NEWS & NOTES: Dominick Blaylock has held an over from Georgia going back to July 2015. He had been favored to UGA for a while and made it public this past summer, committing to the Bulldogs on July 20th. He is considered one of the top receivers not only in the Peach State but in the country for 2019.
So is there any concern over another program flipping Blaylock? While there is always that possibility to till a prospect signs their LOI, Blaylock is a solid verbal to the Bulldogs.

NEWS & NOTES: Jadon Haselwood was offered by UGA back in May of 2016 and he committed to the Bulldogs this past spring on March 16th. Haselwood is considered one of the top wideouts in both the state of Georgia and the country. Some fans are concerned when he took a couple of visits to Auburn during the fall, Nov. 11th and Jan. 20th, and while it is a long way to go till NSD 2019, Haselwood is still firmily committed to Georgia. He recently took an unofficial to Tennesse on Feb. 3rd.

NEWS & NOTES: Jaelyn Lay’s recruitment is on fire at the moment. The Riverdale High School junior has received no less than 14 offers since Jan. 1st, including one from the Bulldogs on Jan. 23rd. As of last count, J. Lay had over 21 offers so far.
At 6 foot 5.5 and 217 lbs coupled with his athletic ability, it’s easy to see why programs are enamored with J. Lay. Those kind of wideouts don’t grow on trees. For comparisons, he is not unlike Georgia’s current TE Charlie Woerner, and Lay could grow into that hybrid TE/WR roll.

NEWS & NOTES: frederica Academy’s Jashawn Sheffield has held an offer from UGA for over 2 years. He has over 24 scholarship offers so far and FSU is considered an early heavy favorite; however, South Carolina has really poured on the full court recruiting press as of late.

NEWS & NOTES: Jalyin Simpson is the teammate 2019 WR Jashawn Sheffield, and he has over 15 scholarship offers so far, including one from the Bulldogs who offered the Frederica Academy High School athlete back last March on the 17th.
Simpson is a fast and dynamic football player whether he is on offense at WR or tailback, wreaking havoc in the secondary on defense, or as a returner on special teams. Simpson will remind you a lot of current Georgia WR and return specialist Mecole Hardman, Jr., and Frederica uses Simpson a lot like Elbert County did Hardman.

NEWS & NOTES: Garrett Wilson is talented wide receiver prospect out of the state of Texas who has over 28 scholarship offers so far, including one from the Bulldogs who offered him on Dec. 20th. Right now, it looks to be a Ohio State-Texas battle for Wilson, but as you so often here me say about this class, it is a long way till NSD 2019.
Wilson is also a talented basketball player for Lake Travis.
