NEWS & NOTES: Hill has held an offer from the Bulldogs for over a year. Of note, UGA is also recruiting Hill as a potential center. He visited Georgia on Junior Day back on 02/18/2017 and on G-Day 04/22/2017. Who else has the Houston Co. big man’s attention? Hill also visited Auburn twice over the summer and FSU has also made a big push for Hill recently. Hill was at Kearis Jackson’s family BBQ in Fort Valley, GA at Jackson’s commitment announcement on August 19th. Since football season started, he has been back to visit Auburn on an unofficial on September 2nd and then Florida on September 16th.
He most recently visited Athens a couple of weeks ago on Sept. 23rd for the Mississippi State game. Just a couple of weeks ago, if you asked me where Hill was leaning towards, I would have said Georgia, but now, that looks like that has changed. While the Bulldogs are certainly not out of it for the No. 2 OG in the country, but teams like Auburn and FSU have really made a strong push here. Good news is that Hill will be back in Athens this weekend for Georgia’s homecoming game against Missouri and he has said he will most likely also take an official to UGA, which means he could be back again as early as Nov. 4th for the South Carolina game or Nov. 18th for the Kentucky game.
Hill and Houston County are having a tough season this year with 2 wins in 7 games but will look to put win number 3 on the board when they host 3-2 Coffee for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff tonight.

NEWS & NOTES: Salyer is another talented Peach State offensive lineman in the 2018 class. He is the No. 1 OG overall and the No. 3 player from the state of Georgia, No. 7 overall nationally. He has held an offer from Georgia for over 2 years. Salyer visited UGA back on G-Day on 04/22/2017. A few weeks ago, I mentioned that it looked like it was a Georgia vs. Clemson battle for Salyer, and in an interview with Rivals that has been picked up by other media outlets like Fanbuzz.com, Salyer confirmed that his top two schools are UGA and Clemson. Salyer visited UGA for their season opener versus Appalachian State on September 2nd and again on September 23rd for the Mississippi State game. Hill plans to take an official visit to Ohio State on October 28th. He plans to announce his decision after the high school football season and before Christmas during the early signing period in December.
Salyer and (2-3) Pace Academy hosts undefeated (7-0) Cedar Grove for a Region 5 game in Class AAA tonight at 7:30 p.m.

NEWS & NOTES: Jones has held an offer from Georgia for over 2 years. He visited UGA for G-Day on 04/22/2017 and also camped and visited with the Bulldogs on June 7th. Jones put UGA in his top 11 schools he released on August 18th and was back in Athens on September 2nd for the Bulldogs’ season opener against Appalachin State. Keiondre and Callaway are rolling along in Region 5 and are undefeated on the year at 6-0, ranked No. 5 in GHSA Class AA but face a tough (5-1) Heard County team and QB Emory Jones on the road in Franklin, GA Friday night.

He helps to anchor Cedar Groves O-line and should be one of the top offensive guard prospects in the 2020 class. His first offer was from FAU back on May 9th and he was recently offered by South Carolina on October 8th. Cedar Grove and Brandon put their 7-0 undefeated season on the line tonight at (2-3) Pace Academy in the ATL.
