TODAY’S FEATURED PROSPECTS

If position ranking is noted, it is 247 Sports latest composite ranking of the player.

JUSTIN FIELDS

CLASS: 2018

POSITION: No. 1 Dual-Threat QB

HT, WT: 6 foot 3, and 221 lbs

SCHOOL: Harrison High School

CITY, STATE: Kennesaw, GA

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 11/18/2016.

# OFFERS: 41

NEWS & NOTES: Fields was offered by the Georgia staff last November, and he visited UGA on over the summer on June 12th and again on July 14th after de-committing from PSU back on June 6th. It looks like it is down to Auburn, FSU, and Georgia for Fields. He has taken unofficial visits to all three programs over the summer. I think the Bulldogs are the team to beat here. The senior Harrison High signal-caller has looked the part of the No. 1 QB prospect with his performances so far this season. Fields was 12-for-19 passing for 275 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-0 victory over River Ridge this past weekend, and on the year, he 51-of-81 passing for 821 yards with 10 touchdowns to just one interception. He has also rushed for 476 yards and eight touchdowns on 57 carries. That work has put him on the POY Watch List. The Hoyas travel to Acworth, GA to take on Allatoona HS on Friday.

HT, WT: 6 foot 1.5, and 184 lbs

SCHOOL: Hapeville Charter Career Academy

CITY, STATE: College Park, GA

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: No.

# OFFERS: 11

NEWS & NOTES: Hajj was among the top three class of 2018 passers in the state of Georgia in terms of production last season, throwing for nearly 3,000 yards and 27 TDs to 10 INTs. While Hajj is not considered a dual-threat QB, he has 4.5 forty speed and used that ability to also rush for 534 yards and 8 TDs for Hapeville Charter. The Hornets have played two very close games so far this year, a 3-point victory against Fitzgerald in their season opener and a 1-point loss to Thomspon (Alabaster, AL) on Friday. But after that, the Hornets turned it up a notch or two and have won their last two games by a combined a score of 72-3. They were off this past weekend and will resume play this Friday in their 4th road game in a row when they take on South Atlanta HS.
