Justin Benton is projected as a class of 2023 strongside defensive end from Covington, GA (Newton High). At 6-3/245, Benton will continue to develop and grow as he navigates his high school career. Although he is not currently rated by 247Sports or Rivals, there is little doubt that he will be a highly rated recruit when his class becomes the focus of attention. In fact, he already has about 20 offers as he heads for his sophomore season.
Benton’s father is Phillip Benton who played at UGA from in the mid-90s.
