Jamil Burroughs Interview:

Q: How is the overall recruiting process going for you?

A: “My overall recruiting process is going great I’m really enjoying it.”

Q: What do you think of Georgia?

A: “Georgia it feels like a second home to me and I enjoy my visits to Georgia.”

Q: How hard are they recruiting you? And what are some things they are telling you?

A: “Georgia’s recruiting me hard right now. They’re showing me lots and lots of love and making sure I’m comfortable with where I’m at and I have a really good connection with the coaching staff which is a good thing. They treat me like I’m one of their own players. The things that Georgia tells me is grades first and football comes second which really means a lot to me because if I was to commit to Georgia that would be one thing or one reason of my commitment.”

Q: Tell me about the last time you visited Georgia? How’d that go?

A: “Last time I visited Georgia was last month on Junior Day. It went really great, I had lots of fun they took me around the whole campus and gave me an academic tour, tried on uniforms and took pictures, and other stuff like that…. I had a great time can’t wait to go back.”

Q: What are the key factors that will go into your decision?

A: “The key factors that will go into my decision is a great relationship with the coaching staff, having sit-down talks with us about life after football, making sure that we work our tails off in the classroom and on the field, and leading the US towards success in many different ways.”

Q: Any top schools? if so who?

A: “I have 6 top schools,….. Georgia, Clemson, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Auburn.”

Q: Who is the primary guy recruiting you at UGA? Tell me what you think about him and Kirby Smart?

A: “Dell McGee the running backs coach. I have a really good connection with the both of them. They check up on me now and then, just showing me that they still here and showing support and wishing the best for me.”

Q: Have you decided when you will commit to a school? If so when?

A: “I’ve decided I will commit to one of my top 6 schools either my junior year or Signing Day.”
