Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

PapaDeaux’s is close…..haven’t been there in years though. Next time….:-)

Bulldawg36 Some Tenn boards think Gibbs is all Vol and Georgia has no chance. I think JR Reed’s commitment helps Georgia. Gibbs has recently described Jake Reed as being like a second father. I also think Breon Dixon being Gibb’s best friend helps Georgia. Don’t be surprised if Gibbs plays WR at Grayson this season; like he mostly did last year at Peachtree Ridge. Will probably play DB against IMG though.

  3. JaxDawg

Yea 1 safety and 2 cbs. We are taking 4 cbs and 2 safeties. Stevens is a safety and Gibbs and jamyest/AJ for the other spot. That’s what I’ve just read

  4. RumRunnerDoogie

JaxDawg i just dont see taking that many DBs unless stevens goes to WR. we already have what, 3 DB commits?

  5. JaxDawg

I hope so! Fingers crossed we get one of jamyest or AJ though! Jamyest is solid man, he’s the real deal. He will be making headlines wherever he goes

  6. PiKappDog

Henry’s Louisiana Grill in Acworth has really good Hot Chili Gator. It’s an LSU hangout though.

  7. JaxDawg

We need to land the guys first! Jamyest and AJ got recent cbs to other places. I’d be happy with Stevens Gibbs and one of AJ and jamyest

  8. Bulldawg36

Goooooood night!!! All you lil doggies!!!! I’m about to head to bed!!!!! Need all the sleep I can get before the baby gets here in September!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. DawgDaddy

Bansai buckeroo Jim Shaw’s in Macon has some good blackened gator.  IIRC so does PapaDeaux’s in the ATL.

RumRunnerDoogie DawgDaddy Can we do a trips wide using our monster Tight Ends ? I imagine Coach Chaney is having visions

  11. rugbydawg79

Bansai buckeroo we had season tickets from the beginning – He was Mr. Falcon back in the day – as #57 Jeff Van Note was later – both should be in the Hall of Fame

  12. Bansai buckeroo

Rummy…I love calamari… I’m going to have to give it a try if I see it on a menu… I guess it’s served in Atlanta somewhere…

  13. RumRunnerDoogie

Bansai buckeroo its like calamari, cooked right its amazing and if not..tastes like rubber

  14. Bulldawg36

Yep….see…chickens & gators are nothing but every day meals!!!! I hate em!!!!!!!

  15. Bansai buckeroo

I remember when I think John Glenn was in orbit and he transmitted something about how he hoped Nobis would go to The Dallas Cowboys….. 🙂

  16. DawgDaddy

granger35 I still think he earned his way in.  Playing on those Falcon teams was a cruel twist of fate for Nobis.

  17. RumRunnerDoogie

DawgDaddy i just dont see how he will not grow bigger into a TE predominately..if not now. Tight end Charlie Woerner: No. 89, listed at 6-foot-5, 249 pounds

  18. MMCSDAWG

Me too buck. I wore #60 and played lb my entire HS years! He might have went to Texas but he was my dog!

  19. RumRunnerDoogie

DawgDaddy big dude “Defensive tackle Michail Carter: No. 76, listed at 6-foot-3, 317”

  20. Bulldawg36

My brother is at Daytona beach eating some gator bytes!!!! That’s what the dawgs gonna do this year!!! Eat some gators!!!!!!!

  21. granger35

Bansai buckeroo Yep, he was the only player the Falcons had on defense and no team could keep him away from the ball carrier.

  22. Bansai buckeroo

Ran from side line to side line….in on almost all the tackles as I remember it.

  23. granger35

Bansai buckeroo Tommy Nobis, best lb of his day, too bad he played for the expansion Falcons, he should be in the HOF if he isn’t.
