Shortly after 8:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Saint Thomas Aquinas High School’s Elijah Moore announced his decision to commit to the University of Georgia.

Moore is a class of 2018 wide receiver out of the Fort Lauderdale, FL area who has over 33 scholarship offers. He chose to commit to the Bulldogs over the University of Miami, Ohio State, and Ole Miss. His commitment gives Georgia 10 and is the first WR to commit to the Dogs for the 2018 class.

The 5 foot 10.5 and 170 lbs Moore is rated a three-star prospect and the No. 50 WR for the Class of 2018 by 247 Sports; however, ESPN, Rivals and Scout rate Moore as a four-star prospect. Both ESPN and Rivals consider Moore a top-25 WR prospect and he makes the top ESPN 300 and Rivals 100 recruiting list for 2018.

So what kind of player is Elijah Moore?

His size coupled with his athletic ability and speed will remind you of former Bulldog receiver and return specialist Isaiah McKenzie, but he is a more polished WR at this point compared to McKenzie coming out of high school. Moore will also remind you of current Georgia WR/return specialist Ahkil Crumpton. He has the potential to be a very dangerous kick and punt returner in college and is the kind of dynamic playmaker that could be a matchup nightmare working out of the slot.

His highlight tape says it all.
