With very little fanfare, University of Georgia football received its first commitment for 2021 when Bralyn Oliver announced via Twitter his decision shortly after 1:00 p.m. EST early Thursday afternoon.

Oliver is a 6-foot-2 and 190 lbs defensive back prospect out of Belton Honea Path High School in Honea Path, SC who received an offer from the Bulldogs back in June.

It’s early for 2021 prospects, but 247Sports rates the junior a 3-star and the No. 27 safety, the No. 6 player out of the state of South Carolina, and the No. 544 recruit nationally. Rivals also rates Oliver a 3-star prospect but have him higher by position as the No. 15 safety and the No. 3 player out of the state of South Carolina.
