PapaDeaux’s is close…..haven’t been there in years though. Next time….:-)

  2. dsw61

Bulldawg36 Some Tenn boards think Gibbs is all Vol and Georgia has no chance. I think JR Reed’s commitment helps Georgia. Gibbs has recently described Jake Reed as being like a second father. I also think Breon Dixon being Gibb’s best friend helps Georgia. Don’t be surprised if Gibbs plays WR at Grayson this season; like he mostly did last year at Peachtree Ridge. Will probably play DB against IMG though.

  3. JaxDawg

Yea 1 safety and 2 cbs. We are taking 4 cbs and 2 safeties. Stevens is a safety and Gibbs and jamyest/AJ for the other spot. That’s what I’ve just read

  4. RumRunnerDoogie

JaxDawg i just dont see taking that many DBs unless stevens goes to WR. we already have what, 3 DB commits?

  5. JaxDawg

I hope so! Fingers crossed we get one of jamyest or AJ though! Jamyest is solid man, he’s the real deal. He will be making headlines wherever he goes

  6. PiKappDog

Henry’s Louisiana Grill in Acworth has really good Hot Chili Gator. It’s an LSU hangout though.

  7. JaxDawg

We need to land the guys first! Jamyest and AJ got recent cbs to other places. I’d be happy with Stevens Gibbs and one of AJ and jamyest

  8. Bulldawg36

Goooooood night!!! All you lil doggies!!!! I’m about to head to bed!!!!! Need all the sleep I can get before the baby gets here in September!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. DawgDaddy

Bansai buckeroo Jim Shaw’s in Macon has some good blackened gator.  IIRC so does PapaDeaux’s in the ATL.

  10. rugbydawg79

RumRunnerDoogie DawgDaddy Can we do a trips wide using our monster Tight Ends ? I imagine Coach Chaney is having visions

  11. rugbydawg79

Bansai buckeroo we had season tickets from the beginning – He was Mr. Falcon back in the day – as #57 Jeff Van Note was later – both should be in the Hall of Fame

  12. Bansai buckeroo

Rummy…I love calamari… I’m going to have to give it a try if I see it on a menu… I guess it’s served in Atlanta somewhere…

  13. RumRunnerDoogie

Bansai buckeroo its like calamari, cooked right its amazing and if not..tastes like rubber

  14. Bulldawg36

Yep….see…chickens & gators are nothing but every day meals!!!! I hate em!!!!!!!

  15. Bansai buckeroo

I remember when I think John Glenn was in orbit and he transmitted something about how he hoped Nobis would go to The Dallas Cowboys….. 🙂

  16. DawgDaddy

granger35 I still think he earned his way in.  Playing on those Falcon teams was a cruel twist of fate for Nobis.

  17. RumRunnerDoogie

DawgDaddy i just dont see how he will not grow bigger into a TE predominately..if not now. Tight end Charlie Woerner: No. 89, listed at 6-foot-5, 249 pounds

Me too buck. I wore #60 and played lb my entire HS years! He might have went to Texas but he was my dog!

  19. RumRunnerDoogie

DawgDaddy big dude “Defensive tackle Michail Carter: No. 76, listed at 6-foot-3, 317”

  20. Bulldawg36

My brother is at Daytona beach eating some gator bytes!!!! That’s what the dawgs gonna do this year!!! Eat some gators!!!!!!!

  21. granger35

Bansai buckeroo Yep, he was the only player the Falcons had on defense and no team could keep him away from the ball carrier.

  22. Bansai buckeroo

Ran from side line to side line….in on almost all the tackles as I remember it.

  23. granger35

Bansai buckeroo Tommy Nobis, best lb of his day, too bad he played for the expansion Falcons, he should be in the HOF if he isn’t.

  24. Bansai buckeroo

In high school I wanted and wore #60 after Tommy Nobis….the number can be very important to these kids……

  25. DawgByte

dawgmum DawgByte Greg Poole It’s Friday afternoon and the wine is flowing! LOL!

  26. DawgByte

Greg Poole I wake up every morning have a cup of Java and do this routine with my Yo-Yo!#

  27. DawgByte

Greg Poole Mind blowing. Incredible skill!!! One of the best to ever put on a UGA uniform.

  28. 1mandawgpack

JessCapel MMCSDAWG 1mandawgpack Greg Poole  I have a TV in a really nice covered area under my back yard deck and my wife banishes me to that area during all UGA football games, so I resemble that remark.  All my neighbors’ kids can cuss with the best of them at school after learning all sorts of inappropriate language during college football season from that crazy man who lives next door.

  29. JessCapel

Greg Poole JessCapel Rights to Rocky Top?…guess no help there either, most would rather have a root canal than hear that oldie but baddie.

  30. Greg Poole

1mandawgpack Carter delayed until “the weekend”. There are seval cadidates for the other commit. Just fyi, I think July will end with 4 minimum.

  31. JessCapel

MMCSDAWG 1mandawgpack Greg Poole And I will support the decision too as long as it’s Eason, otherwise, I’ll impotently yell at the TV until he is inserted.

1mandawgpack MMCSDAWG Trent Smallwood I know..  I hope it’s Holliman.  I have no inside knowledge and I will be happy with Carter and Thomas!  Anything else would be icing on the cake.

  33. 1mandawgpack

MMCSDAWG 1mandawgpack Trent Smallwood  Thomas is definitely committing Sunday, I was just trying to figure out who the other 2 might be as Carter has mentioned delaying his commitment (not sure for how long) and who the 3rd might be (there has been a lot of chatter about Holloman recently, but it could very well be someone else).

1mandawgpack MMCSDAWG Greg Poole Me too!  I will support whomever is our QB 100%!   like I’ve said many times now, i have absolutely nothing against Lambert and I really appreciate what he done for us so far!  And hell, Bryce might be the wild card in this competition for all we know!  I know Bobo loved him. I’m just ready to get his party started!

1mandawgpack Trent Smallwood That would make for a Great weekend.  I just don’t trust that Holliman is done with his recruiting!  He seems to enjoy the limelight too much to commit now!  But, if he wants to play at UGA he better get on board quickly!

  36. 1mandawgpack

MMCSDAWG 1mandawgpack Greg Poole  I have complete faith that the coaches will start and play whichever QB gives us the best chance to win on a weekly basis and will support that young man (and any other of our QBs who might get playing time during games) fully.

BahitsDawg RobDawg That’s why I prefer the NFL combine type vertical jump measuring device.  Put the sticks up there and see how high you can touch.  I want to know how high you can “reach” not hover.. lol

  38. 1mandawgpack

So down below, Trent Smallwood mentions 3 potential commitments in the next few days.  Do we think that means Thomas on Sunday, Carter at some point this weekend, and Holloman (unknown date)?

    1mandawgpack MMCSDAWG Greg Poole

And if we do have a QB that can stretch the field…  Could get interesting!  All the more reason to put the guy in with the best arm! lol!  I’m still sticking with my Eason prediction!

  40. BahitsDawg

1mandawgpack MMCSDAWG Greg Poole toss in a few completed down field passes a game, and the running holes should be significant.

  41. RobDawg

It looked like he hung up there at the apex of his jump a little bit. Lots of spring

  42. RobDawg

Bansai I have to click the link above the picture itself. I cannot view them at all clicking the picture of the video itself

  43. 1mandawgpack

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole  If that is the case, and assuming that Chubb and Michel can return to “normal” form fairly quickly, we won’t need phenomenal play from the QB position.  Towards the end of 2014, everyone knew that we were going to run Gurley and Chubb a significant number of times and didn’t have a great downfield passing game, and they still couldn’t stop us.  If our line is significantly better than that line, we’ll be tough to stop running the ball.

Greg Poole This could be the most improved unit this year!  And good lord knows what it will look like in 2-3 years!

  45. RobDawg

Wait his yo yo comes off the string on purpose and yet he is able to join the two back up over and over? I can’t imagine how that is possible but I see it…

  46. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole I really hope he comes back as good as before.  I worry for him just watch that video.

  47. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole That must be really good.

I see a lot of 99th percentiles at the bottom.   4.52sec 40 official is very good.  I think we have a good one.

  48. 1mandawgpack

Just watched the video on Trey and Jake from the opening and in addition to being high quality players, it seems as if our coaches are also targeting some fine young men.  Both were humble, had great manners (yes sir, no sir, etc.) and will be fantastic additions to our rosters.

  49. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole The Tennessee Booger can predict anything, that doesn’t mean he has anything in his head except those boogers.

  50. BahitsDawg

RumRunnerDoogie Bulldawg36 yeah, but BD36 said they plan on doing something a little more cheap and permanent.  They just need to find a place under that crappy field to bury the evidence.

  51. Score Check

    RumRunnerDoogie Lucas Rogers Bulldawg36
And they have resolved the sex- sex-capades law suits for about $2.4 million.

  52. RumRunnerDoogie

Lucas Rogers RumRunnerDoogie Bulldawg36 they are still paying off like 3 coaches lol

  53. Bulldawg36

I will say he gets fired after the UGA game- when we put another beat down on the war rats!!!!!

  54. Bulldawg36

Probably will, but you never do know- butch blows a lot 4th quarter leads vs good teams. I’m sure they move the ball a lot tho with their veteran qb

  55. Bulldawg36

Will butch jones make it out of Knoxville if they finish 6-6. They might have more talent now but his coaching is still right at average

  56. Bulldawg36

Yep.. Nothing special about their unis.. Recruits did a poll and said they were the ugliest

  57. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg36 to me its bama, yea i know its tradition but those are literally the most generic uniforms

  58. Bulldawg36

Who else has the ugliest uniforms I the sec besides SC? I will say missy st and 10-R-C

Trent Smallwood dawgmum Again, congratulations on your new addition!  one of each now!  Hope mom and new born are doing well!

  60. BahitsDawg

Trent Smallwood dawgmum If I was a kid ready to make a happy, exciting announcement and a national heartbreaking event happens, I would move my announcement to a later date.  jmho

  61. Trent Smallwood

dawgmum Thanks buddy, 4 more weeks. As far as today, I am really not sure when one will happen. Could be today. I believe at least 2 over the weekend

  62. dsw61

Greg Poole I remember thinking when he committed to Bama that he was making a big mistake because of their depth chart. Don’t know what he was thinking. Bama is loaded every year with LBs.

  63. dawgmum

Trent Smallwood Any news for today? Seems like good things happen when you show up around here. And congrats on your new addition!

Trent Smallwood Bulldawg36 Told ya!! ####   There is going to be some turnover before NSD.  Kirby is going to manage our roster a little differently!

Lucas Rogers RumRunnerDoogie HS starts before too long, so we shouldn’t have to wait past mid to late August!

  66. Bulldawg36

The chickens are desperate they will take anybody. I hope they go 0-12. That would be fantastic

  67. RumRunnerDoogie

Lucas Rogers RumRunnerDoogie avoiding watching any news stations. Did stevens ever announce a time table?

  68. ZippyMorocco

    Colonial Dawg ZippyMorocco MMCSDAWG
My therapist is about 70, but knows his stuff. They no longer use a machine. I started at 85 deg, and am now at 108.

  69. Colonial Dawg

ZippyMorocco MMCSDAWG The first walk I made it all the way from my mailbox to my neighbor’s mailbox before I was exhausted…….about 30 yards!

  70. Colonial Dawg

ZippyMorocco MMCSDAWG Zippy, when I had my knee replaced 6 years ago my physical therapist came to my house.  She was about 4 ft 10 in. tall, weighed about 100 lbs., was GREAT looking…..and I was terrified of her!  She would give me an assignment on the perpetual motion machine and tell me what angle I needed to be acheiving the next time she came.  I was scared NOT to be at that level.  The best thing though was when she went with me for a walk outside.  I wanted everybody to see this old fart with that young beauty!

  71. Colonial Dawg

DawgDaddy Greg Poole That was in response to DawgDaddy saying “Lucky too!”.

  72. ZippyMorocco

    MMCSDAWG ZippyMorocco
Well, Humaana only approved 9 sessions, so it is currently in limbo. I ordered some ankle weights in case they don’t approve more.

  73. Colonial Dawg

DawgDaddy Greg Poole I’m not so sure.  That one might have weeded him out for good.

ed603 MMCSDAWG I hope!  Landing a couple more big time recruits would make it a Great weekend!

  75. ed603

DawgByte  Amen! They serve and protect! they deserve better…I better quit now, before I get banned!

  76. Bulldawg36

I hope our next pair of backs will stay more healthier than Marshall & Gurley…Chubb & Sony. But that maybe hard to do. Because cfb is such a violent game!!!!! Running backs usually take the most hits.

  77. Bulldawg36

CBS sports ranked the SEC’s uniforms and we came in 2nd! They said flo-duh had the best! They’re wrong!!! We should of been number one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hobnailboot aka RobG Morning RobG…  Thanks for letting me know about Corrine!  Crook!

  79. DawgByte

Bansai buckeroo I’m trying not to blow my top. This could have been avoided with good leadership at the top.

  80. DawgByte

Bansai buckeroo I woke thinking it was a good morning too, then I read the news.

  81. Reddawg13

dsw61 All we need to do now is Kick it up a notch! We did do some underachieving under last regime, in recruiting, play and coaching. We were a solid program and now we hired a guy that I believe escalates us to the championship level! “It Damn Sho Can Be Us!”

  82. Bulldawg36

Kirby has put together a pretty good staff. The only hire I question is Chaney. Any OC will probably be a step up from what we had last year

  83. DawgByte

Please pray for the families of the 5 Dallas police officers who were murdered last night.

dsw61 Right, you turn around a  2-10 team, not a 10-3 team.  We know why Kirby is here and I believe he will accomplish that goal!

  85. Greg Poole

This is a close call, but right now I’m going with Odom as that program transitions from Gary Pinkel. The Tigers have a stud defensive line but are putting in a new offense under coordinator Josh Heupel.
Mizzou opens at West Virginia and also plays Georgia and LSU in its first five games.
South Carolina will be close behind after losing its best playmaker on offense (Pharoh Cooper, to the NFL) and best overall player on defense (linebacker Skai Moore, to a season-ending injury).

  86. DawgByte

dsw61 DawgByte Yeah, I just saw that down below. Bummer. I was hoping we’d start the weekend with a bang.

  87. dsw61

“Georgia will get turned around really quick with and they’re in need of receivers. Their 2017 class is looking awesome.” — Terik Black

I know what Terik is trying to say here, but it just sounds funny when people refer to a team that has a 10-3 record as one that needs to be “turned around”. The recruits need to just come out and say what everyone knows; which is that the AD and boosters believe Georgia under CMR was underachieving and that Kirby was hired to win championships. It’s good to know that the recruits are very aware that Kirby is putting together a great class. If Butch doesn’t elevate his recruiting, I think that helps Georgia with players like Gibbs.

  88. converted 1981

DawgDaddy Greg Poole So who and what were they riding/driving that was filming him.

  89. converted 1981

Greg Poole So Baylor is self inflicting penalties and attempting to “Clean House” while Puke Orange is buying their way out and suffering No Penalties.  Hmmm, seems about right for the ncaa!
