IMG Academy’s defensive end Robert Beal has announced his commitment to the University of Georgia.

Beal is a 6 foot 3 defensive end prospect who is ranked as a 5-star recruit by ESPN and 247Sports who was previously committed to Notre Dame. Since backing off of his commitment to the Irish Dame, Beal listed UGA, Alabama, Florida State, Texas, Miami, Tennessee, and LSU as his top 7.

Robert Beal also previously attended Norcross High School, the same high school as current UGA standout Lorenzo Carter, but recently announced that he would play his senior season at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Beal is a huge addition to this class and is listed as one of the best pass rushers in the country.

quite impressive, especially those highlights in the Georgia Dome.  You know he was going against some quality opponents.
