TODAY’S FEATURED PROSPECTS

Jermaine Burton

CLASS: 2020

POSITION: WR

HT, WT: 6-1 193

SCHOOL: Marietta

CITY, STATE: Marietta, GA

STATUS: Undeclared

# OF OFFERS: 16 offers

UGA OFFER:  Yes April 22, 2017

NEWS:

Jermaine Burton is a four-star wide receiver from Marietta, Georgia. He’s 6-1 193 and runs a 4.43 forty-yard dash. According to the latest 2020 rankings, he ranks as the No. 111 overall player, the No. 21 WR and the No. 15 prospect in Georgia. Burton currently holds 16 offers with the latest coming from Penn State on May 20. He’s one of the few underclassmen that got selected for Nike’s The Opening finals in Texas. Burton scored a 108.96 and posted the highest underclassmen ratings in the Atlanta regional.

A one time Miami pledge, Burton de-committed from the Hurricanes on May 13. He visited Georgia for the G-Day game and appeared to have a great time. I expect him to be back on campus this summer sometime and to make a decision by the end of the football season. He and Nolan Smith are tight and good friends so I expect him to get recruited hard. His decision appears to be between Miami and Georgia, and after the praises he sang about the Bulldogs after G-day, it may turn out good.
