Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

RumRunnerDoogie I think he is going to be a guard – they want Catalina to be able to hold that spot.

I’d have to go back and look. I am not sure the page was saved from when we switched servers, but the results should still be at ESPN.
Don’t feel bad. I didn’t do that hot either

Bulldawg Bob2 RumRunnerDoogie man i got killed in the pickem lol. didnt bham or midtown win last year?

  4. Avon Barksdale

Not that this is super relevant right now, but I really think that will be one of the best DLs in the nation next season!!

  5. Bulldawg Bob2

Avon Barksdale  I don’t know if 317 is his exact weight because the official roster heights and weights are not always 100% accurate, but he is definitely north of 300

  6. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg Bob2 RumRunnerDoogie yea we seem to have a good bit of new people who will probably join too

  7. Avon Barksdale

Was just thinking about that the other day and totally agree. Hawkins and Ledbetter’s development will be big!
Seriously though is Carter legitimately 317 pounds???

  8. Bulldawg Bob2

RumRunnerDoogie Hey, you interested in doing some fantasy football like we did last year?

  9. Bulldawg Bob2

RumRunnerDoogie Aye. If you look at experience, Atkins has 20 games under his belt with 3 starts followed by Thompson with 12 games and 6 starts and Hawkins with 10 games and 2 starts.

Several questions regarding some of the Tweets I have posted regarding the official scholarship offers today.

Schools cannot “officially” announce that they have offered a prospect until that prospects senior season per NCAA rules.

I went and looked back at the rules regarding social media, scholarships and what schools and coaches are allowed to say and state.

So, we will start to see more of these “official offer” graphics and tweets for the class of 2017 prospects from the school even though technically they have already received an offer.

Greg Poole  He has put on some good muscle weight. Would like to see closer to 300, but I’m not going to complain. He plays bigger than his weight.

Looking at Georgia’s d-line depth, specifically DT,  it’s not bad, but it is a very young group. Biggest thing when you look at it is that with the numbers, Georgia cannot absorb a lot of long term injuries to the DTs. Hopefully, that group will stay relatively healthy for the season.

Some pretty good players though for Coach Tucker and Coach Rocker to work with.

    No. 97 John Atkins – NT – JR  (6-4, 300 lbs)
    No. 76 Michail Carter – DL – FR (6-3, 317 lbs)
    No. 52 Tyler Clark – DL – FR (6-4, 309 lbs)
    No. 96 DaQuan Hawkins – DT – SO (6-3, 302 lbs)
    No. 78 Trenton Thompson – DT – SO (6-4, 307 lbs)
    No. 5 Julian Rochester – DL – FR (6-4, 327 lbs)

tmdawg12   Me either. That Ole Miss game will be interesting seeing Dukes on the opponent’s side of the ball.

Greg Poole That click feature really works well here, 2 clicks and you can see the brace in good detail.

Based on Kirby’s comment on Natrez Patrick as well as his teammate’s comments about him and his commitment to work hard and lose the weight the coaches wanted him to … he was already fast playing at 248. I cannot wait to see him attack the gap and run side line to side line at 228 lbs.

  16. Bulldawg Bob2

WillieWalden  Aye. Dude is ripped and definitely looks the part of an SEC running back.

Bulldawg Bob2 Greg Poole RumRunnerDoogie  You can hear Jake Reuse and I trying to suppress laughter during the Q and A

Greg Poole RumRunnerDoogie  I was about to ask if you knew who asked the question.

I could have sworn someone asked something similar during the spring, but cannot recall.

Bansai buckeroo  I caught my first Walleye fishing for trout on Lake Seed up in the mountains of NE Georgia, and no pun intended, got hooked on them.

Fun fish to catch as it puts up a fight and it is very tasty to eat as well.

I imagine the Walleyes up there are bigger and that camp looks awesome. Hope you have a blast man and catch your limit.

RumRunnerDoogie Greg Poole  Nope – TV guy but I didn’t know him. All of the TV stations from several markets show up for the opener – most will not be back
