TODAY’S FEATURED PROSPECT: Derick “Rambo” Hunter

 

Derick Hunter is a 6-4 281 pound four-star strongside defensive end. According to 247Sports Hunter ranks as the No. 15 strong defensive end and the No. 26 prospect in Florida. Georgia offered the Fort Meyers, Florida native on February 14. Hunter holds 40 offers from schools like Miami, Florida, Maryland and many others.  Georgia’s on the hunt for talented defensive linemen, and Hunter is one of them the Bulldogs hope to snag.

Bulldawg Illustrated’s recruiting guru, Lucas Rogers spoke to “Rambo” about his recruitment and who currently his number one team.

Interview with Derick “Rambo” Hunter:

Q: So I know you got offered by Georgia about a week ago or so. What did you think when you got that offer?

A: “Happy, never been so happy.”

Q: What makes you like Georgia so much?

A: “The love. They really made me fall in love with the logo.”

Q: What other schools are in the running for you?

A: “Bama, Tennessee, Penn State, Mississippi State, and South Carolina.”

Q: Any guys that you know you want to play with on the next level?

A: “Donta Lucas”

Q: What all are you looking for in a school? 

A: “Just making me fall in love with the logo.”

Q: Do you have a top 3 or 5 or anything yet?

A: “What’s the need for that when I got #1! Sorry man, I’m in love with it.”

Q: So you’re saying Georgia is your number one school?

A: “Georgia is #1!”

Q: You got anything else you want me to add or anything you want to say to the Georgia fans? 

A: ” GO DAWGS!”
