CITY, STATE: Santa Ana, CA

NEWS:

Elias Ricks is a five-star cornerback from Santa Ana, California. He’s 6-2 180 pounds. According to the latest 2020 247Sports rankings, he ranks as the No. 19 overall player, No. 2 cornerback and the No. 5 prospect in California. Ricks currently holds 25 offers with the latest coming from Michigan on June 7. Georgia offered on March 3. Since then he received offers from LSU, Alabama, and Auburn. His recruitment appears wide open, he did at one time say he wanted to play in the SEC. Georgia appeared in the lead for a while, but now it seems he wants to stay on the west coast. USC holds 100 percent of the lead on his 247Sports profile, but once Georgia gets him on campus that just might change.

NEWS:

Dwight McGlothern is a 2020 four-star cornerback from New Caney, Texas. He’s 6-2 and weighs 166 pounds. According to the latest 2020 247Sports rankings, he ranks as the No. 33 overall player, the No. 3 CB, and the No. 2 prospect from Texas. McGlothern currently holds 14 offers with the latest offer coming from Oklahoma on May 2.  Georgia offered him on April 24, 2017. He hasn’t been on campus but it wouldn’t surprise me if he didn’t make a visit happen this summer for camp. On his 247Sports profile, LSU holds 67 percent of the advantage while Texas A&M holds 33 percent. However, I think this is wide open and will be until the end of his recruitment.
