  9. Greg Poole

Brooklyndawg In my younger days visiting here we spent some time in Morgantown. Our route is to come north through WV rather than I81. There is not much difference in mileage but WV is a much less stressful drive.

  10. Brooklyndawg

Greg Poole Brooklyndawg I just looked you up, you ARE just a stone’s throw from the WV border. You could easily sneak across the border, get you some home made spirits. Not terribly far from Morgantown either.

  11. Brooklyndawg

Hobnailboot aka RobG Bulldawg Bob2 Who knows, i had heard that the date was later in May. Beyond caring, ‘ya know? The other thing is, with what’s done down so far, would CKS guarantee him a starting job? I think not, but neither would Saban, I’d guess. Hey, maybe he’s going to announce that he’s actually re-openimg his recruitment!###

  12. Brooklyndawg

Greg Poole Brooklyndawg I admit I’ve never even been in the piedmont area, other than quickly driving through, coming from or going to, somewhere else. How far from WV is it, or is my geography way off (I guess I could Google it….)?

  13. Brooklyndawg

Hobnailboot aka RobG Brooklyndawg Bulldawg Bob2 Yeah…..{YAWN}. But this would rank right up there with being Tunsled or Henry’d, even though the circumstances are different, i know.

  14. Greg Poole

Brooklyndawg Garrett County, but, yeah in the mountains about 2 miles from Deep Creek Lake.

  15. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Brooklyndawg Bulldawg Bob2  I’ll just be glad to not hear about his recruitment anymore, I grew tired of it about 3 months ago

  16. Brooklyndawg

Bulldawg Bob2 Rounds 2-3 of the NFL draft? If he ends up with the Gumps, after Carlos saying that they were being dropped from contention, which Saban reiterated, then I for one wouldn’t even want him here. NO MAS, man!

  17. Bulldawg Bob2

To my knowledge, D-Rob is still announcing on May 2nd. Not sure whayt 4-29-2016 means or is either though

  18. dawgmum

JaxDawg He’s got one more week to be the big top story. I’ll bet he’s just milking it for all it’s worth. Still hope he’s a Dawg.

  19. Hobnailboot aka RobG

JaxDawg  Just think how much de-recruiting that kid is going to need……whoah

  20. JaxDawg

True, maybe it’s 247 stirring up things. He posted a pic with the comment “views 4.29.16” I don’t know what that means and I thought that he was deciding on the 2nd, but it just seems weird he would go out of his way to post a pic of his family and saban

  21. 1mandawgpack

Bulldawg Bob2  They lost again by giving up 2 runs in bottom of 6th.  They can’t seem to hold a lead late in the game.  Should have taken 2 of 3 at AU but instead got swept.

  22. Bulldawg Bob2

Anything is possible, but that would not make much sense. Just a couple of days ago he posted a Georgia edit on Instagram

  23. dsw61

Bulldawg Bob2 Thanks for the detailed clarification. The arrest makes more sense now. Still SMH though…the staff works hard to have a successful 93K G-Day game…in order to build positive momentum …and a few days later the Briscoe incident happens.

  24. Bulldawg Bob2

RumRunnerDoogie Yes, and it does seem like they have played more than these 3 games.

  25. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg Bob2 seems like they have been playing them for a while, just 3 game series?

  26. RumRunnerDoogie

time to watch some USA pro rugby :)http://www.aol.com/article/2016/04/22/pro-rugby-week-2-watch-denver-vs-san-francisco-live/21349352/

  27. 1mandawgpack

Bulldawg Bob2 1mandawgpack  Of all the out-of-state DL in Athens, his is likely one of the few that is valid.  Most people I know who had fake IDs always used out-of-state licenses.  I had a fake ID from North Dakota.  If anyone ever heard me talk, it wouldn’t take long to figure out that there was no way I was from any further north than Kentucky and any further west than Arkansas.

  28. TyDawg

Bulldawg Bob2 I sure am glad all the hard criminals are locked away and we can start arresting college students for not wearing their seat belts and having an out of state license. I feel like I can safely walk the streets now.

  29. Bulldawg Bob2

1mandawgpack I wouldn’t say there is virtually no way for LE officials to verify your address and how long you have been living at said address. There is a lot of information they can pull via their computer, but it all hinges on how accurate the records in the system are.

But I agree that the law is goofy and shouldn’t result in an arrest and trip to jail. At most a ticket and a fine that can be reduced if you go get your DL before the court day in traffic court.

  30. 1mandawgpack

Bulldawg Bob2  The law is the law and can’t be refuted.  That said, there is virtually no way in most instances for an officer to verify/validate if someone with an out-of-state license is a Ga. resident and if so, for how long.  One of my co-workers originally from FL (who has lived in ATL for almost a year) was pulled over for speeding a couple of weeks ago and was also given a citation (not arrested) for driving on an out-of-state license.  Had she elected to, she could have informed the officer that she was in town for a temporary work assignment, visiting a friend, etc. (i.e., still a resident of FL) and there would have been no way for him to verify it.  That’s why this law is so goofy and why Briscoe should have been ticketed and not arrested.  I’m fine with arrests for violent crimes (i.e., domestic violence) or instances whereby someone else can be injured (i.e., DUI), but this one makes absolutely no sense being anything other than a citation.  Obama is releasing prisoners with long, non-violent wrap sheets (i.e., drug dealers, etc.) and law enforcement in Athens is arresting people for seat belt and drivers license infractions – yet another sign of how messed up the world we live in has gotten.

  31. Colonial Dawg

CLTDawg Colonial Dawg I remember several years ago when Prado first came up to the majors.  He played MANY positions.  He was asked one day what his favorite position was.  He said “lineup”.

  32. CLTDawg

Colonial Dawg CLTDawg It’s impossible to not like Prado. Plays the game the way it should be played. I’m happy most Braves fans recognize it, too. He gets a nice ovation every time he comes back to Turner Field.

  33. Colonial Dawg

CLTDawg Colonial Dawg  I do agree.  I’m not really predicting 38 wins this year.  And they do have some real talent in the minors.  I really hope they can be competitive next year and really good by ’18.  I used to go see the Richmond Braves several years ago.  It was fun seeing Martin Prado and those guys in AAA.  Martin was one of my favorites.

  34. DawgDaddy

DawgLink me too, I don’t remember ever hearing out of state students talking about having a Georgia DL back in the day.

  35. CLTDawg

Colonial Dawg Yep, everyone wins 54 and everone loses 54…it’s what you do with the other 54 that separates the good and bad teams. Bravos will eventually call up some of the fantastic talent they have in Gwinnett and Mississippi and start to win some games down the stretch after the division is out of hand. They’ll win somewhere between 60 and 67 games.

  36. Hobnailboot aka RobG

If I did I believe I’d just throw my pole in the water, don’t care how much money I’d be out

  37. DawgLink

I have been under the impression that an out of state student at college was still a resident of their original state. I mean their cars are still registered to their state with that state’s tag. Pretty silly to me

  38. Colonial Dawg

Switching gears a little bit, I have always heard that a major league baseball team is going to win 1/3 of its games no matter how bad it is, and lose 1/3 no matter how good it is, it’s what they do with the other 1/3 that determines their season.  I believe the Braves (on pace to win 38 games this season) are going to challenge that rule this year!

  39. Bulldawg Bob2

Well drat. Georgia men’s tennis team lost to Gators 4-2. Next up NCAA Tournament.

  40. CLTDawg

Bulldawg Bob2 Studying for my last law school final ever…which feels miserable and great at the same time, lol.

  41. Bulldawg Bob2

OK. I have talked with several Georgia LE officers this morning, 1 Gainesville city, 2 ACCPD, 2 from Hall County, and 1 from GA State Patrol, as well as checked the GA law on driver’s license.

If you move to Georgia from another state, you have 30 days to apply for and get a valid GA Driver’s license. You cannot legally drive on an out-of-state license after you have lived in Georgia for more than 30 days. To do so, if you get stopped, you can be charged and ticketed with a misdemeanor, arrested and go to jail.

Personally, I think the law needs to be changed for out-of-state college students, but this is a source of revenue for the DMV; so, I don’t see that happening.

I asked if they would have just given Briscoe a ticket and not arrested him, and they said it depended on the circumstance, and how long they had been driving on the invalid out-of-state license; but, all 6 said they would have arrested Briscoe due to the  fact that in over 90 days. All of the LE officials also said if you did let an individual go and they got in a wreck and hurt or killed someone before they got a valid GA driver’s license, then the officer could be held liable and their job would be in jeopardy

  42. Bulldawg Bob2

RobDawg  Don’t know, but I did check with a couple of officers that I go to church with; and they said, if you get stopped and don’t have a valid driver’s license, it is a misdemeanor charge/ticket, arrest and trip to jail in the state of Georgia.

  43. RobDawg

Man after my own heart. I once officiated at a state youth league swim meet at GT natatorium and had to be on deck all day and you know I wore red shorts, white G game day polo, and red and black sandals loud and proud. Some guy told me I had some nerve wearing that and I just smiled…

  44. websater

CLTDawg Colonial Dawg looks like he had a maryland drivers license, not a GA one. this whole thing stinks.

  45. CLTDawg

Colonial Dawg From what I’ve heard, it’s the first situation. He doesn’t have a license at all. And I agree, it’s a bit much. Give a big ole fine. Have him do community service or whatever…but booking him and putting him in jail? Cheese and rice!

  46. CLTDawg

Jay212033 Ever since the “party school” crack down a few years back, I can’t even begin to count the number of good kids, with bright futures who have a criminal record that they wouldn’t otherwise have for the same behavior at other schools. DUI, serious drug offenses, etc…yes, throw the books at them…but underage drinking, small possession charges, something like Briscoe’s? Give them a fine, a citation…but not jail time and a permanent mark on their records.

  47. Colonial Dawg

One thing I didn’t know was whether Briscoe just didn’t have a license and drove anyway or whether he just didn’t have his license on his person and (OMG!) didn’t buckle his seatbelt.   Either way, ARRESTED????   You have go to be kidding me!

  48. 1mandawgpack

Bansai buckeroo  I made a comment on here a few weeks ago (after Ledbetter got arrested for having a fake ID) that the various law enforcement agencies in and around Athens seem to take great pride in arresting athletes and was berated a bit for it.  I stand by my statement as the above incident seems to help once again prove my point.  I know that the men and women in blue have a difficult and often times thankless job, particularly in a city like Athens where a large number of residents are university students who do stupid things at times (I know I did while I was there).  I don’t have a problem with arrests for DUI, domestic violence, etc. given the potential for harming others.  However, the above incident (and the Ledbetter incident) should have resulted in the issuance of citations and nothing more.  I don’t see any need or justification for an arrest in either situation, unless there’s more facts involving the matters that haven’t been released (e.g., verbal or physical provocation of an officer, etc.).

  49. MMCSDAWG

Simply ridiculous. This happens no where else in college football. The rivalry between law enforcement and uga has to end. It almost borders on discrimination and definitely harassment. One of our prominent attorneys should look into these types of cases. I would like to see comparisons to other jurisdictions and is there a bias when football player involved. 9 out of 10 regular people get cited and released at the scene. No arrest 99.9% of the time. I personally support law enforcement and don’t like the negative light in which recent affairs nationally have effected them and the public opinions of Leo.

  50. DawgLink

Head coach made a poor choice in pulling Chelsea on Friday night. Brittany Gray did not heve great control. It cost a much needed win. Now yesterday was a complete different story. We were never in that game.

  51. DawgByte

Bansai buckeroo Way over the top. If I was Smart Briscoe would run stairs for not having a license and that’s it.

  52. DawgByte

Greg Poole Excellent, more turmoil in their program. I don’t want to see these guys become resurgent.

  53. Bansai buckeroo

I have never heard of anyone getting arrested for not wearing a seatbelt and not having your drivers license…..ticket…yes. Arrest is over the top imo..

  54. DawgByte

Bulldawg Bob2 I heard Bruce likes hanging out roadside bathrooms in the state of North Carolina!

  55. DawgByte

    Good morning lads!

Somebody needs to put a leash on the Clarke County Police. Arresting Briscoe for not wearing a seat belt and driving without a license. Really?!!! I realize it’s against the law to drive without a license, but they most likely pulled him over, because they noticed he wasn’t wearing a seat belt. Tell me they don’t have better things to do!!! Ridunkulous.

  56. Jay212033

This could be why kids may not want to come to UGA! Definitely a deterrent for parents wanting to send their child from out of state smh! Just ridiculous!

  57. Score Check

    Greg Poole
MusChump is just one “late hit out of bounds” call from a major stroke.

  58. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Blakedawg01  that’s even worse IMO, it will  likely get dismissed, assuming his license is valid

  59. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Good Morning Dawg Nation!!!ACCPD is being extremely petty, booking someone for not having their license on them. SMH, guess he is bitter about CMR

  60. DawgDaddy

Bulldawg Bob2 DawgDaddy  Morning Bob, you are doing a great job of holding down the fort! haha

  61. Bulldawg Bob2

RobDawg  Aye. The one  arm power clean scares me more than the throw it to yourself and catch it though.

  62. Bulldawg Bob2

Greg Poole  Yep. I know a lot of people that get a ticket at most for driving without a license. The only time you hear or see a person being arrested over it is if they have committed another moving violation or crime.  But according to the DawgNation article, they were minor misdemeanor traffic violations; so, who knows.

  63. Greg Poole

    Colorado State spring game

After a slow start, Bauta got turned around, finishing 16-of-29 for 203 yards and three TDs, with one interception.
Of spring ball, Bauta said: “The biggest part for me was gaining this team’s trust and respect. I don’t know if I did that. I hope I did.”
Bobo said Stevens and Bauta remain “co-No. 1” quarterbacks, and part of that still might be the CSU coach’s desire to challenge and prod Stevens. But Bauta, who had only one start in his four seasons in the Georgia program, seems to have scraped off rust during the spring.
“I believe he’s going to get better and better, the more reps he gets and the more opportunities he gets to play football,” Bobo said.

  64. Bulldawg Bob2

Greg Poole  On it boss man. Save travels and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do 🙂

  65. Bulldawg Bob2

Greg Poole  Briscoe getting arrested for having no license bugs me, if it was just not having a license. A couple of months ago, I was in a minor fender bender where a car behind me wasn’t paying attention and rear ended my truck. No one was hurt, but there was enough damage that I needed to call it in … plus one of the occupants of the other vehicle was saying their neck hurt. Come to find out the person driving didn’t have a license, but the officer on the scene just let them go and didn’t issue a citation for driving without a license!!!

  66. Greg Poole

Getting ready to head North. You guys have to get some commits done this week. Sorry, but someone has to do it, BOB!

  67. Bulldawg Bob2

Both the Georgia men’s and women’s tennis teams are playing for an SEC Championship today at noon. They both play very good Florida men’s and women’s teams.

  68. deltonadawg

I guess some things have not changed, https://www.dawgnation.com/football/georgia-cornerback-arrested-on-misdemeanor-traffic-charges
