  1. Lucas Rogers

Joe Dawg Lucas Rogers Need Aubrey. DT class in Georgia is not very deep this year

  2. Joe Dawg

Lucas Rogers Joe Dawg  I got to see Aubrey Solomon from Lee Co. play last year. He is pretty high on my want list too. Very good player. I think the Bulldawg Nation will love Xavier Jenkins also. He is a Freak of a player! Sammy Watkins type player.

  3. Joe Dawg

Lucas Rogers Joe Dawg  I was just thinking about CA and AT is very impressive watching his highlights! Plays ANGRY!

  4. Lucas Rogers

Joe Dawg Lucas Rogers solid choice. I’ve got about 3. Cam Akers, Jacoby Stevens, and Andrew Thomas

  5. DawgDaddy

Lucas Rogers TtownDawg DawgDaddy lol, just wandered in to see what is happening,  4 hours huh?

  6. RobDawg

@Greg Poole lets just hope Kirby doesn’t get nostalgic and want to bring his era helmet back…

  7. Patbob

ZippyMorocco Greg Poole That was mine as well, I was sitting on the 50 yard line in the aisle and the play happened right in front of me. Great memories!!

  8. dsw61

PTCDawg  I’m hoping another big difference is how the QBs are coached. I’m encouraged by the talk from Kirby about wanting the QBs to be more mobile. Chaney teaches his QBs that 60% of throws are movement throws, so that is also a good sign. A QB who is given the okay to break the pocket and scramble or just run if the defense gives him the room, should play with a higher level of confidence and be more effective.

  9. TeeHDawg

Afternoon guys. Been looking at the depth chart and wondering if Shakenneth Williams if he is firmly down the depth chart could move to FS. Not sure if he is physical enough but he certainly has the size and could provide depth there. I think he does play a good bit a WR this year though.

And Shaquery Wilson. I know he is settled on RB and was moved there for deoth, I think he should move to S and he would probably be the best athlete there. He was originally recruited as a DB( Pruitt has a good eye there) . I think its his best position.

  10. RumRunnerDoogie

Bansai buckeroo well u can go back to drinking that natty light then, u old timers handle liquor like a high schooler ##

  11. Bansai buckeroo

Rum is for wanna be pirates and little girls..##… And Alpha sends me a check directly…don’t need no stinking middle man….haha

  12. RumRunnerDoogie

MMCSDAWG RumRunnerDoogie living in FL u cant be a alcoholic, as long as u go out on a boat or at the beach haha

  13. RumRunnerDoogie

godawgs678 ZippyMorocco RumRunnerDoogie MMCSDAWG i miss that guy, the only guy ive ever seen where the back pad didnt cover his full back lol

  14. MMCSDAWG

Oh, meant to mention it this morning.  I see our kick-off counter has gone by the wayside.  Can’t say I miss it much! lol  Put it back up when we get inside 30 days!!!

Second, How is BB2 and the wife doing?  If he’s posted an update the past couple of days I’ve missed.  If your out there Bob, know we are thinking and praying for you and the Mrs.!!!!

  15. godawgs678

ZippyMorocco RumRunnerDoogie MMCSDAWG I hear ya. Now we just need Leonard Pope to come back for another year…

  16. MMCSDAWG

PTCDawg Still a game won at the LOS!!!   I want C. Chandler too, kid from Jeffereson!

  17. PTCDawg

While I disagree with most about the difference between this staff and the last staff, the following is where I do give KS all the credit, and why I think he is taking us to the top….
Andrew Thomas, D’Antne Demery, Netori Johnson, Max Wray, Jamaree Salyer
    Let’s giter done!

  18. ZippyMorocco

    godawgs678 ZippyMorocco RumRunnerDoogie MMCSDAWG
    I picked according to height.

  19. godawgs678

ZippyMorocco RumRunnerDoogie MMCSDAWG Don’t forget Harris (He REALLY impressed me in the Spring game), Chigbu and Stanley. I’m loving it. We’ve gone from having a bunch of undersized Receivers, to having some big ol’ boys who give us options.

  20. AlphaDawg

godawgs678 When he signed he was listed as a TE. I hope he’s used more as a WR bc we’ve got plenty of talented TE’s

  21. ZippyMorocco

    RumRunnerDoogie godawgs678 MMCSDAWG
Woerner, Wims, Blaze, and Nauta would be a nice red zone formation.

  22. RumRunnerDoogie

godawgs678 MMCSDAWG RumRunnerDoogie the good thing is in the red zone teams will most likely have to have a safety over him which opens up the run and other routes. But for that to happen he has to show teams he is a threat

  23. RobDawg

Exactly mismatch is the key. And with his speed he is WR candidate for sure. Will be a formidable weapon

  24. godawgs678

MMCSDAWG RumRunnerDoogie I don’t care what this kid plays. If he can move the chains and be a mismatch in the Redzone get him the ball! He is massive. Thinking about him lining up outside against a 5’10, 180 lb CB does make me rather giddy.

  25. MMCSDAWG

godawgs678 RumRunnerDoogie Could be like the big guy from Texas A&M a few years ago…  Mike Evans.  And possible someone like Randy Moss, ever see Randy, he is a big guy not a skinny WR.

  26. dsw61

RumRunnerDoogie dsw61 Yep. They also have Will Taylor who is a very good center, Owen Pappoe who is a freak, and Chase Brice who is a solid QB.

  27. MMCSDAWG

DawgDaddy Lucas Rogers +1000,  last time I heard that we won a NC!!  Please Larry, talk to the man upstairs and get us another one !

  28. godawgs678

RumRunnerDoogie godawgs678 I mean, there’s big WR’s and then there’s this kid. You’re right. He looks like an OLB/DE. Kid is gigantic. Whatever happens, he’s going to be a mismatch in the redzone for sure. I’m not good at judging speed by HS tapes because all the good athletes make the other kids look slow, but he does look like he has some legit speed to him.

  29. Frankly

dsw61 Yikes.  Its amazing that we were able to do as well as we did on defense with anemic offensive numbers like that.

  30. RumRunnerDoogie

godawgs678 the kid looks like a DE. but big WRs have made a living so he could be the next

  31. godawgs678

So I just saw a picture of Woerner from his track meet the other day. GOODNESS! talk about a barrel chest and strong looking kid. Originally it was states he was going to be a WR. Correct me if I’m wrong, but he seems much more suited for a TE/WR hybrid role. This kid just seems way too big to be able to stretch the field as an all out WR.

  32. RumRunnerDoogie

DawgDaddy Greg Poole ND helmet is just gold…using that logic  any one color helmet is awesome

  33. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole I have never understood the love for the ND helmet nor Bama’s but the Michigan helmet is butt ugly to me.

  34. BenKellam

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole Hes a good 36 spots above the 4* guy going to Clemson and 16 above hockman.

  35. RumRunnerDoogie

dsw61 thats a foundation for a college team class right there, let alone a high school team

  36. BenKellam

Greg Poole Microphone guy must be in on it. He dumps them off the table at the end before he brushes the tabletop.

  37. RumRunnerDoogie

Reddawg13 Greg Poole thats a part of the job i miss, the feeling of knowing u have saved a life is literally the greatest feeling ever that i cant explain. It greatly impacts more than not being able to save a life

  38. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole This isn’t Europe and we aren’t currently paying our athletes 30+ million a year to be in the premier league.   Not sure I can agree with this one.  how much more cheating and corruption will take place when there is a ticket to the power 5 on the line for said college…

  39. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole Interesting list…  Note Calab Chandler ranked 10 or so spots above T. Gray at OT.  I’ve like this kids skills for a while, do get him out of Jefferson and bring him home Pittman!  I like seeing Fromm ranked the top QB in the state!

  40. Greg Poole

1Dawg under God  I’m not sure what can be done if parents/guardians actually live in the attendance zone

  41. Lucas Rogers

dsw61 he was there last night watching their spring game, but a lot of guys from Newton were.

  42. MMCSDAWG

Reddawg13 Greg Poole Great job Red and the rest of you great citizens!  Unlike those I saw online @ 11Alive where a person had collapsed on a sidewalk and no one attempted to help, they only rummaged through his pockets looking to steal from this person!

  43. dsw61

hearing chatter that Kurt Taylor is transferring to Grayson. Is that new news or old news? First I’ve heard of it.

  44. Reddawg13

Greg Poole Reddawg13 I thought this man was going to die. We were never able to dislodge that food as hard as we tried. The CPR may have saved his life. He had turned purple and was totally limp. Many of us worked on him until the EMT’s arrived. The EMT’S forced his mouth open with forceps and reached way down and got out the food. Intense!

  45. Greg Poole

Reddawg13  Excellent! I had a friend back in the day who died in a restaurant because he aspirated a piece of steak.

  46. Reddawg13

Well, last night I ended up giving the Heimlich to a man choking and then helping do CPR on him. He did leave with EMT breathing and had his color back, sure hope he is okay today.

  47. Reddawg13

    Bulldawg36 YUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  48. MMCSDAWG

RobDawg They gave up 645 yds rushing to Baylor, a team starting their 4th string QB due to injuries in the bowl game…

  49. Bulldawg36

I’m part of the dawg nation that’s considered the lunatic fringe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  50. MMCSDAWG

RobDawg That’s been my point when predicting this game all along.  They could not stop the run or the pass, their defense ranked toward the bottom of all P5 schools in numerous categories.  If we can survive the initial butterflies and not make any stupid mistakes early, I expect us to wear them down with our running backs and TE’s…  Then plow the field with them in the second half.  Eason starts the game and is brought along similarly to the spring game, run the ball and quick short passes to TE’s, Rb’s and slot.  once the initial butterflies subside, let him loose and put this one away early in the 3rd quarter.  The only area of concern is can our defense limit their offense?  I believe kirby and mel will get the job done here and UGA wins handily in the dome.

  51. RobDawg

I liked what I heard though that they gave up huge amounts of yards rushing in their losses with over 400 yds in those games. We need to pound them early and often and RTDB

  52. Greg Poole

Lucas Rogers I think that is a given (some underclassmen leaving). I think I counted only 14 seniors on the roster

  53. Lucas Rogers

Greg Poole godawgs678 Lucas Rogers That’s how many I think we take. Don’t have that many spots though so some current players will have to leave.

  54. Greg Poole

godawgs678  I asked Lucas Rogers  about that yesterday – I think he said 28ish

  55. godawgs678

Do we know about how many kids we can take in this year’s class? I’m assuming it will be larger than ’16.

  56. Lucas Rogers

Greg Poole Lucas Rogers Demery most likely will this summer, Stevens also. And Jeremiah may end up pulling the trigger soon too.

  57. Lucas Rogers

Greg Poole Lucas Rogers nothing really at the moment. Holloman will be in town this weekend. UGA leads with him so hopefully they can increase the lead.

  58. dawgmum

I’m going to be gone for the weekend, so I’m leaving @http://www.livefyre.com/profile/31506641/ in charge. Get some recruits up in here already.

  59. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole I think Gus from that list but I really believe that should Booch not come through on all of those promises he has made with a SECE championship, he may be shown the door himself.  CMR was fired for not winning it in 2 favored years, this will be his 2nd in a row.  Just sayin’.

  60. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Yeah because the more people with a say the quicker it goes….. YFR! That stands for Yeah F****** Right

  61. DawgDaddy

dsw61 I agree, best friends almost always trump cousins, unless of course your cousin is your best friend.

  62. DawgDaddy

DawgLink I really want him but somehow I think we will be fine either way.  I trust CKS.

  63. Bulldawg36

Only really 3 tough games. Oklahoma..Wisconsin…Michigan st. They have Jim Harbaugh at home. So that should be a problem after the way they whipped em last year.

  64. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole Not sure i agree, but it has merit theoretically, let’s see how it works in real-time games.

  65. Greg Poole

Barnhart thinks collaborative replay will speed up the game:

    * The more people involved, the better the percentages of getting the call right. Getting it right, after all, is the No. 1 goal. When you put it all on one guy in a replay booth, the percentages of getting it right simply aren’t as good.
    * Getting more eyes involved will speed up, not slow down, the process. It’s quicker to bounce what you see off another person. A single person in a booth is more likely to freeze up under pressure or not trust what his eyes are seeing.
    * The best replay officials get to see all of the plays. Let’s be honest: Not all replay officials are made equal. The SEC will put its best people in the command center.

  66. Bansai buckeroo

Packing and airports…..worst part about vacations. And is it really a vacation when you are retired? Haha

  67. MMCSDAWG

Hobnailboot aka RobG Indeed and they all started from scratch with a totally new Offensive staff and system, so any advantage that the others might have had in prior experience in the system is negated.

  68. MMCSDAWG

Hobnailboot aka RobG Heck yeah!  only about 15 or so more to go until it GAME ON!

  69. MMCSDAWG

dsw61 Me too…  best way to avoid repeating last year is to be ahead of the chains and not behind them.  3rd and 3 or less is much higher success rate than 3rd and 6+.  Pretty sure Kirby will let Chaney do his thing and won’t be nearly as restrictive or “sacred” as CMR was with Schotty last year!

  70. dsw61

In 2015, Georgia’s third-down conversion rate, was 119th in the nation (31.0 percent). Only four Power Five schools were worse. For some context, in the previous three seasons, Georgia finished ninth, 56th and 17th in the nation in conversion percentage.

I’m looking forward to an improvement in the third-down conversion percentage this season with Chaney and Pittman.

  71. dsw61

Greg Poole All I can say is that the dugout atmosphere in girl’s fastpitch is a lot different than the dugout atmosphere in baseball.

  72. Bansai buckeroo

Dang I have to pack today…. I would almost rather have a fork to the eye….hate it…

  73. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole Like they don’t have anything more important to concern themselves with!  NCAA is a joke, how about we get rid of them??

  74. dsw61

Greg Poole I’ll be going to a lot of Grayson Rams games this year! Already told my daughter to get me tickets for the IMG game when they go on sale.

  75. dsw61

Greg Poole I like that Breon Dixon is his best friend. Most people have more of a connection with their best friend than a cousin. You can’t pick your cousins, but you can pick your best friends.

  76. Greg Poole

ZippyMorocco Unfortunately, there is no entrance exam for posting stuff on the web.

  77. ZippyMorocco

    Greg Poole
He doesn’t know much about football. It is impossible to throw for 5000 yards and only 15 TDs.
