Michael Mayer is a four-star tight end from Alexandria, Kentucky. He’s 6-5 240 pounds. According to 247Sports latest 2020 rankings, he ranks as the No. 5 TE andthe No. 2 prospects in Kentucky. Mayer currently holds 16 offers with the latest coming from Georgia on June 15. Texas offered on June 14. He visited Notre Dame on June 9, Penn State on June 5, and Michigan on April 14. According to his 247Sports profile Notre Dame and Ohio State each holds 50 percent of the advantage. However, he fits the mold of what tight ends Georgia likes. If the Bulldogs get him on campus, he could turn into a highly sought after prospect.

Elijah Yelverton is a three-star  tight end from Dallas, Texas. He’s 6-5 225 pounds. According to the latest 247Sports 2020 rankings, he ranks as the No. 8 TE and the No. 43 prospect in Texas. Yelverton currently holds 14 offers with the latest coming from Arizona State on June 20. Iowa State offered on May 30, Kansas State on May 18 and Michigan on May 9. Georgia offered on May 2. Last season, he had 35 catches for 360 yards and five touchdowns. His recuitment is wide open and I expect him to take a lot of visits this fall. Georgia’s right in the mix of it and if he continues growing, he could be the next big tight end for the Bulldogs.
