Bansai buckeroo It’s either “three times is a charm” or “three strikes and you’re out”.

  2. Bansai buckeroo

@Frankly.. Maybe I’m confused. Are you talking about quarterback or in some other capacity?
I believe he has had ample opportunities to prove himself at the quarterback position. And I’m not sure another OC is going to change that….but we have a new coaching staff so we will see.

  3. Frankly

Bansai buckeroo That depends on your definition of “make it”.  Did Lambert make it?

  4. RumRunnerDoogie

Greg Poole its not that, its when i open the page for the first time each day, i will see what actually crashes tomorrow but when it does the site runs smooth for me

  5. RumRunnerDoogie

Bansai buckeroo everything ive learned from yall’s generation i learned from this guy#

  6. Bansai buckeroo

Ok..now I know…both my kids are older than you…heck you are even younger than Alpha… I’ll try to relate…I think I’ve got some underwear your age…##

  7. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg36 oops, i just scrolled to this since this site is really laggy on my end until my flash wire or something like that crashes lol

  8. Bansai buckeroo

@Frankly….well this will be his third OC,if he doesn’t make it this year I think we will have to put it on Ramsey….

  9. Frankly

    dsw61
I’ve always believed that Georgia could have gotten a lot more out of Ramsey last year with the right OC.

  10. RumRunnerDoogie

Bansai buckeroo sounds like home… still waiting for him to say feller to prove hes from S. GA#

  11. Bansai buckeroo

South Georgia baby….almost north Florida……don’t hear it much in Marietta being surrounded by Yankees and such… ##

  12. rugbydawg79

MMCSDAWG gaining over 30lbs of muscle has an effect on team mates at 6 6 245  he is almost as big as newton– being that big has an effect

  13. dsw61

Hmmm…Kirby said that Ramsey understands the offense and makes good decisions. Also puts an emphasis on his mobility and athleticism. Mentions Lambert’s football IQ and ability to make good decisions…but then adds he’s not very mobile. This is going to be an interesting QB competition because Chaney likes mobile QBs who can take off and run if the play isn’t there and the defense gives him an opening.

  14. dsw61

DawgByte Greg Poole Yeah, I’m beginning to think that also. Just need to keep him away from Auburn’s magical cabin in the woods.

  15. MMCSDAWG

Yes I will be happy no matter who trots out against unc. I still believe Eason starts but I won’t be disappointed no matter who starts. I will trust Kirby and Chaney to make the best decision!

  16. DawgByte

Hobnailboot aka RobG DawgByte He’s clearly walking around with a hobnail boot dangling from his posterior to make a statement like that.

  17. Hobnailboot aka RobG

DawgByte WTF is “Tailback Tech”…..some dude from Lexington said UGA was known as “Tailback Tech”….SMH

  18. Greg Poole

Then he’s lying when he says he doesn’t know who is going to start. Not picking at you, and but Kirby didn’t go to Bram to give anything away.

  19. DawgByte

Frankly DawgByte I think Kirby is already his own man. He’s naturally going to take processes, methodologies, work ethic etc. he’s learned from Saban and bring it to Georgia. As he said it will be an evolving situation. Kirby today is different than Kirby 12 months from now. Experience does that to people.

  20. DawgByte

Greg Poole I think it was in the way he broke down each QB and how he answered the question about true freshmen starting in the SEC. I think Kirby believes that Lambert gives Georgia the best opportunity to win, because he’s a good decision maker.

  21. Greg Poole

Just curious, and what part of his remarks today do you see as new info? I didn’t hear anything that he has not said since the first time he was asked about QBs

  22. Frankly

    DawgByte

They asked a question I have been wondering – How will Kirby be his own man as a head coach and not just a Saban clone?  I don’t say that as a negative just as a curiosity.

  23. DawgByte

DawgDaddy DawgByte Kirby and Chaney are going to give the ball to the guy who gives us the best chance to win. TO’s are a big part of that equation. Kirby said he believes it is very challenging for a true Freshman to start in this league and if you look around he has the statistics to back up that statement. Few freshmen QB’s have succeeded in the SEC. Is Eason the type of kid to blow up those examples, I think so, but I don’t get a vote.

  24. DawgDaddy

DawgByte Still not sold on Lambert will start, I think Skinny takes it over in fall drills.  Undeniable talent.  I think he will get lots of reps to bring him up to the speed of the college game.

  25. DawgByte

DawgDaddy DawgByte You going to be happy when Lambert trots out there and commands the huddle against UNC?

  26. Frankly

    Greg Poole
“While there is no guarantee of success for coaches at this level, but there are few first-year head coaches better equipped at a new program than Smart has been at Georgia.”

I’ve said this from day one.  It’s hard to imagine a better situation for a first time head coach that is replacing a fired coach.

  27. Bansai buckeroo

Basically the talking heads on ESPN were saying the same thing….I think we surprise people this year…

  28. Bansai buckeroo

Air conditioning is the single most important reason people live in Florida…… 🙂

  29. deltonadawg

On the way home from the mall this afternoon the thermometer in the car hit 104 outside.

  30. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole Very good Article…  new see something like that from AJC, there wasn’t any hyperbole or cliche gotcha quote lines.  This guy just writes a good article and nothing fruity!

  31. MMCSDAWG

Bulltoad 1mandawgpack I’m taking the Dawgs getting theirs First!  Braves are further away IMO!

  32. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole somehow they still have 10 commits this year and a #31 class.  Did those kids grow up without ESPN, newspapers, internet and sports talk??????

As for more talent, they lost some big time talent from last season.  The game they play the week before us will be a crystal ball.

  33. BahitsDawg

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole I think we were fortunate to get 10 last year.  Lambert got lucky a lot of times when the defense dropped balls he threw right at them.  Other times he seemed to stand around for 5 or 6 seconds and then would throw a deep pass that would be short of the receiver.  Passes he might of had a shot at, if he had released at the 4 to 5 second mark.

Maybe, he has improved under the new coaches, but I don’t think they can make his wheels work any better.  He moves like a kids electric yard car as the battery is dying.

  34. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole If he made good decisions and was everything that Greg McElroy believes he was, then why was he replaced in the MOST important game of our season last year???  Again, i like Lambert and I will support him as our starter if he trots out there on Sept 3, but hind sight is always 20/20.  Go back and watch our tapes from last year against UTk and against Ga. Southern.  I know he made the throw that was dropped that would have been a TD, but instead of focusing on that, go back and look at the rest of the game and watch our offense and specifically our QB play.  All I’m saying is 10 wins sounds great and believe me I’ll take 10 wins this season and be a happy camper, but it wasn’t pretty and our offense and QB play was sub par at BEST.  If we are without Chubb and Michel, then all the more reason to start Eason, we will need to rely on our QB/WR/TE’s to get the job done and I want the guy that can make all the throws and hit those tight windows.  I’m still sticking with Eason.

  35. Bansai buckeroo

My wife was surprised Georgia had its own airplane….obviously a big college football fan..#####

  36. Greg Poole

Bansai buckeroo  Good idea. The U.S. could charge admission – become an intergalactic Disneyland.

  37. Greg Poole

BahitsDawg Would Martians be illegal? I guess it would require a dome to keep them out…and then they would vaporize it. Would the dome have to have a bottom? You know, tunneling.

  38. Greg Poole

BahitsDawg IDK if the tweet was reacting to anything specific or Jones’ general cliche-speak.

  39. Bansai buckeroo

@DDaddy…. He was asked that and said he didn’t feel any additional pressure to win this year. They were in it for the long term….gave himself an out. Not sure that will fly with his fan base…

  40. DawgDaddy

BahitsDawg I keep saying it over and over, with all of that brick by brick crap and cliche spouting he better win it this year because this is his one chance for a while IMO.

  41. Greg Poole

“I think that’s going to play a small part. At the end of the day, we’ll play the guy who gives us the best chance to win,” Smart said Tuesday at SEC Media Days. “Well, you say if we don’t have either back … I certainly hope that’s not the case … does it become a situation where you’ve got to throw the ball better? But we’ve got to look at the long term, not just the first game. There’s more to the season than just the first game. We’re not putting all our eggs in the first-game basket.”
In other words, injuries to Nick Chubb and Sony Michel won’t affect the decision-making process when it comes to Greyson Lambert, Brice Ramsey and Jacob Eason winning the starting job.
“We’ve just got to figure out who’s going to be our best leader, who’s going to give us the best opportunity to win,” Smart said. “I DON’T think that’s dictated who the back is or if a back is healthy, or two backs are healthy.”

MMCSDAWG 1mandawgpack Hank was a good example of how the top hand torques the handle in a way where the first move of the barrel is down behind rather than straight to the ball. I’ve pretty much given up trying to explain this to other coaches and instructors. All I know is that the hands-to-the-ball stuff that is being taught every where is killing kid’s swings…see the clip of the USA Youth National team coach as an example of what NOT to do. There is a proven bio-mechanical reason why what Hank does allows a 180 pound guy hit 715 HRs. All the great hitters know how to “Load in the Unload”. Turing the barrel down…as a first move…allows the hips time to get in front which is how the human body naturally creates upper-lower body separation to generate torque. Hips begin to turn forward while the hands remain at the the back shoulder.

  43. BahitsDawg

Judging by the Vols last few recruiting classes, I guess Butch finished building that wall.

  44. BahitsDawg

Bulldawg36 I was going to post a picture of their QB, but I am trying to tone back my meanness.  Someone said he has some kind of disorder that causes the hair issue.  Not sure why the huge forhead.  They say he is smart, so maybe he has some extra cpus in there.  Shouldn’t that be illegal?

  45. 1mandawgpack

Bulldawg36  Whether he starts or not, the competition will only serve to make him better, which is always a good thing.

  46. Bulldawg36

No I’m not, but he is a competitor. Who has a bunch of experience. He won’t go away easily

  47. 1mandawgpack

BahitsDawg AlphaDawg  or 3) I should have just attended my last high school prom and should be mowing grass during the summer to make a little extra spending cash but instead, I’m in one of the greatest academic and athletic institutions in the US surrounded by beautiful co-eds and have plenty of time to leave my mark on this program and its beloved fan base and am absolutely living the dream.

  48. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole OSU is going to get a bias bump with their recruits.  It seems more than usual this season, since the recruiting services probably want someone new in the final number one ranking spot.

but, hey, maybe I am just bias

  49. Greg Poole

I do not believe the 5’10-1/2 Martell should be a five-star. No QB listed under 6’0 has led his team to a national title in the last quarter century, and Martell did not stand out among his peers. Five-star status is reserved for the most elite of players, and I think he’s just below that. Maybe he will be a complete superstar at Ohio State, but I’m not the only one who wasn’t wowed by Martell, either, as http://247sports.com/Article/Ranking-the-Elite-11-quarterbacks-at-The-Opening-Finals-46183968http://247sports.com/Article/Ranking-the-Elite-11-quarterbacks-at-The-Opening-Finals-46183968http://247sports.com/Article/Ranking-the-Elite-11-quarterbacks-at-The-Opening-Finals-46183968. If Martell had not https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjp0ZmBou7NAhWIbB4KHV10ADIQFggfMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sbnation.com%2Fcollege-football-recruiting%2F2016%2F7%2F8%2F12128582%2Ftate-martell-ohio-state-qb-commit-texas-am-washington&usg=AFQjCNF3IuaZ16aLg23N_PlxybwJa1x-rw&sig2=Nn3Zt9gOPAa-2rz2UqsCcQ&bvm=bv.126130881,d.dmo, I do not think he would be considered for five-star status.
There is also a lot of talk on social media about how some shorter receivers and defensive backs should be rated five-stars based on their performance at The Opening — specifically receiver Tyjon Lindsey (5.8’5) and corner Jamyest Williams (5’9). But I’m not joining that chorus. Seven-on-7 is exactly the format where the very real importance of size is minimized. It’s non-contact by rule. There is no blocking or tackling, no need to take a hit and hold on to the football. And at The Opening, QBs had only 3.5 seconds to throw the ball, roughly 20 percent less time than normal, which made small slot receivers stand out even more as QBs had even less time to push the ball deep than ever. I’m a bit morehttp://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2016/5/4/11580292/nfl-draft-receiver-defensive-back-height-pick-recruit, but would like to see him in pads against other elite players first. The temptation to fall in love with small players who shine in the 7-on-7 format is something folks new to the recruiting scene fall victim to every year. But veterans know not to.

“They’ve been successful in a two-back-run-oriented offense,” Smart said. “They’ve been power ball and run the ball really well in a tough conference to run the ball — and it’s hard to run the ball in the SEC because you’ve got really good defensive lineman.
“They’ve run the ball. They’ve thrown the ball in the SEC at a high efficiency at the University of Tennessee. Both those things attracted me to them. They’ve got good proven credentials with what they’ve done. That was important not only in recruiting but to our current roster, and they’ve been a great pair.”

  51. BahitsDawg

1mandawgpack Gonzalez will probably end up with the Yankees and will win them numerous titles.

  52. BahitsDawg

    AlphaDawg crazy ring.

btw, in one response there was something about Stafford breaking his thumb.  did he?

  53. BahitsDawg

    AlphaDawg

1). He isn’t going to be the starter, so everyone set your hair on fire and run around screaming.

    or

2). He can’t wait for practice and the season to begin.

  54. Bansai buckeroo

Well I’m going to go with @Avon Barksdale list from yesterday……. 🙂
    19 hours ago
At this camp, I’m expecting commits from Herring, Holloman, Lawrence, Stevens, Gibbs, Webb, Swift, Terrell, McBride, Britt, along with any and all Bailey, Edwards, or Stinchcomb boys…

  55. AlphaDawg

BenKellam AlphaDawg ZippyMorocco Greg Poole True, I would have that exact mentality if UGA was playing. I would probably kiss my wife bye as she leaves in a beautiful dress on the way out for a NYC party and I’m in my Pj’s with a cold one fully zoned in. LOL – But given it’s been teams I’m not passionate about, so I casually watch. If I miss some here and there it’s no big deal for me.

  56. BenKellam

PTCDawg BenKellam 1mandawgpack Bulldawg36 I knew he was on the bigger side. Didnt realize he was that big. Seems more like a solid DE.

  57. PTCDawg

BenKellam 1mandawgpack Bulldawg36 at 255 pounds at age 17, hard to imagine him being a college LB…but maybe so.

  58. BenKellam

AlphaDawg ZippyMorocco Greg Poole Problem comes about when you are with friends who dont like football. I’d rather be able to have a few people over to actually sit down and watch/talk about the game without the distractions of a NYE party at the same time.

  59. AlphaDawg

ZippyMorocco AlphaDawg Greg Poole I was hoping I could get some insight to why it’s not liked on NYE. I’m not a huge partier, but I may end up at some friends house or a bar on NYE and it’s cool to have something to watch other than Ryan Secrest for 4 hours.

  60. godawgs678

Is there a list anywhere of the recruits on campus this weekend? Do we expect anyone to pull the trigger?

  61. AlphaDawg

DawgLink As dumb as it is. It’s still an opinion and it’s still under the first amendment. I do NOT agree with what he posted, but I defend our rights.

  62. Bansai buckeroo

@DDaddy… He better step up his recruiting or he’s going to come up a brick or two short.

  63. ZippyMorocco

    AlphaDawg Greg Poole
My son was born on NYE, so we never partied. On the bright side, I got a tax deduction for one day

  64. BenKellam

DawgDaddy 1mandawgpack He wont be able to build himself a new job out of a couple bricks.

  65. Bulltoad

1mandawgpack The future is bright for both UGA and Braves.  The question for me is just when will it happen.  Love the direction of both right now.

  66. DawgDaddy

1mandawgpack After this year Booch is going to need a few more bricks.  He has built it up to this year or bust IMO.

  67. BenKellam

PTCDawg BenKellam I guess his Meeechigin commitment was pretty unexpected. Wasn’t he the one who’s mom got all the birthday cards from UGA and started crying because she was so happy?

  68. MMCSDAWG

1mandawgpack The steroid era put an end to my Baseball love affair.  I still recognize H. Aaron as the home run king and I will until someone that is clean breaks it…  I still follow our Braves and will root for them, but not very much.

  69. 1mandawgpack

Bulldawg36  I think he’ll be considered an OLB early in his career.  When he hopefully gets to Athens and gets a couple of years in a S&C program, it wouldn’t surprise me to see him pack on enough muscle to move to DE and play with his hand in the dirt.

  70. 1mandawgpack

On a slightly different topic, the Braves actually look like a competitive team under this new interim manager.  I’m not sure why the front office didn’t see it much sooner, but I think Gonzalez was a major part of the team underperforming the past few years.  While the Braves still have the worst record in MLB heading into the All Star break, it’s only by one game.  Things could be worse – we could be the LA Angels who are only marginally better than the Braves despite having one of the highest payrolls in MLB with Trout, Albert P. and a couple of pitchers each making over $20MM this year.

  71. PTCDawg

BenKellam I have Beal in the DL list as well but was told that was cheating. Other than that I only have Malik Herring and was told I could keep Aubrey Solomon on the list also.

  72. BenKellam

Addition: I guess you can count Beal as a GA DL commit since he was born in Norcross. But to my untrained eye, he seems like hed work out better as an OLB.

  73. Bansai buckeroo

I know everyone is excited to see Butch at 2pm…. Don’t try and hide it…. 🙂

  74. BenKellam

Greg Poole Man its sad that Drew never really hit his stride. And I guess TJ Stripling was just never able to put on the weight.

  75. BenKellam

So is the D line class just weaker than normal this year in Georgia? I guess there were a bunch of top tier DTs last year. Do we even end up with any commits on the D line?

  76. Greg Poole

BahitsDawg Me? I’m laughing..at drawing any conclusion other than the literal meaning of the words he used. I have zero interest in Eason as starter in terms of my ego – being wrong is not an issue for me.

  77. DawgLink

The NFL should get his attention with some sort of penalty. Really a sad time in America and a professional athlete makes it worse. SMH

  78. Frankly

    BahitsDawg AlphaDawg Greg Poole
I agree that thing is not attractive AT ALL.  Still want one though.

  79. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole But I think Eason gives us the best chance to win and is the best player to boot.

  80. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole BenKellam All press is good press.  You can expect picketers and road blocks in your neighborhood in 3.. 2… 1…

  81. DawgLink

Did anyone see the istagram post by Isaiah Crowell? Just when I thought his thug days were over, he has outdone himself. Look on 247 and you can see it. Appalling

  82. Greg Poole

AlphaDawg Yes, but is more about and ligament or muscle damage. The bone should kit in the same time as a simple fracture.

  83. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole I don’t know what that means but it sounds bad if the bone punctured the skin

  84. Greg Poole

DawgDaddy AlphaDawg  They are there all day, every day – no favs – just a hustle.

  85. DawgDaddy

AlphaDawg I would imagine.  Keep the one for his favorite and make a few $$ for his time.  The kid will be well off financially one day lol.

  86. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole Same kid there with the blue hat seems to be getting coaches to sign the helmets. Probably selling them lol

  87. rugbydawg79

Greg Poole Just noticed that ATD  can mean 2 things Attention To Detail  —Attack The Day !

  88. Reddawg13

MMCSDAWG BahitsDawg Reddawg13 The LOS is the whole foundation on both sides of the ball. Can you imagine Gurley, Chubb, Moreno, Michel behind Bama’s line? Can you imagine our LB’s and DB’s behind Bama’s D line? I am so stoked about the direction we are going!

  89. converted 1981

Greg Poole So the barners qb is 175 lbs??????  How fast is he and how long can he run?  Might be a short year for him especially if he is a Dual Threat qb.

  90. AlphaDawg

BahitsDawg MMCSDAWG Reddawg13 I’m with you. I’m a noob when it comes to line play. I only really notice when the QB keeps getting flushed or sacked. I understand the importance, it’s like a foundation.

  91. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole I kind of like having it on at new years parties, but then again, I’m a man with no children. What’s the biggest annoyance of it being on NYE for everyone?

  92. MMCSDAWG

dawgmum Greg Poole AlphaDawg Exactly, I like the role of the hunter vice the hunted!  That will be a War between the hedges this year and I like our commander better than theirs!

  93. MMCSDAWG

BahitsDawg MMCSDAWG Reddawg13 It’s where the game is won and lost…  LOS.  I look forward to watching our OL progress as Pittman gets more and more time with this unit!  He will probably swap out a few guys here and there, especially against our cupcakes, but come time to play UF here in JAX I can’t wait to watch them big uglies get after it!

  94. dawgmum

Greg Poole AlphaDawg I’m cool with everyone voting for Tennessee to win it this year. Let them run all around with their big heads for a while, then we’ll meet them in Stanford Stadium for some big time fun.

  95. BahitsDawg

MMCSDAWG Reddawg13 After being on this board for a while and being exposed to Greg’s OL love and talk of line strategy as well as the rest of you OL experts, I am starting to pay more attention.   I watched a little of a game – I think Arky vs. the Gators and noticed a beautiful block by the center pulling and hitting his LB about 7 yards from the snap.  It was cool.

  96. MMCSDAWG

Reddawg13 MMCSDAWG I wouldn’t want to be that DE/OLB that is waiting in the hole as he pulls around to lead block!  Might accidentally trip or something lol!

  97. MMCSDAWG

Reddawg13 He might actually be a little too big and a little too broad in the shoulders.

  98. Reddawg13

Greg Poole Reddawg13 Well Bama had some luck converting big tackles into centers. Are you thinking because of the calls for the O line? He dang sure has the size and strength.

  99. Reddawg13

MMCSDAWG Reddawg13 Right on, if we don’t believe how can we expect our team to believe?

  100. Reddawg13

Someone recently said they thought Big Ben would make one hell of a center and I am starting to buy into that one. Anyone else?

  101. AlphaDawg

BahitsDawg AlphaDawg Greg Poole apparently Bama had theirs broken by a recruits Dad

  102. BahitsDawg

AlphaDawg BahitsDawg Greg Poole Orson Charles

btw, after googling broken BCS trophy, I think I know why they went away from the beautiful crystal trophies.  I didn’t know so many had been broken.  wow

  103. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole Tennessee is my pick to win the East for the second straight year (Georgia received the overall media vote).

So is he saying UGA got the media vote last year and this year or just last year?

  104. BahitsDawg

Bansai buckeroo lol, no kidding.  Finally, they are showing some intelligence.  The stubborn hard hardheadedness following the debacle irritated me more than the original bad planning.

  105. BahitsDawg

AlphaDawg BahitsDawg Greg Poole Remember the UGA player (I think a Tight End) who knocked over Florida’s crystal ball?

  106. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole AlphaDawg I am just glad that I don’t have to complain about Missouri’s supper easy scheduling for a year.  Man, the SEC really smiled on them for several years.

  107. BahitsDawg

AlphaDawg Greg Poole I still shake my head when I see that UGLY trophy.  WTH were they thinking?   The only positive is that a recruit can’t knock it over and shatter it into a million pieces.

  108. Greg Poole

AlphaDawg The only way that schedule complaints are valid is if the team chooses it. SEC makes the schedules, end of story.

  109. Bansai buckeroo

I can’t imagine why Crowell thought that was a good idea. Just shows why the Dawgs cut him loose…

  110. Greg Poole

BenKellam I deleted it because it can not lead to any positive discussion. No problem that you posted it.

  111. DawgDaddy

AlphaDawg Yep, that was not the smartest thing he ever did but also not the dumbest.

  112. AlphaDawg

MMCSDAWG Bansai buckeroo LOL sorry guys got busy and forgot to check. I wasn’t going to post is because I know many of you are service men, but I see it’s already here.

  113. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole I’m not sure there’s many upset with our schedule. It’s manageable. But nobody talks about schedules when you’re holding this:

  114. BenKellam

BTW I apologize if that breaks any kinda rules or anything. Please remove it if it does.

  115. dsw61

Wouldn’t surprise me if Leonard Warner’s stock rises after his showing at the Nike Opening.

  116. AlphaDawg

Did everyone here see what #SoCrow posted on Instagram that he’s now apologizing over?

  117. AlphaDawg

Bleudawg MMCSDAWG Bansai buckeroo  I believe there are quite a few people like me that don’t have much to offer but, absolutely love reading each and every post from this wonderful site. 119. Bleudawg

MMCSDAWG Bleudawg Bansai buckeroo Im also so glad to have UGA football as a distraction from everyday life. Boards like this one provide some great relief for troubled minds.

  120. MMCSDAWG

  127. AlphaDawg

DawgDaddy AlphaDawg Morning coffee [check], 3 future SEC all Americans [check], Wheels up to ATD [check]

  128. Greg Poole

DawgDaddy I doubt there is much of a shot at him but Kirby is getting UGA on most major prospects’ lists. That can not be a bad thing.

  129. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole Sink or swim. They’re choosing to swim which is good. I wonder how much it’s going to be though? I assume they won’t reach much further than the $20/m bubble.

  130. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole I still have cable so I am glad ESPN is trying this instead of raising my cable bill.

“I think it’s all predicated on whether or not (running back) Nick Chubb’s healthy. A lot of it’s going to be on Jacob Eason. That kid’s going to be fantastic, but how good is he going to be early?”
Concerning Chubb’s health: “I think (Kirby Smart) probably had hoped to hold him back a little bit early, but now I don’t know that he’s going to have that luxury because of the Sony Michel injury. Everything I’ve heard is that Chubb’s going to be ready to go.
“They have to get a lot better on the offensive line. Defensively, they’re going to be pretty good. (Linebacker) Natrez Patrick is going to be a superstar.
“Their schedule, out of the top three contenders, is probably the softest.”
