Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

Yea I don’t think we have a lead like people think, I think it comes between us and Alabama

Not reading in to anything but saw a pic of Jacoby at the 7 on 7 he was attending wearing LSU gloves…. also see Bama got a 4 star commit today and narrowed the gap for 2nd. Kirby has lost control ###

Score Check dsw61 I know. Just saying I hope Chaney gets the TEs more involved this year.

RumRunnerDoogie The 3 kids there from Anderson, SC where 2-2018 and 1-2019. You will hear a lot more about them.

Watched the 2015 Arkansas-Tennessee game last night. I’m really looking forward to getting some more size on the OL.  They had a 2nd and goal inside the five yard line and they just lined up and played smash mouth football. Didn’t get in on 2nd down, but on 3rd down their RB got in standing up. I wasn’t impressed with Brandon Allen. Also not impressed with Dobbs’ passing ability. Arky’s RBs broke off some really long runs, and their TEs had a good game. Love the play calls where the defense looses the TEs and they end up wide, wide, open. Hope Chaney can work some of that TE magic. Arky used a lot of two and even three TE sets. Tennessee countered with four down lineman and a LB on the line …so five on the line of scrimmage. Just pure smash mouth football. Tennessee’s DL was clearly getting tired in the fourth quarter. Can’t imagine that type offense with an elite QB.

Oh…and Tennessee’s field should be condemned by the NCAA and no team should be forced to play on that crappy excuse for a field. Player’s were routinely losing their footing. Brandon Allen dropped back on one play and planted his back foot…the back foot when throwing is called the “plant foot” for a reason…and his foot slid backwards and he kind of did the splits. Could have resulted in a serious injury.

If he is a starter or a contributor satan he will play in their opener.  Otherwise he will likely be a victim of “Roster Management”.

Zacch Pickens (6-4/240 DE Anderson, SC) Chats with Michael Barnett and Tracy Rocker. Smart and Rocker really want this kid.

Kavesz Sherard (6-4/300) offensive tackle from Anderson South Carolina – 2018, I think:

  10. Greg Poole

This young man told Tracy Rocker he could not go because he had a charlie horse. Rocker’s body language sums up his reply.
