JACKSON CRAVENS

CLASS: 2018

POSITION: DL – No. 49 DT

HT, WT: 6 foot 3, and 275 lbs

SCHOOL: Timpview High School

CITY, STATE: Provo, UT

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on Sunday, August 6th

# OFFERS: 19

NEWS & NOTES: Georgia just offered Cravens ON August 6th; so, it is too early to tell where the Dogs stand here. Suffice it to say that Utah and Washington both are favored landing spots for the Timpview HS big man and several other Western U.S. programs have recruited him heavily. His tape looks good, and as a junior, Cravens had 160 tackles, 20 for a loss, and 13 QB sacks. Those are impressive stats, even if the competition isn’t as stout as some of the other high school classifications and regions around the country in states like California, Florida, Georgia, and Texas.

RICK SANDIDGE

CLASS: 2018

POSITION: DL – No. 11 DT

HT, WT: 6 foot 5, and 273 lbs

SCHOOL: Concord High School

CITY, STATE: Concord, NC

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 01/19/2017.

# OFFERS: 23

NEWS & NOTES: Sandidge included Georgia in his top-11 schools on May 1st. The Bulldogs new DL Coach Tray Scott could be the key here as he recruited Sandidge when Scott was coaching the d-line at UNC. Sandidge visited UGA with his family the weekend of July 15th and Tweeted out he loved UGA; however, he also had a very good visit to Columbia, SC on July 20th and 21st. Right now, the Gamecocks have the edge. Looks like this may end up being a UGA vs. USCe battle.
