Grayson High School’s outside linebacker Owen Pappoe released his top 10 schools on Sunday, and the Georgia Bulldogs are among those he named, as one of the top prospects in the class of 2019 has begun narrowing down the list of programs who have made him an offer.

Georgia is among six SEC programs that Pappoe has listed in his top 10 which include Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, and Tennessee. Two ACC programs, Clemson and Florida State are among his final ten candidates. The other two schools that are included are Nebraska and ohio State. Those 10 programs come from a pool of over 40 scholarship offers that Pappoe has received, and he still has 2 years of high school football left to play.

247 Sports has Owen Pappoe ranked as one of the top players in the state of Georgia for 2019 currently and the No. 1 outside linebacker in the country. As a rising sophomore, he made Nike The Opening Finals. This year, the 6 foot 1 and 210 lbs Pappoe was named the linebacker MVP at Nike The Opening Regionals in Charlotte as he turned in a 4.57 second 40 and 4.09-second 20-yard shuttle along with a measured 38.8-inch vertical. That was part of the reason he racked up over 90 tackles and seven sack for his sophomore season last fall for Grayson.

The talented rising high school junior has most recently visited Florida State on April 29th, a week after he took a visit to Georgia for the Bulldogs G-Day spring football game on April 22nd. Back in March, Pappoe visited Clemson for the Tigers’ Junior Day. Pappoe is still over a year from making his final decision as he is planning to announce the summer before his senior season, but the good news for the Bulldogs is that making the ten team cut gives them a chance.
