SCHOOL: Rome High School

CITY, STATE: Rome, GA

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 02/20/2016

NEWS & NOTES: Anderson committed to LSU back on April 22, and he then de-committed from the Tigers on July 6th. After he reopened up his recruitment, Anderson took a lot of visits at the end of July, including one to UGA back on July 21st after he visited Tennessee on July 20th. Anderson also visited Alabama on July 22nd, then Clemson on the 24th, and Auburn on July 30th. Right now, Anderson is a big Dawg lean, but he has not set a time table to announce his decision. Anderson and Rome defeated Justin Fields and Harrison 33-21 on August 25th in their home opener and haven’t looked back, going 3-0 in thier first three games. Rome was off this weekend and will look to add win no. 4 when they travel to Dallas, GA on Friday, Sept. 22nd to take on Paulding Co. High School.

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: No.

NEWS & NOTES: Nwanze plays at both LB and safety for Centennial High School out of Roswell, GA. He transferred from Northview High School, where he played his junior and sophomore years. While he doesn’t have ideal height for an OLB, Nwanze has a nose for the ball on defense and always around the ball making plays. Centennial got their first win on the year over Johns Creek, 21-17, on the road on Friday night. Next weekend, the Knights travel to Milton, GA and take on Cambridge High School.

KEVIN SWINT

CLASS: 2020

POSITION: OLB

HT, WT: 6 foot 2.5, and 215 lbs

SCHOOL: Carrollton High School

CITY, STATE: Carrollton, GA

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 03/25/2017

# OFFERS: 14

NEWS & NOTES: Swint was offered by the UGA coaching staff back in March, and he was one of a number of talented prospects to attend the Kirby Smart Football Camp at Georgia on June 2nd. The Carrollton High School sophomore already has a number of big time FBS scholarship offers, and I expect that list to grow over the next 3 years. Swint and his Trojan teammates dominated their first two opponents by a score of 106-20, but got all they could handle from East Paulding on the road on Friday in a 43-41 win. Next weekend, Carrollton hosts Woodland HS, and then on Sept. 22, will have a tough road test at Rome High School.
