NEWS & NOTES: The Bulldogs were one of the first three schools to offer Kevin G. Harris II, who forms one part of a talented Grayson OLB duo with 2019 prospect Owen Pappoe. Harris will also line up on the LOS and play with his hand in the dirt. Once heavily favored to the Dogs early on during his recruiting process, Clemson has made a strong push here of late. The Tigers offered Harris back in November and he attended Clemson’s Junior Day on January 20th. As of right now, this looks like to be a Clemson-Georgia battle.

NEWS & NOTES: Owen Pappoe has held an offer from UGA for a couple of years. The Peach State 2019 OLB phenom has also visited Athens a number of times and back last spring on May 4th, he released a top 10 that included UGA, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, FSU, LSU, Nebraska, Ohio State, and Tennessee. This past fall, he narrowed those 10 down to three which include Clemson, Georgia, and Nebraska.

Pappoe was able to visit Georgia during the fall as well and was in Athens for the Sept. 23rd game against Mississippi State and their Oct. 14th homecoming game against Missouri. Georgia has impressed Pappoe this year and should be considered to be the front-runner here; however, He is one of the top five players in the 2019 recruiting class and one of the top linebackers; so, expect all the top programs to be in his ear over the next year.

JOSHUA WYATT

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: LB – Safet/OLB

HT, WT: 6 foot 1, and 205 lbs

SCHOOL: C.E. King High School

CITY, STATE: Houston, Texas

STATUS: ???

UGA OFFER: Yes, UGA offered on 11/21/2017.

# OFFERS: 1

NEWS & NOTES: The Georgia coaching staff offered Joshua Wyatt back during the fall on Nov. 21st, and the Houston, Texas recently posted on his Twitter account on Sunday, Jan. 7th, that he announced his decision to commit to UGA. But there has been no official word from UGA announcing his commitment or public response from the coaching staff that we normally see; nor, have there been any commitment articles from sites like 247 or Rivals. So, that is the reason for the “???” regarding his status. Regardless, he does hold a UGA offer and the staff is interested in Wyatt.
