Georgia Takes No Prisoners, Signs No. 1 Recruiting Class on First Day of Early Signing Period

Trey Hill, Justin Fields, Kearis Jackson, and Zamir White - Kirby Wants you RAREBREEED2018 edit by Bob Miller

After the dust settled on the first day of the college football’s new early signing period on Wednesday, Bulldog fans were dancing in the streets as Kirby Smart and Georgia signed the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, at least for the moment, because we aren’t quite done yet.

There are still two more days left to go in this early signing period, Thursday and then Friday, and then the traditional National Signing Day on the first Wednesday in February, which happens to be the 7th this year. But regardless of how you look at it, UGA is sitting at the top of the heap with the No. 1 recruiting class for 2018.

The Bulldogs signed 18 players on Wednesday including flipping cornerback Nadab Joseph from Alabama, and no less than nine of those 18 will enroll early at UGA in January. Georgia then received a commitment from Spring Valley High School linebacker Channing Tindall as the first day of the early signing period winded down. Tindall is one of five prospects who are currently verbally committed to Georgia but have not signed their National Letter of Intent as of yet. Here is a list of Georgia’s 2018 college football commitments and signees including rankings and links to highlight videos.
