Three Georgia singles players and one doubles pair received NCAA individual bids, announced by the NCAA Wednesday night.

Caroline Brinson, Ellen Perez and Kennedy Shaffer were each selected on the singles side, a 64-player bracket, while Perez and partner Mariana Gould will be one of 32 pairs in the doubles bracket.

Perez, who reached as high as third nationally in singles this season, claimed the No. 5 seed in the bracket. Brinson and Shaffer each received at-large bids.

The pair of Perez and Gould received an at-large bid and is ranked 13th in the latest ITA rankings.

Perez, Brinson and Shaffer were Georgia’s three All-SEC selections after the regular season, with Perez being named to the first team and Brinson and Shaffer claiming second team honors. Shaffer and Gould enter postseason play after being named to the SEC All-Tournament Team for helping lead the Bulldogs to the championship match.

The singles and doubles competitions will begin on May 25 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after the conclusion of the team championship. Georgia is seeded fifth in the team bracket and will play host to North Florida, Wake Forest and Baylor next weekend starting on Friday, May 13.

Tickets for the Athens Regional are available for $5 for adults, $3 for children/students and free for children age 2 and under. The tickets will be on sale via georgiadogs.com until May 13 at 8 a.m. All sales after that deadline will take place at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
