NEWS & NOTES: Cook listed UGA in his top 8 and visited the Dogs on April 8th. He de-committed from FSU on July 4th. Just a few weeks later, he was back in Athens with his family during the weekend of July 22nd. Cook is still a heavy Georgia lean and is expected to decide between UGA and FSU when he makes his final decision.

NEWS & NOTES: UGA offered Joiner back on May 2nd and he put UGA in his top 12. But the Mountain Brook back named Michigan State his leader on June 28th and in his top six he released on June 30th, he listed Alabama, Auburn, Michigan State, Southern Cal, Texas, and UCLA. No Bulldogs, but Joiner’s recruiting is wide open at the moment and it is hard to pin down where he actually might commit.

NEWS & NOTES: Lawrence hasn’t publicized a lot of his offers, but Georgia offered the talented tailback sometime back in 2016 along with Alabama and several other major FBS programs. In a number of interviews he has stated that Bama and UGA are his dream schools because of the history of their running backs. Alabama, Clemson, North Carolina, Tennesse, and UGA could all be potential landing spots for the low key prospect.

NEWS & NOTES: Pierce visited UGA for G-Day back on April 22nd, and about a month later, he de-committed from Alabama on May 18th. Dameon is undoubtedly one of the top RBs in the Peach State for 2018. After he de-committed from the Tide, it looked like he might make his way to Athens with Zeus, but he is leaning towards the other school in Alabama… the Barn. He just came off a visit with the War Eagles on July 22nd.
