NEWS & NOTES: Frierson has been committed to the Hurricanes for over a year, but there has been rumors since spring that he is also a potential flip to Georgia. He visited UGA back on May 20th and was in Athens again for the weekend of July 15th. If Kirby Smart and company can pull off flipping Frierson to UGA, it would be a big pick up for the 2018 class for the Dogs, but it is the middle of August now with no new news on the Frierson front.

NEWS & NOTES: Chris Smith committed to the Dogs back in May and has been a very vocal member of the 2018 recruiting class. As of right now, he is solid verbal commitment to Georgia and shows no signs of waivering.

NEWS & NOTES: Vaughn played at Hapeville Charter Career Academy from his freshman though his junior season, but for his senior season this year, he transferred to Langston Hughes. He’s a big, talented DB, but does not have any major offers as of yet. He has taken a number of unofficials to several different programs like Ball State, Georgia State, Eastern Kentucky as well as Auburn.
