TODAY’S FEATURED PROSPECTS

If position ranking is noted, unless otherwise stated, it is 247 Sports latest composite ranking of the player.

Quavaris Crouch

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: RB

HT, WT: 6-2, 224

SCHOOL: Harding University High School

CITY, STATE: Charlotte, North Carolina

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes

# OFFERS:19

NEWS & NOTES:

Seems to be a battle between Clemson and South Carolina right now, but I expect Georgia to be in the mix of things as well. He went to Clemson’s Junior Day on January 20th and the Tigers seem to be the team to beat for Crouch. Georgia gave him an offer too, along with 18 other schools. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 2 running back and No. 1 prospect in the state of North Carolina. Don’t count out the Bulldogs for this one, he exudes the running back mold that Georgia hunts for.

Despite his size, he is quick! Crouch runs a 4.6 40 yard dash! He’s big of course, physical and shows great vision on the field. He anticipates holes and waits for them to develop. He runs his best between the tackles but has the capabilities to bounce outside when he needs to. Crouch has that extra gear that so many schools want in a running back and likes to play in every aspect of the game. He’s got a great set of hands too! And blocks well. He does run kind of high sometimes so leveling out his pad level is a way for him to improve. But man this guy is exciting to watch!

Noah Cain

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: RB

HT, WT: 5-11,207

SCHOOL: IMG Academy

CITY, STATE: Bradenton, Florida

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, March 3, 2017

# OFFERS: 29

NEWS & NOTES:

247Sports ranks Cain as the No. 3 running back in the country. With 29 offers it seems every team is going after this back. He’s got the build to be a dynamic RB. Gives a real natural feel for the position. Looks like he could take a lot of reps as a back and not get worn down from it. Has nice vision on the field and forces more than one player to tackle him. He’s got a natural ability to obtain more yards after contact. Cain’s a big back that runs a 4.41 40-yard dash. Georgia could use a back like this to add to its already deep lineup, he fits the mold well.

The teams that seem to be in the lead are Ohio State, Texas, and Miami. However, this recruit will most likely be a National Signing Day guy. Georgia’s not out of it, but it will be a race until the last minute.

Trey Sanders

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: RB

HT, WT: 5-11.5, 216

SCHOOL: IMG Academy

CITY, STATE: Bradenton, Florida

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, UGA offered on February 21, 2016

# OFFERS: 12 offers

NEWS & NOTES:

Sanders is a natural running back but holds the capabilities to be a do-it-all player. He’s got it all, power, speed, and agility. Runs downhill like a monster. According to his Hudl, he runs a 4.42 in the 40-yard dash. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 1 running back and the No. 2 prospect in Florida. Sanders breaks tackles like a veteran. He’s well rounded and could step on the field and play right away. He looks like he loves competition and works well with direction. The Bulldogs offered him February 2016 after he attended Junior Day on February 20, 2016. He recently attended Baylor’s Junior Day on February 3, 2018.

Once an Alabama commit, Sanders opened his recruitment back up on January 1 when he decided to de-commit from the Tide. It seems like a three-team battle right now between FSU, Alabama, and Georgia.

NEWS & NOTES:

Emery ranks as the No. 6 running back in the country according to 247Sports and the No. 5 prospect in Louisiana. He has the ability to go out and catch a ball. He’s elusive with his running and forces defenders to miss. Once he hits the edge he outruns his opponents. He sees the field well and will fight for a move to make a play. He can bounce between tackles and waits for plays to develop. Despite offers from Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama, LSU seems to be the team to beat.

Devyn Ford

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: RB

HT, WT: 5-11, 185

SCHOOL: North Stafford High School

CITY, STATE: Stafford, Virginia

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, June 24, 2016

# OFFERS: 30

NEWS & NOTES:

Ford ranks as the No. 7 running back according to 247Sports and the No. 2 prospect in Virginia. With 30 offers, it’s safe to say Ford is a hot commodity. He does everything at a high level. A true all-purpose back and shows an elite talent. He sees the field better than most of the film I’ve watched on the guys above. Ford shows great balance. He’s instinctive and anticipates plays well. Ford has an impressive combination of quickness and speed as he runs a 4.49 40-yard dash. He’s got a great set of hands too. So he’s not only dangerous on the ground but with his catching abilities as well. He’s a top back and whoever gets him will get a special player.

Virginia Tech and Clemson seem to be the top two teams right now with Tech leading the way. He recently went on an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech on February 3. Georgia needs another all-purpose back and he could be the target its looking for.
