TODAY’S FEATURED PROSPECTS

If position ranking is noted, it is 247 Sports latest composite ranking of the player.

MARQUEZ EZZARD

CLASS: 2018

POSITION: No. 11 Athlete – DB, WR

HT, WT: 6 foot 1.5, and 213 lbs

SCHOOL: Stockbridge High School

CITY, STATE: Stockbridge, GA

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 01/05/2017

# OFFERS: 27

NEWS & NOTES: The Bulldogs offered Ezzard back in January, and he put UGA in his top-8 on 04/27/2017. Georgia was thought to be a favorite early on, but he ended up committing to FSU on July 21st. Now, four months later, Ezzard has reopened up his recruitment, de-committing from the Seminoles on Saturday, Nov. 11th.

Will Georgia go after Ezzard? I don’t think so, but I could always be wrong. The problem for Ezzard is that Georgia’s 2018 class is a lot more full than it was back before he committed to Tennessee and those open spots that are left, which have a number of prospects clamouring for them.

SHOCKY JACQUES-LOUIS

CLASS: 2018

POSITION: Athlete – DB, No. 94 WR

HT, WT: 6 foot 0.5, and 175 lbs

SCHOOL: Dunbar High School

CITY, STATE: Fort Myers, FL

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 02/28/2017

# OFFERS: 26

NEWS & NOTES: Georgia offered Shocky Jacques-Louis back in February. He committed to Tennessee right before the football season started on Aug. 21st, but he de-committed from the Volunteers and reopened up his recruitment on Sunday, Nov. 12th. So is there any interest here from or in Georgia?

He has taken official visits this fall to Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, and Michigan State, and he has one more official left to take if he chooses to do so. With Georgia having 17 commitments for 2018 and more targets than spots left, they are going to be picky, and I don’t think they will go after Shocky. He likely will look at one of the other schools he took an official to and Kentucky could be a potential landing spot for the 3-star athlete out of Fort Myers.

NEWS & NOTES: Georgia offered Taylor back in February. The Machester, TN wide receiver has been committed to the Volunteers since June of last year, but since Justin Fields committed to UGA on Oct. 6th, Taylor has been possibly eying the Bulldogs. Could he be a flip candidate?

The ye ‘ole Magic 8-ball says yes, and Taylor de-committed from Tennessee on Sunday, Nov. 12th. Louisville and Notre Dame are two other programs that are also in play here, but I do think Georgia stands a very good chance of landing talented athlete.Taylor is scheduled to take an official visit to Athens this Saturday (Nov. 18th) to see Georgia’s final home game of the season against Kentucky. He is also still scheduled to take an official to the Volunteers on Dec. 9th, but it remains to be seen whether or not he will still keep that visit to Tennessee or not.

Taylor has the potential to playyer on offense at WR or on defense at defensive back in the secondary.

KENDRICK TORAIN JR.

CLASS: 2018

POSITION: Athlete – No. 63 CB, WR, Return specialist

HT, WT: 6 foot 2, and 195 lbs

SCHOOL: Jesuit High School

CITY, STATE: Tampa, FL

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 03/16/2017.

# OFFERS: 23

NEWS & NOTES: The Bulldogs offered Torain, Jr. back in March, and he put Georgia in his top four on August 2nd along with Tennessee, UCLA, and USF. He ended up committing to UCLA on Aug. 20th, but then decided to de-commit and reopen up his recruitment on Nov. 4th. He could still end up at UCLA, but keep your eye on USF.

What position will Torain likely play in college? Will it be on offense at WR or on defense at safety or CB. At 6 foot 2 and 195 lbs, he could play safety at the next level and some analyst think that may be the position that best suits his skill set but he also looks good at CB. Torain is also a very talented receiver.
