NEWS & NOTES: UGA was one of the first two schools to offer Johnson back in 2015. Kirby Smart and Sam Pittman and the Georgia staff have continued to recruit him. WARREN MCCLENDON

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: OL – No. 21 OT

HT, WT: 6 foot 4.5 and 280 lbs

SCHOOL: Brunswick High School

CITY, STATE: Brunswick, GA

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 11/29/2016

# OFFERS: 18

NEWS & NOTES: McClendon has over 18 offers and one of those is from the Bulldogs, who offered back last November. There is a long way till NSD 2019, but FSU is the early favorite; however, don’t count out Coach Pittman and the Dogs here. McClendon and Brunswick’s game with Walton was not played due to families and players having to evacuate from the area because of the potential threat of Hurricane Irma. There is some controversy here as Walton County said that Brunswick did not play, it would be a forfeited loss by the Pirates. This Friday, Brunswick will hit the road for Kingsland, GA for a game against Camden County.
