TODAY’S FEATURED PROSPECTS

If position ranking is noted, it is 247 Sports latest composite ranking of the player.

WARREN MCCLENDON

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: OL – No. 26 OT

HT, WT: 6 foot 4.5 and 287 lbs

SCHOOL: Brunswick High School

CITY, STATE: Brunswick, GA

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 11/29/2016

# OFFERS: 20

NEWS & NOTES: Warren McClendon has over 20 scholarship offers and one of those is from the Bulldogs, who offered back in November 2016. There is over a year to go until NSD 2019, but it will be a battle for the UGA coaching staff to keep the talented offensive lineman from Brunswick in the Peach State. However, don’t count out Coach Pittman and the Dogs here. Right now, I would say heading into 2018 that it is a three way battle between Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina, but both Auburn and Clemson are also have offers to McClendon and will be factor.

HARRY MILLER

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: OL – No. 9 OT

HT, WT: 6 foot 4, and 310 lbs

SCHOOL: Buford High School

CITY, STATE: Buford, GA

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 06/14/2017.

# OFFERS: 22

NEWS & NOTES: Buford High School turns out a number of talented college football prospects each year and 2019 offensive lineman Harry Miller is no exception. The Bulldogs offered the OT over the summer back in June. Miller also took visits to both Alabama and Clemson over the summer, and he was able to visit UGA during the fall. So far, Miller has over 22 scholarship offers, and both Auburn and Clemson are earlier favorites.

Big question for Miller is he better suited to play tackle or guard at the collegiate level.

WANYA MORRIS

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: OL – No. 7 OT

HT, WT: 6 foot 5, and 295 lbs

SCHOOL: Grayson High School

CITY, STATE: Loganville, GA

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 03/14/2017.

# OFFERS: 21

NEWS & NOTES: The Georgia coaching staff offered Wayna Morris last spring in March, and the talented Grayson offensive tackle ended up announcing his decision to commit to FSU in April. As I have said with other 2019 prospects, especially those that are committed elsewhere, National Signing Day 2019 is over a year away and college football recruiting is a marathon. Not a spring. He has since de-committed from the Seminoles, doing so on Nov. 26th.

Morris did visit UGA during the fall for the Mississippi State game on Sept. 23rd, and I do believe the Bulldogs currently lead for him. Auburn, Florida, and LSU are all recruiting Morris hard and have offered the Loganville, GA native. Even though he de-committed from FSU, that does not mean the Seminoles are out of it fro Morris.

MYLES HINTON

CLASS: 2020

POSITION: OL – No. 2 OT

HT, WT: 6 foot 5.5, and 315 lbs

SCHOOL: Greater Atlanta Christian High School

CITY, STATE: Norcross, GA

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes.

# OFFERS: 14

NEWS & NOTES: Myles is the younger brother of 2019 offensive lineman Christopher Hinton (who is currently committed to Michigan). Myles is considered to be one of the top OT prospects in the 2020 recruiting class and as such, he already has 14 FBS scholarship offers, including one from Georgia. The talented GAC sophomore is right at 6 foot 6 and 315 lbs and looks like he should be a college freshman O-lineman instead of playing varsity high school football. He’s only going to get bigger, stronger, meaner and better, too.

If his brother Chris stays committed to Michigan and signs with the Wolverines, then I expect them to be an early favorite for Myles, but with over two years till NSD 2020, it’s best to let his recruitment play out and not get overly concerned at the moment.

TATE RATLEDGE

CLASS: 2020

POSITION: OL – No. 5 OT

HT, WT: 6 foot 5 , and 275 lbs

SCHOOL: Darlington High School

CITY, STATE: Rome, GA

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 05/25/2017

# OFFERS: 6

NEWS & NOTES: Tate Ratledge is another talented 2020 Peach State offensive line prospect. He has put on approximately 20 lbs and 1.5 inches since his freshmen season. He has played at TE, DE and OT his first two seasons at Darlington High but has played more on the D-line and O-line this past year. Tate visited UGA this past spring in April and the Georgia staff offered after evaluating and visiting with him just before the beginning of summer on May 25th. He then camped at UGA in June and was back in Athens over the fall for Georgia’s homecoming game weekend for the Kentucky game on Nov. 5th.

The Bulldogs are considered an early favorite here, but Tate also have offers from Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

PAUL TCHIO

CLASS: 2020

POSITION: OL – OT

HT, WT: 6 foot 6, and 320 lbs

SCHOOL: Milton High School

CITY, STATE: Alpharetta, GA

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 07/21/2017.

# OFFERS: 2

NEWS & NOTES: When you see Paul Tchio, it is hard to believe he is just a sophomore in high school. He is a full 6 foot 6 and 320 lbs, which is just right up Kirby Smart and Sam Pittman’s alley when it comes to O-linemen. The Georgia coaching staff offered the big man out of Milton High School back over the summer on July 21st, and he made his way to Athens during the fall for the Mississippi State game on Sept. 23rd.

The University of Alabama, Louisville, and Maryland have also offered Tchio but UGA has the distinction of being the first to offer the Milton High prospect.
