TODAY’S FEATURED PROSPECT: Luke Griffin

Luke Griffin is a four-star offensive tackle from North Murray High School in Chatsworth, Georgia. He stands at 6-5 and weighs 275 pounds. According to 247Sports Composite Rankings, Griffin ranks as the No. 34 offensive tackle and the No. 41 prospect in Georgia. He holds just 2 offers on 247, but Griffin tells me that Alabama recently offered him.  Griffin committed to Georgia on June 11, 2016.

I spoke to Griffin about his commitment to Georgia and what the future holds for him.

Luke Griffin Interview:

Q: I know you been committed to Georgia for a while now, but can you tell me what you think of the school and the coaches?

A: “I think it is a great school academic wise and it is in a great area, out in the country. It’s a very beautiful and gorgeous campus. The coaches are great people and great coaches very down to earth and outgoing.”

Q: Are they still recruiting you hard to stay committed? What are some things they say to you?

A: “They aren’t communicating with me hard and haven’t been for a while now so it’s hard to know what they’re saying.”

Q: Are you planning on visiting there any time soon? Or anywhere else?

A: “Umm, I’m not planning on visiting UGA any time soon because I can’t get in touch with them. I have been about visiting other places just haven’t yet.”

Q: Where are you thinking? Any offers recently?

A: “Nowhere in particular and yes Florida and Alabama.”

Q: How solid is your commitment to Georgia?

A: “I don’t want to answer that.”

Q: Do you plan on doing any camps this summer?

A: “Umm, I’m not sure yet.I’ll have to see if I get released from my injury first.”

Q: Do you plan on signing in December or February?

A: “February.”
